finally got the collections of these Guyver Keyrings to add to my Collection which is coming along nicely.

get a load of these great lamps i would love them all but very expensive aint sure if theres a guyver 3 lamp.

The discussion thread for the Guyver in English petition seems to have been deleted, so I'm starting a new one. To my understanding (without the wiki to help me) is that Guyver has been published 3 times, to an extent. Viz Comics, Star Comics and Chuang Yi Publishing. I'm not sure which volumes Viz and Star made it up to, but I know Chaung Yi released 10 volumes before going into liquidation. We have the petition on the board, but I don't think that's helping our cause at all. So, without knowing where the license for Guyver currently stands... What haven't we tried? Have we as a collective tried e-mailing other publishing companies about picking it up? T…

Quite simply i am going back to the beginning of Guyver and i am going to re-read and re-watch everything because ive forgotten a lot and its just unacceptable!! i was going to review and share my opinions / observations on the manga, oav and TV series all at once, but i think its a bit much so the main focus will be the manga. #2 - VIZ - Mysterious! - Chuang Yi - Chronos, The Secret Organisation - Advocacy - Puzzle of the Secret Society of Cronos Risker doesnt seem as willing to activate G2 as in the OAV!! in the manga he is attacked and in the OAV he's gung ho for some tentacle action. here we first see Agito Makashima lurking about. hmm.. whats he doing there?.... differences in translations here.... #3 - VIZ - Risky! - Chuang Yi - inspector riskers challenge - Advocacy - Challenge of the inspector in this chapter Risker goes to challenge Guyver 1 and of course ends up as guyver goop being eaten by the boost organism. An anomaly i spotted in chapter 3 is that the panels where Risker explains about the unit G is different in the Viz version. in fact the whole of the chapter in the Viz version seems to be the original and Takaya obviously redesigned Guyver 2's design and redrew the entire chapter for the tankobon.... we see sho strike the metal and G2's reaction, but in the tankobon version we dont... also i noticed all 3 versions are different in the e…

#6 - VIZ - Destuctive! - Chuang Yi - The Destuction of Chronos Japan - Advocacy - Big Turnaround! Destruction of Cronos Japan! Sho rejuvinates and saves Tetsuro - awesome!! Guyot divulges information on the creators and Cronos' plans to bend humanitys destiny to its own will for world wide domination and the fact that humans were developed as weapons and are the basis for the next step in evolution - the zoanoid. Translation differences : while all 3 explanations are slightly different they basically say the same thing, the main difference is the name of the aliens... #7 (volume 2) - VIZ - Terrifying - Chuang Yi - the other sho, the menace of bio-boosted clone - Advocacy - n/a really, i honestly cannot even remember this! was it even in the 2005 tv series? Sho's chopped off arm comes alive! This chapter has some good humour in it at the beginning, which is a good change of pace. its particularly funny when the cloned sho freaks tetsuro out because hes naked in the 'archive' / library. i'm more impressed by Viz again , as the sentiment of Sho realising he can not get away from the bio booster armour comes across. i liked this because despite the undeniable coolness of the Guyver unit and all the good he can do with it and t…

#12 - VIZ - Desperate! - Chuang Yi - the prelude to pursuit - Advocacy - i love this chapter! action and a little bit of drama. Murakami doesnt have his oav triangular baralled Max Factory Zoanoid Buster though just a normal 'freedom arms' revolver, thus cant blow holes in zoanoids. strange that the 'freedom arms' inscription is shown in chuang yi but not in the Viz version. Sho realises he can use his head sensors to search for people/ zoanoids for the first time. Murakami tells Sho hes protecting mankind aswell as his friends. so no pressure.

i apologise for not keeping to the same format as before but its too time consuming!! so instead i'll give an plotpoints of the volume and any other points i think need 'pointing' out! plot points: inside mount minakami aka Relics Point Reichmann Gyro??? aka Richard Guyot is still alive and reveals Agito is part of Cronos to his hostages. Agito reveals he is Guyver 3 Hyper Zoanoid team 5 in the hizouse! Yohei and Shizu are introduced the guyver group and Dr Valcus \ Dr Balcus / Dr.Barcas is surprised by Murakami's first appearance as a (proto) Zoalord. What a great volume! loads of story to explain what exactly has been going on! plot points: the guyver group is confronted by more Enzyme 2's, Muarakami is forced to transform and fight Murakami reveals his involvement with Cronos, Professor Yamaura's inside rebellion at Cronos and the origins of the Zoalords and Zoanoids by the creators along with the human reaction to fusing with the Guyver unit. he also reveals the concept of the 'Super Exsistance' - a zoalord with a guyver unit!! i will apologise here beause there wasnt much i observed there was just lots of good old action!!! ... Aptom declares his true intentions of revenge. Aptom vs. G1 Sho gets the ability to transform to the Guyver back and vows to fight his way out of the fate he has been dealt. Aptom starts to become a very interesting character and takes over Elegens body! Volume 6 plot: Mr Odigari and his team are introduced who are continunig Professor Yamaura's rebelllion from within Cronos' Relics Point. the live relic resonates with the Zoalords on site Guyot, Balcas and Murakami. Archanfel is introduced aswell as the rest of the 12 zoalords and Guyot revealed as a traitor..tut tut tut. not much i wanted to say on these chapters really, so heres a summary... #4 - VIZ - Volatile! - Chuang Yi - whos the third shadow - Advocacy - secret manuevering! the 3rd Shadow!? Well this is where the manga and oav diverge .
