  1. Oh I bet Sho would still hate Guyot. Only because Guyot has still shown to be such a bastard. He is truly evil. Balcus, and a few other Zoalords ( Like Shin and Purg'stall) have shown to not be total monsters since X-Day, and I don't think Sho can deny that they have done some great things for the world, despite it being a violent takeover. This is very much a case of "The ends justify the means". Yeah Chronos manipulated millions and killed more... But now the entire world is at peace, and doing better than ever. I've always thought that if he was approached by Chronos after Agito's betrayal, and they offered him a truce so that the Segawa's and friends might be able to return to their parents and possibly start a normal life... I think he would have taken it at this point. Now, unfortunately we know that the rogues would have got in the way anyway, as they are also intrigued by the units... So that incident probably might still have happened. Remember, other than following Agito, Sho has never been on the offensive. It's always been Chronos doing something to him first, and his reaction to it. It's only been very recently, once he found his spine/purpose, that he's stepping up... And even then, he made a truce with Chronos despite the fact that he could probably have easily killed Shin. I think the only thing Sho wants, is to return to a normal life... But as the unfortunate hero of the story, that is a long way off, if it ever happens.
  2. He probably doesn't know or care either way. Nor does he really seem to care for Apollyon's plans. The look he gave him when he saw him last was more of a " Oh, it's THAT guy again." Apollyon kidnapped them to take care of Archanphel. And since the majority of us here assume Apollyon is Imakarum, the Segawa's are two people he knows pretty well, that are decently good people. People he could trust that would make the best of the situation. I think the same way... When Apollyon attacked Guyot's base, he said he had a question for him. I believe that question is " Where is the unit remover?". If Guyot survived, perhaps it did as well. If I had to make a prediction for the ending, I think Apollyon wants the remover to try and give Archanphel a Guyver unit. However, I think it would not go as planned and ends off having Guyot somehow removing Guyver 3's unit, and Apollyon and Gigantic Exceed having to fight a Guyver Zoalord Guyot, who may not be as powerful as foretold because Guyot no longer has a proper Zoa-Crystal. That or Guyot getting Valkyrie's unit, making him a double flawed Guyver Zoalord.
  3. Apparently he does. He was going to use it against Gigantic Dark, but was stopped and was mentioned that " His form should only be used to protect Archanphel" So we know he has one, just what exactly it is, we do not know as of yet.
  4. 1. Essentially yes and no. Zeus Thunderbolt, Sho/Aptom, the Rogue Zoalords (with Guyot) and Apollyon. All 4 groups have done quite a bit to derail his original plan of creating an army and going into space to find his creators. Let's see the tally so far: Agito (with Griselda and Libertus) - Killed 2 Zoalords - Waferdanos, Yentsui (working on 2 more - Jabir and Clumeggnic) Rogues: Killed 1 Zoalord - Purg'stall Apollyon: Killed 1 Zoalord - Caerleon Sho and Aptom: Killed 1 Zoalord - Khan "Active" Zoalords: 6 - Balcus, Shin, Archanphel (incapacitated), Imakarum ("missing"), Galenos (Unknown location) and Guyot (not full power) 2. Everyone is kind of against them now. Sho and Agito have formed a shaky truce with each other, Balcus and Shin ( possinly much that last 2 loyal Zoalords alive, unless Galenos shows up) in order to wipe out the rogue Zoalords and track down Apollyon. Agito is currently beating up the 2 pretty badly so far. 3. Sho probably has some... thoughts on the matter, but has always seemed to be the more mature person when it comes to things like that. He seems mostly focused on the future and what he can protect, rather than the past and revenge ( that's more Agito's department). 4. Takaya is a very details oriented artist, and has never been one to shy away from making very detailed cities. It's both his blessing and a curse. And all these years (30), it seems that he's never had an assistant like most high profile manga artists ( guys who do One Piece/Naruto etc usually have 2-3 assistants). But it has been stated that he was looking for an assistant and is very aware that he needs to get this thing finished... We've been hoping that it would at least increase the page count, and consistency... but there was no chapter last month... And is looking like there isn't one this month either ( not confirmed yet though)
  5. When the creators were leaving Earth, they injured him pretty severely, which he then forced himself to destroy the planetoid they sent at the earth. This caused irreversible damage to him. So much so, that he only appeares briefly in short stints throughout history, and then retreated to his secret island of Silha to rest/hibernate for a few more decades. During and After the Guyot incident at Mnt. Minikami, where he pulled himself out from a artifical micro black hole, Archanphel remained active until the World was taken over and I believe until the Ark was raised. After that, he nearly collapsed in front of Imakarum, and then began to rest again... Only this time, he was awoken very early when Gigantic Dark destroyed Imakarum's Zoa-Crystal. After some time of not resting properly on the Ark (forgive me, i can't remember him doing anything big), he used what remaining power he had left, to fully heal Imakarum, which further drained him even more, nearly killing him. Now he has been resting on the Island of Silha, but seems rather powerless to do anything... And it seems he can't hibernate as he used to, thus why Tetsuro and Mizuky are on the island taking care of him.
  6. That is a very popular trope of an ending, and anything is possible... Except that Archanphel seems rather... impotent at the moment, and unable to possibly use any powers. And Chronos rules the entire world, and rules it pretty well, so they wouldn't just "Disappear" without there being massive government uprisings and instability. And while Sho and Agito are back to being allies, I don't know if Agito would go for the big sacrifice play... But he could if Shizu is dead or something... So probably unlikely.
  7. Actually, it's got some decent number of supers... the problem is, Gundam series have so many units, it kind of overshadows the supers a bit... Even if the supers are much better individual units... Some combo attacks are too good to use ( I remember using the 3 females from Nadesico a lot, because of a team attack they could do, that all could be used 3 times because of the 3 units). But it does have at least 2 of the basics... A Mazinger and a Getter team. And yeah, they are using the Nadesico "Prince of Darkness" movie for this one. So Akito and the girls will return no doubt, as well as Ruri and it's original characters... Though Akito probably won't be playable until near the end of the game depending how they handle the story of Prince of Darkness.
  8. Ugh, way tooo many Gundam series. I usually base my judgement on getting a SRW game based on the series involved... Which was great for the GBA/DS games because they were all standalone stories. Hard to say if this will be like the Alpha series and be part of a bigger story... But this one has too many I either don't care about, or are sick of seeing. I'm thinking of getting the SRW OG The Moon Dwellers, simply because it is the OG cast and not relying on series I don't care about ( even if it doesn't use the originals from SRW W yet) Generally surprised to see Might Gaine though. Though I do like what Bandai/Namco is doing with the Asian releases, and giving them english translations. I picked up the Asian release for Gundam Breaker 3, and it was pretty well done. They aren't going to be perfect of course. There will definitely still be a lot of awkward sounding sentences... But with the menu's, attacks, items etc... all translated as well, it will still be easily playable. But I am definitely either meh or sick of over half the cast in this one. English or not, I think I will pass.
  9. Ohoho... just you wait...
  10. Where is Dr. Balcus when you need him...?
  11. Hey Allen! Yeah, at the time of your first post, we were still kind of in a not very communicative mode. It really wasn't until early 2015 that Brian and I started regularity chatting over Skype... And turned out that we still wanted to play with things. I went heavy into art mode and Brian went into getting the sites all functional ( including Japan-Legend, the former theguyver.net)... And things have escalated from there. While there hasn't been much in the way of new fan fic ( though there has been some), I've done 70+ new pictures for numerous characters (and more coming!), because of one essential rule we set: Everything before 2015 is up for replacing/reimagining/redesigning. I can tidy up your account tomorrow if you like... But it's way too late right now, and I have work tomorrow.
  12. Finally got around to watching it all. Overall... Pretty good. Not really great, but had enough to like. If I had one major complaint, it'd be the lack of decent music and opening. They should have spent a little more time with that (possibly so that it had a retro feel of the original). especially for the opening and transformation sequence. One thing they should have taken from Mecha anime was that combining mechs usually have a cool theme to go with it. Especially when you reuse the same animation all the time, it helps spice up repetitiveness by having a cool theme to play. I also feel that it feels like they left one episode short... Had some good stuff overall though. I mean, the animation was nice, and the humor, while at times a tad childish, was still well written. Plus the character designs were great and the voice acting was well done. Just had some nitpicks
  13. And why not, here's the character profiles that shows off their weapons too.
  14. Unlike other attempts, this is also a complete reboot that stays in the same idea as the original, keeping a lot of the settings, characters and plot. 5 space explorers ( cadets) pilot 5 lions and form Voltron to fight the armies of King Zarkon. About the only real different thing, is that Takashi Shirogane/Sven Holgersson ( black outfit) is actually named Shiro and is actually the leader and the pilot of the Black lion. But everyone else, Keith, Lance, Pidge and Hunk are all basically the same. Princess Allura is now a sexy light brown skinned, white haired elfish princess, who apparently acts as Ship Commander. The team:
  15. Entire first season is out on Netflix! I just finished the first episode ( which was the length of 3 episodes) and really liked it. If i didn't have to work tomorrow I'd plow through the entire series right now.
  16. Only Guyver 2 Female and Guyver 3 were announced. Probably since they are relevant in the manga right now. Guyver 2 hasn't been relevant since the 2005 TV series ( of which the Bio Fighter collection was for). Now, if these sell well, we might see him, and possibly others... But nothing official has been said other than Guyver 2 Female and Guyver 3.
  17. Holy crap... Looks great! ...But what is up with the 2 different color versions...?
  18. As we have seen from the few instances of Zeus Thunderbolt, High calibre arms, like 50 .cal, armor piercing rounds or high powered explosives work ok against regular Zoanoids... But anything armored in the Hyper level are practically immune unless you get absolutely lucky. I mean, even if you put a normal shotgun to a Ramotith's face, it would do some damage. It's safe to say that small arms fire would not be very effective (unless really lucky)
  19. Pure myth and superstition. I assume just like the Garlic and crosses against "Vampires". Probably to give people hope in a world of monsters back in an age of unknowing. Just like religions that are now proven to be false in the Guyver world.
  20. Yes and no. For a simple " We beat the bad guys! Wooo!" ending... Yeah, there is essentially only 2 people that might be able to fight the Gigantics at all, and one is injured/sickly... And while it seems like we've seen the best the Gigantics can do... We don't actually know that yet either. But I have a feeling ( and/or hope) that Guyver will not have such a simple ending, which removes the balancing in the first place. It's no longer how much they fight and kill, but how do they achieve peace/best case scenario.
  21. Normal for me as well. Even though I tend to play games for the story and less for the challenge, I think sometimes easy is just too easy.
  22. I think that it might just be guests/unlogged in people, as when I just visited, it noted I was there. Dunno WHY they'd do that, but it certainly weird.
  23. Well, under the new system, essentially it only matters that you OWN the books themselves. How you get them, is entirely up to you. Because let's face it, Takaya does not make money on each issue. Nor does he get paid by the sotres who buy the books. He gets money from Kadokawa under whatever contract he has. It's essentially like making digital copies of DVDs that you own. You are free to do that all you want, so long as you don't distribute them publically. What we are doing is "Sharing translations with other like owners who legally own the material" instead of normal scanlations. The shared translations just happen to be in scanlated format. If some copyright lawyer/supercop/robocop came by your house and was asking if you owned that material, all you'd have to do is hold up the book and say " Yep."
  24. No matter if your book is in bad shape, the scans are all in high quality!
  25. We believe Archanphel knows exactly who Apollyon is, and he doesn't seem too happy with his current actions. And Takaya has given us a lot of clues. The majority opinion is that Apollyon is . It's probably also why he singled out Tetsuro and Mizuky. Well, they didn't seem to salvage any of Guyver II's control medal, only some of the bio material. The stuff that needs the control medal to be controlled. If you pay close attention, her control medal is actually made of a different material than Guyver 1 or 3's. That is because it is an Alien metal that they could not reproduce at all, and seems to be the main reason that Valkyrie is having issues ( also it has been noted that Apollyon's armor IS made of the same metal as the Guyver control medal) Valkyrie is actually the adopted sister of Oswald Lisker. And Liskers family is similar to the Makashima family in that they are long time Chronos supporters, thus the children usually join as well. She joined Chronos of her own free will and become an inspector like her elder brother under her own power. So she had made quite the name for herself, and like Lisker, was probably in good position to be a leader somewhere in Chronos. But Valkyrie has become a traitor to Chronos officially when she stole the proto-type Guyver unit that they had created. She only joined Guyot for 2 major reasons: 1. Keep Chronos off her back. They have been able to track her and try to capture/kil her. Guyot saved her from one such attack and offered his help with the next point: Revenge against Guyver 1. So, she was "Helping" Guyot to get to Guyver 1 (the attack on the mansion was to try and capture Tetsuro and Mizuky)... But after their recent "loss" at the mansion, Apollyon and Guyver 1 nearly killing Guyot, and Agito fighting the rogues, I doubt their alliance will last much longer.
