  1. 1. Officially unknown... But speculation has guessed that he is after the unit remover... Which if Guyot survived, perhaps it did as well. 2. The house is there mostly because Archanphel needs some assistance, and having Tetsuro and Mizuky on the island without any kind of comforts themselves would be rather counter productive. 3. Archanphel used a metric ton of energy to revive Imakarum and seems to have either damaged himself further, or his normal sleep cycles aren't able to do the trick anymore. Tetsuro and Mizuky are there to essentially babysit him and make sure he stays healthy. 4. Valkyrie's Guyver unit was created from Guyver 2's bio-boost cells and an Artificial control medal that Chronos made. It was in storage in the Pillars of Heaven US base that she broke out of. 5. As mentioned by Sully, the blade Apollyon used was the same technique that Li has. Likewise, he has also used the powers of Edward Carleon... on Carleon himself and won. So it is speculated that, much like how it was always said that Archanphel was either as strong as all 12 Zoalords and/or their powers are derived from him... Apollyon seems to be able to possibly use them all as well.
  2. It's kind of hard to gauge really, as the fights with the Gigantic have never really been that long for various reasons... And only one of them has been because of lack of power. The fight with Gigantic Dark and Imakarum could possibly have been hampered by the fact Sho had just finished using the Gigantic vs Imakarum and the Gigantic didn't have time to replenish it's own energy reserves... As well as having fired off the Giga-Smashers, using the shielding a lot and a bunch of the weapons. We know this can happen from when Guyver Gigantic was fighting Purg'stall and Agito pulled the Gigantic off of Sho in mid battle. When Agito got the unit, it had repaired itself, but he noted that there was not enough energy to fire the Giga-Smashers and instead settled for a massive pressure cannon. So, it has it's own energy reserves and can still feed... but Agito was overusing the powers probably a bit too much, coupled with the fact it was probably still partially drained from Sho's earlier fight. So, basically it could probably stay on a Guyver indefinitely, just so long as they were using it efficiently.
  3. Probably yeah. I mean, sure, we still got Dark Hero, with a much smaller budget, and it was a much better movie... but essentially it still had to live with what happened in the first movie. That being said, I doubt it really hurt the franchise at all... Since it was pretty much almost unknown anyway at that point. Only a small North American Anime community even knew about it at the time. If anything, nowadays it probably brings more people into the community... Since watching and making fun of bad movies is kind of a big thing. And they watch one of those videos and hear that "Oh there is an anime and manga about this... Might be worth checking out" kind of deal.
  4. I think he doesn't care for revenge. I mean, he's been screwed over numerous times with kidnappings, deaths of family/friends and betrayal... He's always been the more mature man about it. As we've seen, he's more primarily concerned about what he can protect now, rather than worrying about the past. That's not to say that he might have words with Balcus if the two ever meet again... But again, he just had someone who thoroughly betrayed him try and kill him... And after beating him, shared information on his biggest trump card.
  5. It could be said, that yes, having them stolen and then all the Units activated helped the corruption to come out quicker than it may have without them... And that is basically the plot of the series anyway. Chronos being a secret organization that was going fine and dandy until the Guyver units were stolen and activated. But then, if Agito had not tried to steal the units, Guyot may have ended up with a unit already, and as an evil Guyver Zoalord, the world would be a very different place.
  6. It's not that big of a deal, especially when you've noted that you've gone back and read threads. Asking questions that may have been answered already is perfectly fine. I mean you could also just make a "APOLLYON'S BIG QUESTION THREAD'O'RAMA" and keep all the questions in one thread, or create a few. It's all good really. "Bad necro posting" is finding an old topic and posting things like "Cool!" or "Did not know that!" ect... That do not further the discussion. But if it is a question of comment that contributes something NEW to the topic, it's not a bad thing at all really.
  7. Essentially... yes. We already know that he has reached limits before. Back when he discovered he had the absorbing power, he got to a point where they were no longer powering him up, so he had to target Hyper Zoanoids. And now that he has absorbed so many Hypers, chances are his "base stats" probably will not improve very much more at this point. Sure, if he finds a Zoanoid with some new power he does not have, he certainly could still gain that... but unless he is able to absorb a proper Zoalord (Khan was still protected by the Crystal. All Aptom did was merge with the diluted giant body of the Draglord), it is unlikely he will ever reach anywhere near Gigantic levels of basic power.
  8. The biggest issue, is that Chronos rules the world now. And rules it WELL. They have done a lot for the world since taking over and a massive upheaval of the new status quo is not what they want to really do. I mean, we just had Sho form a truce with the main Chronos faction at this point because they can be trusted for the most part. Of all the Zoalords, Shin seems to actually care about what the populace thinks of them, and doesn't just see them as rats to be stepped on, like Khan did. After the events of the Draglord fight, Chronos is on damage control. So yeah, while a lot of people (in Japan especially) question Chronos, they are still the ruling body of the world... Even with diminishing Zoalord presence. But sometimes, SOMETIMES, leaving a "bad" government in charge, is for the greater good of the populace. I honestly bet, that after the rogues are dead, if Apollyon wasn't there, Shin could come to Sho and his group and essentially say " Hey, we'll essentially stop hunting you and allow you to live without hiding, just so long as you don't try to screw with us..." Sho probably would have accepted. Sure, they have done some horrible things to him in the past, but as of right now, the current Chronos is good for the world. About the only thing Sho cares about right now is his friends. If Chronos gave up on them, he'd probably not care about Chronos very much at all. Maybe even work with them to police the remaining leaders. Of course then there is Agito and such... but even he is aware that strategy iis important in the case of trying to remove a leadership that new currently controls the entire world. Essentially what Agito seems to want, is to run Chronos himself. Agito's previous planning was all based on gaining more power to eventually take over. He had one final obstacle to his plan... And that was Sho. And Sho kicked his ass. If Sho had not won that fight, Agito would probably have tried to kill Shin by now, and still go after the remaining rogues. This "Common Sense" you seem to believe should mean Sho and Agito should just destroy Chronos is essentially the issue the US has had in certain Middle Eastern countries. IE: they "Liberated" them from their "Evil" ruler and assumed they would be hailed as heroes. And that just didn't happen at all, and things are actually worse than before. How would you react to somebody who is essentially been labeled a Terrorist in ALL the media, suddenly swooped in and destroyed the infrastructure of the current ruling Government, who actually cured a lot of diseases as well as stabilized the economy of the entire world?
  9. Not much really. I still very much prefer playing on consoles. I mean, I played XCOM 2, and it was really great... But lets see... Superhot - Interesting FPS where time basically only moves when you move Elite Dangerous - A spacecraft fighting/cargo sim... Have not put hardly any time into it as I have been looking for a flight stick locally, and no where seems to carry them Tabletop Simulator - Essentially can play any tabletop type game with this program... So long as someone makes a mod for it. Lots of D&D mods, but I've been playing a game called Kingdom Death with my friends. But mostly been sticking to artwork and such mostly.
  10. people use Change.org for so much stupid stuff, that it has turned a good idea, into a drenn idea. As for Ghostbusters: I essentially agree with James here... Not once does he care that they are females. The trailers are just bad, and they are showing us a movie that looks like it'll more of a cheap knockoff than a homage or anything positive. THAT is my biggest issue with them so far. And unlike BVS, I never planned to see this in the theaters until I saw a trailer. And the trailers have not impressed me, so I won't be going. Simple as that.
  11. Issue has been resolved. Topic locked.
  12. First of all, your topic is up for REVIEW, and you are not being reprimanded for anything at this point. And the "Adult" section of the forum is locked off by a simple password, so it's not necessarily "Open to Public" as it were. You have to go through other steps to see it. The forum is essentially "Safe for work", despite Guyver being a slightly more adult comic. And your post about Mizuky being sexualized in the manga is a valid question and concern about how a character is treated in a manga. The discussion in that thread was well done and mature. You were asking in your new thread whether or not we thought two people from a children's series, had sex, when there is no evidence of it. NOT the same thing. I SHOULD reprimand you for not keeping this private, and instead you had to make it public and make a stink over something small.
  13. Tommy is the most popular answer, because the writers really made him the coolest, most powerful and the most screen time. Plus it helps that JDF is one of the very few actors who still will always awknowledge his time as a Power Ranger... and is actually now more badass than he was when he was on the show. But, I was always a fan of Jason ( Austin St.John). He just seemed a lot more like a leader, and himself being a badass as well. I actually stopped watching Power Rangers for a while when he left. Though, it was also nice to see him return in Zeo when he was given the Gold Ranger powers... Such a shame he had to go there as well ( plus the Gold Ranger suit being another 6th with Armor design is just as awesome as the Green/Dragon Ranger.)
  14. The unfortunate thing about DBZ games really. They covered so much in the first game, and now they might add some new content... But we'll still most likely need to revisit "old content" That being said, I hope the already impressive character customization is improved... I kinda wanted to be a kid/teen character rather than just a shrunk adult... As well as possibly some SSJ3 abilities for your own character... But most likely we will see the God/SSJ God forms. Still tempted. I did have fun with the previous one.
  15. Welcome to the forum! The forum does house the Guyver Advocacy team, but access to translations is restricted to people who prove that they own the manga. Please see posts in the following forums regarding the Scanlations: http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php?/forum/130-access-request-area/ http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php?/forum/15-guyver/
  16. I know the feeling. Iron Man has always been my favorite Marvel character. And I am 35 now, so for a long bloody time. Now Robert Downey Jr is the only Iron Man that really matters and everyone only really knows him ( kind fo Marvels fault too I admit. The character does bounce around a lot because of many many many writers). Don't get me wrong, he is still the perfect choice for Tony Stark, and I wouldn't have it any other way... but the exclusivity of having to explain why he is my favorite, is just not there anymore.
  17. Well, bad reviews don't necessarily mean anything. BvS still made a lot of money, and so far, all the projects they had planned are still greenlit. Whether or not we will get a GOOD Shazam movie however...
  18. Not yet... He's still in "Ball Form" and currently being squeezed by the large hand of Exceed Darkness.
  19. They are not currently up I believe due to some issues with the new forum software. The first chapter should be back up soon, and the newest chapter is not complete as far as I know. I believe finishing the updated Book 32 scans was the biggest priority.
  20. The Datafile page for it in the back of book 32 officially calls it "XD Darkness"
  21. That's what it seems to be. With Kurumegnik's help he is able to expand his powers and go big, but without him, he could probably still form it, but I doubt he could hold it for long. But I assume the powers we've seen so far from him, are most likely still similar to what he could do now, albeit at probably a smaller scale. Here's hoping that Kurumegnik has another form, and that Agito just doesn't get to crush him without too much effort. That would seem kind of... cheap. Would still be kind of cool, but kind of cheap.
  22. I'm taking a slight break for Dark Souls 3, but should be back with more character pictures soon. Writing for myself has been a challenge, but I've picked up a couple books that might help with that... But there are also sooo many pictures to do... However, I know Brian has been writing quite a bit recently, though I cannot specifically comment on WHAT he is writing... Can't really speak for anyone else... But I can say that using Skype has made it infinitely easier to remain in contact, and being in contact is what keeps us going. Makes it a lot easier for Brian to nag me about pictures anyway... Though, going back to myself... There is little chance of "new" content. Rather, I really want to rewrite my really older stuff... But with new content added in there, and get a better foundation for the future stories. We've done a lot ( and I mean a LOT) of looking back, as well as forward, and there are some interesting stuff planned to update, but not actually change anything drastically. But of course, theat entirely depends on whether or not we actually do anything... For which all I can say is: I am trying my best to not disappoint anymore
  23. As much hate it rightfully gets for poor story telling, always being online and content drips... I'd have to say Destiny. I've always been more of a "Sci-Fi" shooter fan, and Bungie has been doing them right for a long long time. And Destiny, again, despite the poor storytelling (which is sad, because the plot is kind of cool), is a very solid first person shooter with great controls. Plus the sheer amount of hours I've put into it, has to mean something... right?
  24. Well, that is the way Disney wants to go with it. Their Marvel productions have shown them that you can still afford multiple big budget films in a year, if you do them right. Now that they have Star Wars under their belts, they've promised at least one Star Wars movie a year. Sometimes it will be a new movie in the main story, sometimes it will be a side story... Of which Rogue One is. I really find it interesting that they decided to go back and do a side story that isn't even really that connected to the newer movies, and filling in a notable, but small "blank" in the Star Wars movie history. And so far, it looks good.
  25. - Lex Luthor - I've actually heard people argue about this... That "Alexander Luthor" is not the real "Lex Luthor" because of one line that Jessie Eisenberg says about it not being his company but his fathers. So his father is also "Lex Luthor"... Difference here is, his father did not deal with Superman, thus is not "Lex Luthor" the Superman villain. - Yeah, thinking back, there were civilians involved. - Not enough time, in a 2.5 hour movie, is just poor directing I think... It really should have been broken up into two. - No sir. He is THE GODDAMMED BATMAN.
