A new Gigantic Guyver figure
The legend goes that it was not Takaya who originally colored the Guyver Gigantic. It was done by someone else when doing a promotional piece for the manga, and it was either liked enough or "already done" so it was never changed. Probably why Exceed has no yellow on it, at all =P And while Agito's armor is a dark color, it is not actually black. It usually considered to be a dark off purple. Gigantic Dark's armor however is very clearly black, with the yellow bits thrown in for contrast.

A new Gigantic Guyver figure
That would be great. Judging from your previous post, it certainly seems like they care about what people had to say about the first figure and are looking to change things. That being said, I've now got a bit of money saved, so to get posable 1/6 scale Guyvers... I have only one thing to say to them...

A new Gigantic Guyver figure
Actually, mostly good things were sad about their previous release of Guyver Gigantic, when those exact same thoughts were said. Plus there was a different thread that showed off the other possibly figures they are doing... So it seems like they may not be 100% amateurs. These Guys are very tempting, considering their sheer size... But if I get this one, I'll have to track down the Guyver Gigantic figure as well... Sooo much money...

Modern Humans and Creator Telepathy
Hard to say, but I would assume that, since Chronos Zoalords cannot control them without processing, perhaps that trait has been bred out of humanity. But that is only assuming that their telepathy was similar to Alkanphel's.

Berserk New Series
Yeah, unfortunately it is total garbage. They are going the full CGI route that Knights of Sidonia did... and it looks horrible. Gut's proportions are way off, and the animation is much worse than CG stuff from 10 years ago. Plus, like the movies, they are skipping arcs... Episode 2 already has him meeting Farnese... And episode 1 already had Isidoro... Ugh. I had such high hopes.

Why is Guyver so underrated
Whoops. Meant to say SHOUNEN series are for kids, as there are certainly Anime for older audiences. All snark aside, comparing them to "Great Movie or TV Series" still doesn't make sense. And while I understand Guyver is great for YOU (as it is for me, probably a lot more), understanding why it is not for other people is a healthy thing to know. As for what "you like about Guyver over other series"... Guyver does that "Not using you most powerful weapon right away" a lot as well. Granted, as someone who has mentioned earlier to never have read the manga fully, you will not know that it has happened a lot. WAY more times then they have ever done their most powerful attack right away. Plus, the Guyver is a series that has disposable mooks that can die in one hit very easily, but anytime they are fighting someone actually powerful, they still start off small before a big finish.

Why is Guyver so underrated
In most cases of Shounen series, Guyver does have a more in depth world set up. However, the problem with that, is for newer audiences who only pick up the series from a volume of random manga or an issue of Shounen Ace. See, the genius thing about these "retarded farts" ( as you put it) is that someone can pick up where a series is at, a lot quicker because of the way they do their story telling. They don't have to wade through years of reference material to get what is going on in the most recent arc. If they liked that arc, sure they can go back and read the old stuff. And if they want to see more of the arc they found, they are weekly series, and their curiosity is filled a lot quicker. In terms of manga entertainment, there is something to be said about "Quantity over Quality", and weekly series fill that need much, much easier. Let's be honest, the Guyver series has only 1 major thing working in its favor that others do not - Monster designs. Takaya is a master of making different and original monster designs. I am still shocked that he didn't stick to a major 5 or 6 designs like some others would have done. Almost every volume has at least 1, sometimes 5 or more. Plus Aptom and the Guyvers still look good despite their ages. And with Shounen series. since they are weekly things, and volumes come out a lot quicker, they are usually always easier to find and/or stocked by stores. Guyver is supposed to be a monthly series... But hasn't gone over 16 pages in years, and is most commonly a 10 page release. Most monthly series range from 20-30 pages a month, consistently. This adds up to a long while for a new volume to come out. To put it into a food metaphor, Shounen series are like fast food. Not the best quality, but still good/decent, fast and cheap to pick up. The Guyver is something like Caviar. Some people REALLY like it, while other don't even bother, and the availability isn't great and is extremely expensive for the little amount you get. So if someone offered the public 4 decent/good meals a month at a low price, that while it may not be every ones favorite thing, still provides the "nourishment" for entertainment they need... Then someone else offers them a cracker with Caviar on it once a month, but sometimes won't deliver the next month. Or the next. Which do you think the majority of the public would choose? *edit* I guess I should also note that primarily Anime is FOR KIDS. So really complex plots and characters are not required. So calling them "dumb" or "dumber" than some great TV series is fairly accurate. They are dumbed down for THEIR AUDIENCE. Shounen series are not clearly made for you or myself, and yet I find a few of them entertaining enough to watch. that's like compairing Steak to all the sugary treats I had around me as a kid. Completely different audiences.

Just a Simple Request Manga-Wise
There is none. And probably not one next month either.

Why is Guyver so underrated
Essentially, Guyver is an old series, and does not fit with the current extremes of Genre's that we have now. It lacks a lot of things that make current manga/anime popular, because of its more old fashioned style. I've always said, if the 2005 TV series, had been more like the old 12 part OAV and actually have been bloody and gore filled like other series today, it would probably have a better reputation. For the wrong reason of course, but it would be better known. But it didn't, and neither does the manga. And Takaya, with his random release schedule and low page counts, really does nothing for newer fans, and only pisses off older ones. Add all that together, with a plot that is not easy to follow if you don't start from the start, ( ie 32 volumes), makes a lot of people walk away. As a Guyver fan since 1996, I can tell you that while the Guyver is my favorite series, I am also fully aware of how great is also isn't, which is defined by many factors including the age of the story and how the creator himself handles it. Sure, once you start learning the lore and getting in deep with the plot, it is good, but that is sometimes too much of the current generation of anime fans. I mean, if you ask a lot of 30-ish anime fans if they remember "The Guyver", you will get a few responses, but mostly that they remember that really bloody version back near the beginning of the US Anime industry, because back then, there wasn't much to watch. I still figure the only reason the 2005 TV series was made, was because of ADV films, which was run by guys in their 30's who remembered the 12 part OAV (or at least the first 6 eps) and thought "Yeah! That was cool. We should reboot that!"... And it ended up costing them, a lot, as it was a failure.

Relative sizes of Guyvers, Zoanoids, etc
Yeah, there is some definite issues sometimes because of the way the heads and necks of some Zoanoids are handled. Enzyme 2's height is listed as 11'5 / 347cm tall... And while in this pic his one "arm" does reach that... I am betting it is probably supposed to be his back that reaches that size... But it also could be if he stretches his neck... We really have the same problem with Elegan, who is 10'3 / 312cm... But is that with is neck full extended etc... A lot of the time, I believe the official height uses the pictures provided for the height, and usually leave out things like horns and pods... So Enzyme 2 might be bigger than the provided picture. However, Guyot is that tall! He is listed at 10'2 / 310cm. Most of the Zoalords are huge in battle form. Even Alkanphel is 9'7 / 292cm ( from a 5'10 / 178cm body). And Guyot is only the second tallest in human form... If Galenos has a "normal" battle form, chances are, he will be much taller as well.

Relative sizes of Guyvers, Zoanoids, etc
There is a couple other ones from the Data File book and the books that came with the DVDs for the 2005 TV series... but this one, I believe Jess made years ago.

Super Robot Wars V
It's funny, for me, despite the fact I know I'd probably enjoy it still... Cast list is a big thing for me. That's why I own physical copies of SRW W and K for my DS. Loved the majority of the cast, and still have no translations. I'm still pondering this one... Part of me is still saying " DO IT. IT'LL BE IN ENGLISH YOU FOOL! DO EEEEEET!" But I guess I will have time to see how good a translation the OG Moon Dwellers gets. Maybe it'll be so bad I won't care. Or so good that it will be the tipping point.

Can A Guyver beat Archenfal?
Perhaps you are not aware of the Guyvers origins, but that answer is pretty simple. The "Control Unit" is a device that the Creators equipped on themselves as "regular equipment". The Bio-Boosting effect did not do much for them it seems. However, when they attempted to equip it on one of their "perfect weapons" aka a Human, it boosted them incredibly so much that it killed a modified T-Rex with no issue at all. And worst of all, they could no longer control it telepathically. They named this phenomenon "Guyver" or "Out of Control". The unit is not "Alive" and is a symboitic creature that requires a host and control medal to do anything of meaning. It cannot power itself up by itself. The Gigantic armor was created by Sho inadvertently when he was linked with the Relic ship from Mnt Minikami, and is not standard equipment. So using it from the get go would have been impossible because it did not exist. The creators probably could never imagine such a thing... And I mean, once they got it, Agito has been making good use out of it for a while. But no, a normal Guyver is far too under powered to outright take on a Zoalord. They might be able to get a good shot in, here and there... but not a fair fight. Judging by your questions, it really sounds like you have not read any of the manga... I suggest you google it... it is good stuff, and you can find 80-90% of it online for free.

The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
Because his Masters told him not to, because they wanted it back... And this is a very important part of the story. You see, up until this point, Alkanphel had been 100% loyal. When They told him to use the remover, and he argued, stating that he did not need it. This was the first time he ever talked back to them. Suddenly, he wasn't completely loyal. Mixed with the idea that more humans, or Alkanphel could use a unit, they up and left, trying to leave him behind, and destroying all their work.

female guyver figma control medal differences
There is an older OAV/Movie called "Out of Control" and it is an alternate timeline OAV where there is a woman inspector named "Valcuria" ( or Valkyrie depending on some translations) who got the damaged unit instead. The animation quality is pretty poor... As it was made only shortly after the Guyver was being published, and doesn't seem to have much of a budget. About the only thing it is notorious for is the bonding scene of Valcuria, as the unit get a little "tentacle rapey" (Where the Animation quality is oddly well done...) But as a Guyver fan, it is still worth watching, despite the quality and its original plot. As for the differences... The pink one is the manga version, and the Purple one is the OAV version... Which seems like her control medal isn't damaged, so good for her!

LONG time member wants to know what's happening with the releases
Most of the information about the scanlations can be found here: http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php?/forum/130-access-request-area/ Yes they are still ongoing. Yes the releases are still, infrequent, slow as hell and lacking in page count... But is still ongoing. The plot is picking up thankfully, and is still good overall... Guyver 3 is taking on the 2 remaining rogue Zoalords at the moment.

The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
I should clarify, I'm not a fan of theories without much information based around them, and I didn't know if you knew this information. Thus I tried to debunk the general idea you had, because while it could be true, the reasoning behind it, is not the best. That being said, a better counter argument to your theory would be: The 3 units we know, were found in Mnt Minikami in Japan. And where Guyver 0 appeared to be, was in Arizona, because the relic he damaged is the same one at the bottom of the Arizona base where Agito got his control spheres to make his Gigantic. Even if you factor in continental drift over the next few million years, they would be completely opposite sides of the world..

The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
Oh god no.There are probably millions of units throughout the Galaxy. Every single creator seemed to wear one. But the thing is, it was the "Guyver effect" that scared them to death. So much that they decided to throw a large moon at Earth to destroy it. Remember, a "Guyver Unit" is not actually a thing. It only "becomes Guyver" on a Bio-Boosted human. The unit itself was standard equipment for the creators... So if ONE human in a unit could do so much damage... What about 10? 100? 1000? More? This scared them so much that they abandoned and wanted to destroy the millions of years of research that they had been so proud of... Just so a single human could never become "Guyver" again.
-
The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
The unit does not have anything to do with changing the host. The host changes the unit. That being said, it is never fully said where this unit came from... And the fact that the Relic that had the units, had all 3, it's doubtful that they would be the same unit. Not impossible of course, but unlikely.

Guyver summoning.

The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
Good luck. That is going to be at least 5-10 years from now, as he's probably got at least another 5 books to go ( his fights take a looong time)... And sometimes it averages less than 1 book a year...

The Guyver Unit in the inactive state.
Part of the Unit itself. When Archanphel removes the unit from Guyver 0, it replaced the armored casing.

Hypothetical Worst Guyver Ending ?
Unknown so far. Shonen Ace comes out in the next few days. However, previously it was stated that the Guyver would be in last months issue, but was not... And in the back of that book, it never said " More guyver next month". So, we aren't expecting a chapter, but we HOPE there will be.

Why doesn't Sho avenge his father's death?
Oh I bet Sho would still hate Guyot. Only because Guyot has still shown to be such a bastard. He is truly evil. Balcus, and a few other Zoalords ( Like Shin and Purg'stall) have shown to not be total monsters since X-Day, and I don't think Sho can deny that they have done some great things for the world, despite it being a violent takeover. This is very much a case of "The ends justify the means". Yeah Chronos manipulated millions and killed more... But now the entire world is at peace, and doing better than ever. I've always thought that if he was approached by Chronos after Agito's betrayal, and they offered him a truce so that the Segawa's and friends might be able to return to their parents and possibly start a normal life... I think he would have taken it at this point. Now, unfortunately we know that the rogues would have got in the way anyway, as they are also intrigued by the units... So that incident probably might still have happened. Remember, other than following Agito, Sho has never been on the offensive. It's always been Chronos doing something to him first, and his reaction to it. It's only been very recently, once he found his spine/purpose, that he's stepping up... And even then, he made a truce with Chronos despite the fact that he could probably have easily killed Shin. I think the only thing Sho wants, is to return to a normal life... But as the unfortunate hero of the story, that is a long way off, if it ever happens.
