Funny how they ran from the big Q but calmly observed the giant sloth when the latter was much more likely to see them as snacks (recent findings suggest it was omnivorous).

Megatherium was a giant land sloth, native to South America. It has been believed that some native peoples actually kept them in caves, behind palissades, presumably to eat during wintertime. But it seems difficult to believe, considering their size and strength, especially since some scientists have come to think they were omnivorous, not strictly herbivorous, based on certain anatomical qualities (claws made for slashing. teeth more for softer stuff than leaves).

Cool; this looks like another "breather" chapter, but it's really cool that we're getting more of a view of Silha.

I love Mizuki's reactions and expressions in this chapter, she's just hilarious. XD

 

I like that the girls are getting a little more screen err panal time lately, Shizu's chapter was really cool and Mizuki really stoll this chapter for me plus it's nice to see her freaking out and just getting annoyed at all the weird stuff she's been through as it reminds me of how she was back in the beginning.

That may be, but I really hope Mizuki gets access to some kind of 'firepower', because right now she's just the cute one. Sho's the muscle, Tetsuro's the brains, Aso's the gruff veteran, Natsuki's the sensible action girl, Aptom's the scary one - Mizuki, even after all this time, is still just a girl in wayyyy over her head. Seriously, she must be more than his love interest and provider of nookie. If she is even that.

 

But she's not strong enough to wield a gun sufficiently powerful to harm a Zoanoid (like Mr.Murakami used to), she's no scientist and she also doesn't turn into a hulking fighting machine. I love her, of course, but tactically she is a major liability.

She's the "Hope" and along with Tetsuro, she's the reason Sho continues to fight to protect mankind. She's supposed to be weak, she represents the meak that those with power must protect.

I mean, I know he's just been revealed to be with Sho confronting Shin, but it wouldn't be inconceivable that some of his cells managed to travel with Apolloyn and have regenerated a copy by assimilating some of the creatures on Silha?

Pretty hairbrained I know, but it's an idea, lol

If that was the case wouldn't Aptom have mentioned something about it by know?  I mean Aptom and all of his parts have some telepathic link with one another like a legion or something, right?
