General 'whatever'.

Saw the movie last night and was impressed with what Wheldon did with the movie. He kept true to the charecters and even kept the orginal cast for the movie. The show IMHO was very good becuase he made the chacters real and put together a bunch of realistic people who everyone could identify with with. I like the drama and I do like how he tied up most of the loose ends from when the series was ended. But there was some things I wished he would explain about some chacters. I would advise everyone here to see this move and get the series box set.

Ok so I just got back from seeing this latest adpation of the Stephen King's novel. Befor I go any further I give the obligitory spoiler warrnings, as I wil be talking about both the film and its ties to the novel. However I will try not to give to much away at the same time. I had watched the mini series once and only read the novel this years so I am relitively detached from most of King's works bare some of the movie adaptions now and then over the years. I got to be a model maker and 2nd unit Director for James Taylor (he did the Beast Machines episode where Cheator takes over from Optimus, as well as Spiderman and Ninja Turtles). probably just saw the best movie all year and wasn't even at the cinema! just watched this on dvd, apparentely was released last year but only just saw it on the shelve at my local store. i love these japanese movies as most really know how to tell a great story with great history and this movie has a really great dramatic story(ladies, get the kleenex ready!) not a whole lot of action in this but was glued to the screen the whole way through(and no, it wasn't because i had to read the english subtitles because i'm a gaijin) to keep it short its set in 17th century japan and is about a lordless samurai who seeks to use a noble's court yard to honourably commit seppicu…
