Hey did any one know that Libertas is the Roman goddess of freedom. Maybe that's where the name came from for Agito's zoanoids?

http://lomion.de/cmm/img/bionoid.gif The bionoid doesn't only sound like it's a 90's action toy, it also looks like one: Muscular, insect-like, with natural blades and generally like a humanoid, but with more awesome. The bionoids were created by the elves during the First Unhuman War to help them against the space orcs. They don't breed directly, but lay eggs instead. Those eggs' essence is a crystal that, once touched by a humanoid, fuses with said humanoid and creates a new bionoid. The creature's alignment is changed to Neutral Good (including possible alignment change penalties). That doesn't work with orcs, by the war. If they touch the egg, it explodes into th…

There have been several incarnations of the guyver released, which are listed here in (roughy) chronological order - The Manga (ie, Comic) - created, written and drawn by Yoshiki Takaya. Currently published monthly (?) in the Shounen Ace magazine in Japan, several chapters are then reprinted into Graphic Novels by Kadowaka Comics, each weighing in at roughly 200 pages. These books are currently into their 21st volume. Many Volumes have been translated into Chinese and Italian, plus maybe other languages, but only 7 have been translated into English (by Viz Communications, who did a lame job of it, and who are now refusing to let go of the rights to the series so that a…

I'd like to ask the Advocacy something. What ever happened to all the old Guyver sites? Would it be alright to ask about the history of these early fan sites?

(If the people in charge want to create sticky topic and move this there then that's fine.) *deep breath* Anyway I've seen epsiodes Six and Seven of the Guyver Anime. *spoilers* Episode Six: The episode looks like it has quite a bit of character deveoplement in it. I especially liked the part when Tetsuro bowed and thanked Sho for resucing Mizuki from episode five and Sho was like "it's cool." But of course more importatly the battle of Guyver I vs. Enzyme. There is one thing I like about the climate for this battle. It's early in the mornign and there's a fog, it helps add a mood. Though I rather enjoyed the actually battle I felt a little disappointed about it. …

Yesterday to my supreme joy my Guyver books arrived in the mail. In stead of buying them when they came out I wanted to wait and get all three of them at once, and that was yet more torture but worh the wait. Since we don't have a Chuang Yi comic topic I'm creating this. For now I'll start off with book six. *spoilers* I certainly like the artwork more than the Viz version, I mean on that book we see a character that appears later in book 10 (nice spoiler Viz!) Barcus doesn't look too happy. This is kind of a retread of the first time I read book six last year (viz version), except of course the paper quality is better, the original sound effects are in, and translati…

In 2001 a rare Guyver Anime Production Cell was up for sale on ebay. What was really good about it was that this was signed by english voice actor Tom Charles. Well, I took a chance and bought it from a guy in NewYork. I waited two weeks for the air mail delivery, then a month, and then eight weeks. I started to get just a little anxious. A kit that I bought at about the same time also never arrived. It was a pity, the cell was never even seen again on ebay. It was permanently missing. Eventually I gave up. This became a lost treasure. A few days ago, my brother calls me up to talk about getting together for my birthday, and asks if I ever drew a picture of him …

The thing is pretty awesome! Very detailed indeed! It is about time that Max factory got around to making action figures out of the coolest sci-fi series around. I just hope that they make more. The Guyver III was just released this month so the amount in stock is plentiful. I say get it while it's hot. But get ready to dish out at least $44-$60 with shipping and all. Nevertheless, very cool indeed.

I just recently got my vol 1-3 translated Guyver books from that one place in Singapore. I like the look and the orginal manga feel to them and everything but I have some questions. There seems to be some unused or new art that was put into the books. I mean just look at the drawing of Guyver II. He no longer looks like a carbon copy of Guyver I. You can see the same with Zerebubute with his black chest plate. This has probably already been brung up before, if it has I apologize.

I really hope I'm not stirring up trouble with this topic and I tried looking back but I didn't see any other topics about this. I'm making a video game with Brolly and one of the things I'm trying to get right are the names. I really started thinking about this when I tried deciding what Zerebubuse/Zerbubuth/Zurubuth name should be. I was conviniced by Sully to change Lisker's name to Risker. And Zx-tole,Ex-tol, Zek-tor,Zex-tole is another one I'm really concerned about. All i'm tring to figure out is of all the diffrent ways to say the names which one is right or used most often? Zerebubuse or Zerebubuth? Zx-tole, Zek-tor ect. Darzerb, Durzerb,Darzurb.. Thancrus, Z…

I've just heard that Guyver is in another Language already! I was talking to a freind of mine today, and it hit me, 'how does he already know about guyver?' Well, apparently it's been on tv already back in Malaysia where he comes from. He then kinda preceded to tell me all about Malaysian dub quality... all anime done in Malay is acted out by four people: -a young man -a ditzy girl -a little kid -and an older gentlmen These four people play every charactor in every series in the county (and we thought we had it bad). He also points out that, well, they don't always act. And if you're worrying about the translation, don't. The translators don't even need to know…

Well? Tell us why you want it released aswell. As for me, I'd like a Zx-Tole figure (Classic or Neo, not really fussed). It'd be so cool if they made one that could transform into the his "fully open" mode like the model kits.
