Matt Bellamy Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 New info! http://www.maxfactory.jp/guyver_3.htm Roughly translated: Guyver 3 price: 4800 Yen (classified by tax) PVC & ABS make paint assembly being completed action figure size: Total height 19. 5cm prototype production: The MAX factory movable examination section So it's not 1/6 like we original thought, but then, it's WAY cheaper than I predicted as well. $58.91 Canadian $44.05 American I am SO getting this even more now. GuyverXenon Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 I'd be with you on that one Matt but unfortunately I have never ordered anything off the net and am not sure how to order this one. If you or anyone could tell me how to order that exact model I'd be very appreciative of it. Quote

If you or anyone could tell me how to order that exact model I'd be very appreciative of it. I get it through a local import store. He handles everything. And just a note, I ran the whoel page through Babelfish... "Tearing long silence, the guy bar series finally revival! Feature "guy bar 3" is the series 1st!" Looks like MORE Guyver stuff is coming. I guess it's really back to having caught on in Japan, and Max Factory is jumping on the Bandwagon. This btw = GREAT news! Quote
Guest Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 This has to be the grooviest news I've been informed of which pertains to the Guyver in a very long time! I figured out that the figure's gonna be 7.677 inches-- an actual toy of the Guyver has finally be released! This is so awesome-- good job, Matt! But actually purchasing the toy from the website might be a little bit difficault, and where I'm from; there's no way that I'll be getting my hands on anything like that for a long time-- effing crap towns! >.< Quote
Guest Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Why can't I ever have money when great figures/model kits are descovered!? Anyways, Matt, you are very lucky to have bought that. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 *gasp* I can enact out my own guyver battles now! Of course at $44 a pop, it's expensive to collect 'em, especially multiples for play fighting. Quote
Guest Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Baaaaah! I've just discovered some pretty crudy news, boys! It's apparent that this Guyver figure isn't set out till April, and they've yet set a date for more awesome Guyvah figurines! But hopefully it won't be too long till they start mass producing those bitches, and off to the hobby shops they'll be! Yaaaaay! Quote

But hopefully it won't be too long till they start mass producing those *******, and off to the hobby shops they'll be! Yaaaaay! Yeah, the April release date is a bit far away, but IMO, WELL worth the wait. And swear again, and you will be striked. Quote
Guyver's bane Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 I never have the money to buy them when they come out, but in fact, where could I find them. Ya know? Quote
Guest Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Bane, I sent an e-mail to sasuga books regarding the availability of the toy through them, so if I get an answer from them, and it's relatively approving, then you'll also be able to order the figure through their store. Matt, quite sorry about the language, excuse my lingo, and you're quite right about the wait-- if we can wait several years for something like this to manifest, then I'm sure we can wait another month or two for some more! Guest Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 I cannot wait to get this figure! I've always wanted a cool Guyver action figure and had always hoped McFarlane Toys would have released one in their animae line. I hope Max Factory makes Guyver I as well as all of the main characters from the series (books & animae). Has anyone heard of other Guyver figures Max Factory is planning? Regardless of price, I'm buying 2... One sealed & one display. (I better start saving $$$) Quote
Guest Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 Check out these images! I hope they release Guyver I next! http://www.maxfactory.jp/guyver_album_main.htm Quote

Matt Bellamy Posted March 25, 2004 Author Posted March 25, 2004 Minor pics update... they've added the view of the stand it comes with... a pic of all it's parts laid out... (although it comes assembled of course) and the box, which clearly shows a " Max Factory 01" on it http://www.maxfactory.jp/guyver_3.htm#guyver_stand Quote

Matt Bellamy Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 As I posted in the general figure sticky post, Guyver 3 now has an offcial release date of April 29th. I was hoping for the middle of the month, but this give me plenty of time to save up after I became broke due to buying my laptop. Quote
guyverfanatic Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I saw it on Ebay for $80! Waaaay too much to spend on a model. Quote
Mutronics Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I saw it on Ebay for $80! Waaaay too much to spend on a model. Depends on the model. I'm willing to pay up to $200 or more to anyone willing to sell a Resin Kit of Anubis from Zone of the Enders. Quote
Matt Bellamy Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 I saw it on Ebay for $80! Waaaay too much to spend on a model. Not a model, but a super posable figure. And considering it's size, quality, and "rarity", I would say $80 isn't bad... however since Max factory's site lists it at $44 US, I'd say it's a bit of a rip off. Quote
Guyver's bane Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I found it on ebay for $69.99 Ten bucks cheaper now I guess. Quote

Yeah, it still is a rip off, i'll probably buy it off of hlj.com when I have some money. Quote
