Guyver

You know. I'm thinking maybe zoalords had something to do with religion in society in Guyver. Not that its mentioned. But lets say if Christianity and other religions existed in Guyver. Would it have something to do with Alkanphel? I figured its only natural for him to play as a deity and tell humans what to do seeing as they weren't zoanoids and they came to worship him. They would see him as god or as a god. After all. The zoanoids worshiped him so much that they built a temple around him. So I'm just thinking. Maybe he went around and started a bunch of religions with humanity before going into hibernation and after he made his fellow zoalords who probably went around …

So our experiment today is to see what happens when you take a fully functioning, brand new one of these..... ..and attach it to a powerful host who suffers from savoir mental illness and disability such as our subject here. How would the guyver or more specifically the control metal react to being bonded to an individual with such significant cognitive impairment and psychotic tendencies like Leatherface?

Ok so this is a little match up between a normal Guyver, we'll as Sho, and SCP-076-2, referred to as Able. SCP-076-2 is a Keter class SCP. This means he his very difficult to contain and highly dangerous to everyone he comes into contact with. I'll provide a copy of his data file. Item #: SCP-076 Object Class: Keter Special Containment Procedures: Containment Area 25b is to be located 200 m below sea level, tunneled out of solid bedrock in a seismologically stable area. Sole access to the containment facility is to be through a vertical elevator shaft separated every fifty (50) meters with a reinforced blast door, constructed of 20 cm thick …

Hi Folks, I've been following this forum for a while and absolutely love it! As a fellow long term Guyver fan, I thought I'd share with you, what appears to be Guyver playing cards that I've managed to collect, some of which I picked up with the old Max factory BFC pre-painted vinyl model kits, that required assembly. Is anyone else in possession of such cards?

I was wondering how does the control medal restore its host's memories? I mean twice, Sho has been completely obliterated except for the CM and during his fight with his father(Enzyme II) who had ripped Sho's head apart; how would the Guyver restore memory? Would it be because the CM is directly connected to the brain and is able to log those memories? The reason I ask is that I just recently re-watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine; and at the end when he is shot in the head and his body regenerates the damage, but not his memory.

Okay, you know in Dark Hero where he get's knocked out and tied to a cot? I didn't get that part. Why don't I get it? Well, here's what I'm thinking. Didn't Krane and his happy band of gang bangers realize that once he wakes up long before they take their sweet time to get him to Kronos headquarters that he would activate the unit and kill them all? Did they think about that? Obviously not. When they gave him the sedative, they should have taken him immediately and kept him sedated instead of holding him at the camp. Instead they did neither of those things. If they were really serious, they should have sedated him and than killed him in his hu…

Well instead of posting a whole new topic I'll just ask my questions here. How exactly did the lighting Zoalord die (Purgstall or whatever his name is)? All I remember is that sho (using the gigantic armor) had this drawn out fight with him and then Purgstall starts holding his side like he is cramping. Next thing you know he has this chest bursting wound. My other question is; just how powerful are the libirtus zoniods? I mean they have zoniod level strenght in human form. And as far as Shizu (Grisilda), what are her powers? She seems to be some kind of controller. Which would make sense given her Zoalord form, but I am sure she must be able to do more than watch over th…

I made a Guyver-fan bingo test (thanks Yuki for help). Open it in any graphics editor (like MS Paint), tick the boxes, save result and post it here. I'll post my results later.

Cash has gotten super tight after moving out on my own and my beloved BFC figures haven't had the display time they richly deserve. So I'm selling up.

What do you think is a fair price for these; you guys get first dibs before I put them up on ebay. All figures have been displayed, but in near mint condition. Non of the figures come with their stands (lost them in the move), but with all the other accessories.

Guyver 3 w/ black blades (box has yellowed): --- SOLD
Aptom: --- SOLD
Guyver 2 --- SOLD
Guyver 1: --- SOLD
Neo Zxtole --- SOLD
Guyver Giga…

At what point do you think Chronos developed the modern processing tank, and how were zoa-forms processed prior to the modern era? As far as we know, Guyot was the only Zoalord shown to be processed in a modern processing tank, but all the other zoalords are hundreds of years old, what were they processed in? Archanfel I presume was processed in a pod, like the one in the left over relic on the island of silha, but since these pods only existed there and only Archanfel, barcus and imakarurm know of the island, again, how and where were the other lords processed?

Recently I've been trying to get people who frequent Reddit into watching / reading Guyver and most have never heard of it. Now the 2005 series might have helped its popularity a little or the fact that there are still models and figures floating around, but it really hurts a manga's popularity when you can't find it on the shelf somewhere. Both Guyver and Berserk came out around the same time, and yet Berserk is actually still popular, dare I say mainstream. Every time you go to Barnes & Noble or any other bookstore, there it is on the shelf. Everybody I talk to knows what Berserk is, but nobody knows what Guyver is. So I'm thinking part of the problem with Guyv…

If you had a choice, which would you be and why? 'Both' sadly isn't an option.

So, did the mama ever touch upon how long it takes to process a human into a zoanoid/hyper zoanoid? As disposable as they seem when up against a guyver, there must be considerable time/effort in the process. Any thoughts?

So. The last great Guyver media was back in 2005-2007. It's 2016 and I'd really like to see another reboot anime version that actually goes along with the manga and has a few seasons. The 2005 version was short and sweet ending too quickly leaving us wanting more. Unfortunately at this point I'm sure we're all hoping here. But perhaps 2005 was the last we've soon. More or less. Anyway. Who here checks every now and than to see if some Japanese studio has or thought about working on this old classic?

Just came across this on eBay.... if only I had the cash (and an understanding girlfriend!) Even signed by Steve Wang eBay link

ok guys,im excited ive just stumbled across this forum. i though the comic ended at the appearence or apollo andthe re appearence of guyot.am i correct in assuming there has been more? i would love to get in on this action if so.

So, I'm going over G2:Dark Hero piece by piece. He's constantly nagging at Corey's head over things he already knows and he's pissing her off in the process. Sean has nothing to lose, so I don't know why he keeps playing stupid and asking for intel in which he already knows about from the first film. It almost seems as though the screen writers had no idea what kind of conversation Sean and Corey should have. What is silly is that he keeps pushing Corey over dumb questions about zoanoid skeletons and even more questions as of why her crew is secret about it and they have given him good reasons why they don't talk about it. They honestly don't know what they're looking at,…

I'm not sure. But does it take 5 seconds for the megasmasher to fire?

I've known Guyver for a lot of time. Since I live in a third-world country, it's really difficult for me to get Guyver stuff. Now that I can pay for them, I've ordered the Guyver DVDs. Still, manga is quite difficult to get and you're lucky if you find numbers of Viz Comics at local comic stores. So, I was wondering if there's a document that can update me about what happens after what the anime depicts. And the changes between the manga and the anime. And no, I don't have a credit card.

I'm just wondering why Valkyria took a prototype G unit and turned on her employers. I mean, her reasons to me are completely unknown. But it seems like her intentions are like Agito's. Maybe she felt trapped by Chronos....wanted a way out maybe? So she saw an opportunity present itself and thus took it? But wait. Why was she so quick to jump in bed with Guyot? Maybe he lied to her?

#6 - VIZ - Destuctive! - Chuang Yi - The Destuction of Chronos Japan - Advocacy - Big Turnaround! Destruction of Cronos Japan! Sho rejuvinates and saves Tetsuro - awesome!! Guyot divulges information on the creators and Cronos' plans to bend humanitys destiny to its own will for world wide domination and the fact that humans were developed as weapons and are the basis for the next step in evolution - the zoanoid. Translation differences : while all 3 explanations are slightly different they basically say the same thing, the main difference is the name of the aliens... Viz - Creators Chuang Yi - Creators Advocacy - Advents Advocacy, if this has been explaine…

Having just picked up The Guyver Complete Box Set on Blu-Ray, I've been on a Guyver kick lately. I used to pick up the VHS tapes back in FYE, when they were once outrageously priced. Being on a Guyver frenzy, I've recently picked up some Guyver vinyl model kits pretty cheap off of eBay from the Elfin models line (got Guyver and Vamore). Guyver: http://media.photobucket.com/image/guyver%20elfin%20model%20kit/AzureDragon27/Guyver/2011_0917QuadTiltRotor0001.jpg Vamore: http://i7.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/fc/56/032b_2.JPG Anyone own any of these? I'll post some pics when I finish building and painting them. I think I'm going to do a little diorama. Also I just found a sc…

w00t! I just got my copy of it today! I am quite satisfied with it. Tetsuro's and Mizuki's last were finally corrected to Segawa, instead of Sekawa. There are 2 typos, but those are forgiveable. Anybody get it too?
