  1. First full trailer is up! Things happen! Stuff confirmed!
  2. All 17 (ok 11 original with 6 recolors) are finally up! I have have more being worked on! This isn't stopping anytime soon it seems.
  3. To be honest, in the past, I usually had 3 sizes of pictures, which usually turned into 4 sizes. 1. Working size - Only seen by me, usually quite big. Much bigger than in the early days. 2. Staff size - Usually only for the WG.com staff. Smaller than the working size. About 75% 3. Site size - Smaller than the Staff size, usually 50-60%. Most likely originally because of file size/loading of older sites and times. 4. Data File size - Small. However, Brian hasn't shrunk any of the pics since we've returned, so all the new pics are at the normal Staff size, and since file size and loading speeds aren't much of an issue no more, it really doesn't matter.
  4. Some of it made it up today! Be sure to pay attention to the Gen and Human forces. Tomorrow: More! Because old people need sleep!
  5. A synopsis has been released for Civil War: As well as a breakdown of the trailer, with comments by the Russo's As well as a breakdown of the trailer, with comments by the Russo's... http://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/captain-america-civil-war-trailer-breakdown/ ...Which after all that reading, still seems like they are definitely changing aspects of it, but the core of Civil War is still there. But so far, there doesn't seem to be any villains joining either side... Which was a thing I hated in the comics.
  6. I know I did... Iron man has always been my favorite character, even before the movies... And sure, he and Steve have not always seen 100% eye to eye, but they were friends... before Civil War in the comics anyway. Movie versions though, still had that bit of repitiore, and it did hurt to see Steve say something like that, even if we know that, if Tony were in a similar bind, he would do it for him too... but definitely in the contxt of the scene... yeah. Damn.
  7. If I had to guess, I would say that this trailer is probably a bit of a misdirection. They really make it look like it's focused on Bucky/Winter Soldier... But we still haven't seen all the players yet... Like Martin Freeman's character, or even Ant-Man. My guess is that Bucky is/may be important (as an International War Crininal), but isn't the plot itself. I have to say though... The Black Panther suit looks pretty great. As does the new armors for both Stark and Rhodey. *Edit* Ok, Martin Freeman's character appears ever so briefly in one scene. But barely noticable if you're not going frame by frame.
  8. I have a feeling that Archanphel isn't in control of the situation. Considering all that we have read abut the more recent hibernation's he's had to take, i would bet that he either doesn't want to use any of his powers, or possibly he can't. The last time Apollyon was at the island, we see Archanphel look at him, and it wasn't a... positive look. Like he isn't quite happy with what Apollyon is doing... but there doesn't seem to be anything he can really do about it.
  9. I tend to use both pencil and paper and Photoshop with my tablet. For general sketching and designing, I usually find it easier to stick with sharpen-able pencil (4H) and paper (Sketchbook with a heavier style of paper). If I ever need to make lines sharper, I'll use a .5 HB mechanical pencil. when I used to ink things on paper, I had various sizes of Staedtler pigment liner pens. I never color anything on paper. When drawing on my PC, I use Photoshop and my Wacom Intuos 3, 9x12 tablet. I've been told there are better programs for what I do... But I am so used to it, I don't bother switching. And occasionally I will tend to doodle with just about anything available, usually when I am bored at work.
  10. I suppose it is a bit of a plus then, that he is killing off the Zoalords... But introducing Female Guyver 2, re-introducing Guyot, and Apollyon ( if he is indeed a different character) certainly does seem like a bit of padding. Though Guyot as the "End Boss" would be pretty fitting. I would hope that he would have the rest of the series planned out on paper, so that if something DID happen to him, that someone might be able to either continue and/or release it for the public.
  11. Definitely unofficial, and looking at the joints and everything, it's basically just an up-scaled version of the Max Factory figure. Naturally I'd warn everyone about possible quality issues (Hot Toys still have them too), and no doubt cheap materials... The Guyver fandom is notorious for bootleg merchandise... And frankly, we'll take what we can get a lot of the time. If I was still in my collecting days, I would seriously consider this... Even if I had to remove a shelf from my glass shelving units in order to stand him.
  12. Unknown... Probably in a box in storage somewhere... Or given to an employee/Takaya...
  13. I think that was more to do with not knowing than anything else. Both Sho and Agito had had their guyvers for just as long as he had and he must have seen Sho's combat data against Zerbebuth and the sound hyper zoanoids. Yet he never manifests these abilities which leads me to think that because his control melat was damaged it never gave him access to those weapons. I believe that you are simply over thinking the issue, without there being any actual evidence to support it. The "Master File" books that came with the DVDs state that he has the same weapons as Guyver 1 and that the control medal caused "Considerable Functional Instability". Besides all that, we don't see Sho or Agito use all of their powers all the time... And the only time Sho wasn't able to use any of his powers, was the Megasmasher, which was soon after he fired a full powered shot of it.
  14. With the examples provided, you are seemingly looking for the newest popular Shonen series with swords and fighting, and not really a typical "Fantasy" series ( sword and sorcery)... But, I do have a few to offer up: Nanatsu No Taizai - The Seven Deadly Sins - Season 1 of the anime is complete, and it caught a bit too much up to the Anime, so it just stopped for now. The manga is still on going and is pretty fun. This might be the closest thing you are looking for. Arslan Senki - Heroic Legend of Arslan - Based on the newest manga, and despite some animation quality issues ( Rumors that the Blu Ray releases will be a lot better), it's a pretty great story still. Though quite serious with some light hearted moments to... But most serious. Season 1 is complete. Garo The Animation - NOT The Crimson Moon (newest and incomplete). A good mixture of some dark and lightheartedness. You don't need to know anything about the Garo toku series as it is set in medieval times. Overlord - Another "Player gets stuck in a game" with a few twists. It's a power fantasy series, with some action and humor. I quite enjoyed it, as it doesn't take itself too seriously. Season 1 is complete. Sword Art Online - Seasons 1 and 2 complete ( movie coming). The series that made the "Stuck in a Game" too popular... Takes itself a little too seriously sometimes, but the first 2 story arcs are pretty good. Log Horizon - season 1 and 2 complete. Another "Stuck in a Game" series... But done much better than others. Quite a bit more humorous and isn't as serious as SAO. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - Not your typical good vs bad series, and a little older (though not too old). Season 1 is complete. As a note, any of the series that I mentioned "Season 1", none of them have had (as of this post) any season 2's announced yet... But seemed awfully popular and have more material to pull from, so a second season is a possibility... But their current story arcs are at a "complete" state.
  15. If you mean Reconguista in G and Gundam AGE... You partially right. Gundam AGE was mostly mediocre to good until the last 10 episodes or so... They really ruined it beyond saving at that point. Though Reconguista in G was garbage in my opinion. It's funny though, we got 2 series about kids playing with Gundam model kits, and they were actually really fun ( well season 1 is pretty great overall, while season 2 has its moments of greatness) Though thankfully unlike Gundam Unicorn and Gundam The Origin, Iron Blooded Orphans is a separate universe, so watching any previous Gundam doesn't matter.
  16. Hard to say. He is pretty godly with his piloting even in space as we saw in episode 5. I kind of found it a little odd how fast they went into space... But since the series is only scheduled for 24 eps, I guess it isn't that bad. I suppose this is a bit of a test to see if a 24 ep Gundam series would turn out better than a 50 ep series... They really can't afford any filler. They just have to try and balance the Quality/Quantity ratio... Since some filler is needed, and too fast of a speed can be jarring and ruin it. But other than going to space too quickly, Episode 5 was pretty awesome. It's going quite well in my opinion.
  17. Looks to be VF-31 "Sigfried" vs Sv-26 "Draken III" with a group of idols this time. Though, apparently it was said that despite the VF-31's all being a different color and such, and the promo images have the idols with them, that the Idols are not piloting them.
  18. I am guessing that a bunch, of the Guyvers weapons would work great on it, since they involve complete destruction, not just ballistic or physical damage. Head beam - Since it's extreme heat based, it might have some effect like those lasers temporarily did... But not much. HF Swords - Might not be all that great, but the HF nature might still damage the connecting parts... And especialy since it does still seem to react to damage, so even if to just stun it they'd be useful. Sonic Busters - Would possibly be able to atomize its material to nothing. Pressure Cannon - Considering it tends to utterly destroy anything in it's path ( and not just push/rip it's way through like a bullet) I'd say it'd do damage and actually take a chunk of material. Mega Smashers - Dead and dead.
  19. When I got my new PC, it has Windows 8 installed, and I hated it. Windows 10 fixed that, and I have not had any problems with anything on it thankfully.
  20. It's pretty much a smaller version of the Max Factory figure... But with years of Figma technology improving the basics of the figure ( though, as with all figures, there are always some figures with manufacturing errors/issues). The biggest difference is the chest plates. It has 2 removable ones. One that opens, similar to the max factory figure, but looks a bit awkward when not posing with an open mega smasher... So they included a closed version, which looks better when not using a mega smasher pose. It's essentially a better figure overall... But smaller. Though interesting to note, it is almost perfectly in scale to the Max Factory Gigantic figure. That sounds very awesome! Thanks! The problem I had was with my Max Factory Guyver Gigantic Dark. It broke in half when I barely lifted it by the waste to dust it off. I applied no pressure or strain. It just snapped like a twig for no reason. I've been very cautious about buying any ore Guyver figures since then. The Max Factory figures were notorious for breaking to be sure. Lots of complaints about any and all joints.
  21. 3 episodes are now out. And it continues to be something that I want to watch more of. Also helps that I like the mecha designs too.

  23. You're thinking Volume 5, when Sho has lost the ability to call the Guyver. This scene was from volume 26.
  24. 17 years ago today, I officially joined Brian O'Sullivan in making a dual fan-fiction based in the same world. When I joined, we did a small collaboration picture of our two characters together... And since we are back, and updating the site, we figured we'd do a new one to celebrate. That's right... All the way back in 1998. I've been doing this off and on for 17 years. Scary. *Note* Brian did start the Warrior Guyver fanfiction site before this specific date, but this one is related to the pic in question.
