I have to admit, I'm having fun with the GWOTG rewrite. There were elements of the Comic that have since happened that can now be applied to Allen's old fiction to bring it up to date. Along with that I've and idea for the Creator Saga that will play around with things a little more than we'd a chance to in the past. I've long since had a good alternative reality story that not only help better links the GWOTG universe with that of the WG Universe but would also go more into Greg and Ira's history. So there will be at least 1 totally new story in the Creator Saga.

The only problem I've with it is by changing it so their is "no boost dimension" you've effectively nerfed the Guyver. This is why I'd not go too far into "Amercian'ising" the tech of the story as you'll end up with more explaining than writing. All Guyvers defectively have a power link to the Boost Dimension through their gravity controller and that is where they get a lot of their power from so they go way beyond that of a normal zoanoid. Chronos wasn't their public arm, it's Max Pharmaceuticals (which was used in the movies too). Guyver Units don't grow old, the Control medal didn't magic up a 3rd layer of a control medal it got it from the Relic. If you're going to change things around, use the Utah Relic. If it was actually sent back to the "Creators" we'd all be dead as they'd realise they messed up and we'd have another planetiod about to drop on our heads. Aside from that it's an interesting idea.

Personally I believe we live in "Generation Snowflake" where people genuinely believe that if I say something that offends them I should be sorry for offending them. Not just that but if I am viewed to be racist that my view should not only be condemned but it should get me time in jail. I think that is bullshit, and in the end hides the real issues in the world.

you have to bare in mind how I work when looking at a Fan-Fiction and the comics. It could be argued that as the 12 Zoalords (Don't forget Imakarum) were created and got going the weaker Alkanphel has become. I believe that the discharge that was used to regenerate Imakarum in the comics was really meant for Alkanphel which is why I think Apolloyn is a supercharged Imakarum. Anyway back to the fan-fic. In Great War if you read it (this isn't a spoiler as it's there on the old site in what Allen wrote) Alkanphel has done a LOT more than just try and make the 12. He has tried a number of times to make his replacement. There are 2 beings that especially stand out. In the re-write though and from here it's a bit of a spoiler........................... Spoiler............................. Imakarum was meant to be the villain of the Chronos Saga to me, but he never quite was that what he should be due to what Allen and I knew back then.... Remember Gigantics were 2x! Zoalords must also be 2x and there was W'Kar at 18x''ish. Sooo in the rewrite the reason why each starting story has a starting off short story featuring Imakarum is to show his growth as a character and what he became and ultimately changed too. Bare in mind another thing, Alkanphel of the GWOTG has being active a HELL of a long time and has being fighting Guyvers since the Creators 2nd great experiment on Earth (the one W'Kar the Creator failed to solve leaving the mess of the Guyvers for Alkanphel to clean up!). In this Universe (GWOTG) by the time Chronos is finally made which started the same way as in the comics (a lowly human discovering Alkanphel's resting place) Alkanphel has looking for someone to replace him. The first was Imakarum! So this Imakarum the one of the rewrite is a hell of a lot more than what you saw in the comic that first faced the Gigantic.

Note, timeline wise this flash back is before Ark Attacks. Edit: I forgot to add, Imakarum of the GWOTG will be getting supporting Artwork when this story is ready to go up. Read carefully one line up there, the s is not a typo!

The idea is to give the story a more Saga based focus and build up the story around each Saga. When reading the Chronos Saga I found that it wasn't Chronos focused enough (which isn't surprising considering what we didn't know back then + Allen was quite young when he wrote it). So the re-write will basically be pushing more story into each one of Allen's shorts. Which is handy in that you can get the fics out quicker as my average WG fic are like 6 to 10 times bigger. Note XT fic's aren't being cut, in the re-write they will merge into their respective Saga's time line wise. NOTE some stories and characters will either be cut / changed (e.g. different Units on an already existing character) or have their origin changed.

I call bullshit to the idea Archanfel is "powerless". He wasn't powerless when he awoke to Balcus. I think the problem is more mental that physical. To power the Ark and get his "revenge" on those that created him old Archanfel has put a shit ton of work and personal sacrifice into getting Chronos off the ground. It's being repeated numerous times the need of the 12 to power and command the Ark properly. Now he's faced with a sitation where possibly Imakarum / Apolloyn has possibly used the Zoalord Crystals he grew (the ones captured at the Ark) to regenerate Archanfel. So in saving his "master" he effectively doomed his dreams. What we see now is a moapy teenager having to get over his dreams being crushed.

There I was thinking you were gone and no longer were interested in the site / project Back then not much was posted on the site any more and while I was active in trying to get the Rewrite going there wasn't much site work at the time as I was involved in a heavy duty update to get the WG-Fic site working again. Picking up doesn't really discribe what we're up to at the moment.... Strangely your former site is about to get it's biggest update in like 15 years very soon. Your account should be working now. One of the nice things about doing the re-write is I can make this clearer were it concerns XT. Dpending on his schedule Mike will also be inputting into this so how the character was handled in the GWOTG story itself when Allen was using the character will also be changed and not just a case of "Hello, I beat you up now as you're powerful!".

Sean was lacking in common sense in the first movie.... Hes just continuing on as the character was designed.

Two bits of good news for the site. 1) the GWOTG is catching speed and the development has meant some nice changings incoming to the WG-Fic in the future. We've the makings of a very nice update coming together but to post it at this stage wouldn't be right. Simply put when it goes up it'll show just what we've being up to and so quite lately. 2) My brand new graphics tablet arrived today. All my old artwork was done via a mouse. It'll take some getting used to and some training but there will be new art coming from me. This will help with both the WG fic and the GWOTG content. Here's a little spoiler, I'd not be working on the GWOTG stuff unless it helped the WG fic. So this work for those that have never liked that story but only the WG fiction it will not be for nothing, there will be some very cool things happening and of course all my next work will not just be purely in re-writing GWOTG.

It is Li'sBlate technique. Which is very cool for a number of reasons. 1) Apollyon when he went up against Carleon copied his "super" ability in battle and used it against him. Carleon said at the time basically only he and one other zoalord had this ability. 2) Apollyon used Li's ability without ever seeing it before showing that even if Carleon was never to face him he didn't juse copy that ability. What this means to me is that basically Apollyon's abilities are that of all the zoalords and that much like the other zoalords they all come from one being. I personal think he is Imakarum and that from the beginning he has shown to be more than just a Gravity Zoalord that Guyot was. That since being hit by the energy from the Ark he has being super charged. Why he's going Apollyon and going strage is also something simular that happened to Agito after seeing the world almost destroyed. I think they might be something more to that part of the story that Takaya hasn't shared yet.

There will be more Themes. At the moment we've the Red and the default Blue. I'll have a look around once the Japanese text is fixed to see if I can find any more. Nice thing about Theme's are you can have different Japan Legend logos on different ones. So yeah I want to use more to use more of the historic logos from Japan Legend / Theguyver.Net.

For Aptom to "evolve" he really needs a true Zoa-Crystal. Not impossible though, if he attacked a weakened Zoalord and removed its zoa-crystal then absorbed his left over body he'd basically be a super being. Caerlon's body better be sealed away somewhere safe or incinerated

I've nerver read the comic, but so far the series is interesting. The first episode was a little cluttered with many plots all over the place though for me, but hopefully that will build up nicely and start making more sense as it goes along.

I'm guessing it's an old rare kit, pre-Max Factory. There are 2 reasons I say this, 1 is because it's getting a bit of a bidding war going and 2 Doesn't look artistically anything like the stuff Max has done.

There is no "Adult" section on this chat board other than the Guyver adult pics area. As Matt said that is passworded and isn't open to general access, but even there I'd expect people to have some common sense and not be too creepy. But anyone complaining about that section not being work safe... well it's pass-worded for a reason. But that area of the board is Guyver related content only. Creepy is when you approach a topic that really we don't want to be talking about on a public board. Again "common sense" is the approach we take now. You can argue some people have good common sense and others don't but simply put talking about things like Children's programs and actors having / had / didn't do is getting into a dodgy topic and a theme that will only end bady. In that regards I've no need nor want to have an area of the board were people talk "Hentai", if that is what you're into I'm sure there are other.... places you can go and don't need me telling you how to get there. This is a Guyver / Sentai board. While the topic was Sentai related (Power Rangers) it was a topic that was rumor and of poor taste and possibly slanderous to the two people (actors) that it was subject of. If it was a topic that came from the actual show (e.g. what Enzyme Apotom done to Mizuki) that would be totally different. Again how Matt put it, being mature about it helps. What Matt said too about dragging this into the public, not cool Mercer. But we'll leave this as it is, a learning lesson.
