Anything from old Wonderfest's tend to go for crazy cash and that is a REALLY old one to make it worse. All I know is after years spent looking at ebay and Yahoo JP I've seen the original of that once and didn't have the money at the time to go after it.

Pretty much anything anime made since 2005 has sucked. The only thing I've semi enjoyed is Parasyte Ex Maximum and that in the end feels like Guyver in a way but is just different enough to pull it off.

Watched it last Friday, I felt it was good and entertaining and overall was a better story than Man of Steel but felt like it dragged at times. What was important to me was that I never felt like I wasted my money watching it.

After this weekend I'd be interested in having a go. But first I need to earn it and get this site updated!

RL has being interesting the last few weekends. Between the new season of Daredevil and Batman V Superman and me getting older (birthday) 2 weeks ago and it being Paddy's day 2 weeks ago too it's being a very entertaining time but unfortunately also time for me being away from the site. This weekend though I hopefully will have the time to put the work into Japan Legend and get the old comic sections up on the board and info pages up and running on how to get scanlations. There will be some moving about of stuff and access so don't panic if you suddenly log in to have lost access to something. If after the weekend though and you still don't have access to something you should please post about it in the new Scanlation section of the board that will be going up. Note some post and locked threads will also move as a result of this weekends work.

I remember reading about it years ago, if I recall correctly it is from one of the old Japanese Wonder Fests and was released WAY back 20 odd years ago as an exclusive. I have the recast, it's going to require a lot of work to make it look good and most likely a hair transplant from a doll as the "hair" you're given with the model is shite.

I wish I'd the money for it, as the detail looks amazing. But I don't.

Book 32 is still being worked on. What went up was chapter 1 of what will eventually become book 33.
-
FYI the scanlation for this will be going up tonight. Giff your book holders

RL has had me crazy busy lately but tonight JL will be getting some love in preparation of book 32's release. Tonight the first chapter of Book 33 will go up which will be the last people will get access to unless you've vault access. Over the next week or so the websites scalation system / rules will be finalized and the messageboard will once again have public view-able sections.

My sister has lived in Japan 18 odd years. She can speak it so well Japanese people don't know she's Irish and think she's Japanese on the phone. In saying that she still has trouble reading the more complex version of Japanese writing. For a European it is probably one of the harder if not hardest to learn due to it having nothing similar to what we are used to. But it's not impossible, just hard. The more you work at it the better. But it would be probably best to hang out with others who speak it or make some friends in Japan that you can Skype and practice with. Trying to learn an any language by yourself is a lot harder.

Amazon.co.jp has an option to order in English. I've bought books from them to Ireland with no issues at all. A single book cost in the end about 12 Euro shipped.

great work Chris! Would you mind if I added it to our Fan-Art section?

I spent last weekend building a new PC for myself which meant the computer I normally do all my work on was out of commission the whole weekend Good news is that the new PC is finished, is much more powerful than the old PC and will lead in time to much cooler stuff for the sites I manage. Though at the moment it cost a fortune just to get the basics of a PC I wanted.... Will be a few months before I recover from that shock to the finances but it'll be worth it in the end. This weekend will be a mix of fixes and getting to work on JL, we're getting close to a release of a book

Thanks to a busted Graphics card I can't play games at the mo.... BOOOOO! But I got the Cronos Enemy Website uploaded, The Great War Pre-Edit site is also up and updated other websites within the WG.com holding site.

The day I dreaded is here..... X-Com 2 is out today!

Proto, I'm interested in buying this from you if it's still for sale. Send me a PM with the details, shipping is to Ireland.

The top is Japanese (I'm sure of that as I recognise Guyver in Japanese) and the bottom is Chinese at a guess. Hope that helps.

Yup, I host that site a good few other old Guyver pages. Last weekend I spent time working on two different Guyver sites. I finished one but there isn't much point in uploading it yet as I also want to finish the second to save me wasting time updating the WG.com menu's system again. Will be a nice update when done, but at the mo I'm cleaning up the code of this old site has it try's to load up Geocites code. But considering how this site of Jess's is what pre-dated TheGuyver.Net it would be nice to get it functional without any broken links as well as getting the old TheGuyver.Net fully working as well. Either way I see a few weekends ahead of cleaning things up and getting them back on-line. I also have to add some code / images so you can browse from them to other hosted sites. If I do figure out how to get the Wiki's working.... I sense more time spent cleaning and tidying too. But it'll be more than worth it in the long run. Sounds crazy but I love this kind of stuff. My only problem is I wish the weekends were longer so I'd more time to work on this stuff.
