Thank you! I'll be working on it some more over the weekend, I want to get the Japanese support working again. But while it has taken some time to get used to I do love how it does things like links topics in posts. There are some very nice features in the new board software. One very cool thing, is it autoupdates security patches. Making it very easy for future important updates. There has already being one since the new board went up and it took a grand total of 1 minute to update to the latest secure version. So while it might have being a weekend of pure pain getting the messageboard to version 4 the time it saves me in the future makes it worth it.

How VIP status works in the future is something I've not thought about much. First main thing was to get a working secured messageboard. That thankfully is about done and the old Guyver Books content is almost fully back on - line. Next will be the old Wiki and see if it's recoverable now that it's begin completely removed form the message boards database. But the one thing I know for sure, is new VIP's won't get it donating but from I'm guessing being active and productive members of the board. Most likely there will be a new version of VIP to show the difference. How it will work will most likely be left up to the membership to decide.

Not exactly, we already have the scanlations done up to the most current chapter of the books. If you want to know exactly where that matches with the 2005 anime, Book 10 is where that series ended and Guyver in Japan is currently on book 32. The idea here is that 1) we don't want to be shut down for giving out free content that no one is entitled too just for knowing English and not Japanese and 2) but still be supportive to Guyver so it doesn't stop. Look at the FAQ topic here for the rules: Note for new to the book fans like yourself there is a cheap option. We don't expect everyone to suddenly go out and buy all the books. The text is meant to be Japanese but the recent board update messed it up, I'll be looking to correct that over the weekend.

I still have fond memories of Comic Book Dave's little market area. I still have loads of comics from those days. Most of my Guyver comic collection is thanks to him and that shop. I still remember talking with you two there about Guyver. That and what's her name that was super cute / attractive that used to hang out ... was it Shelly?

One thing to remind people is that sometimes the Data Files are preview of capabilities that have not yet being shown in the Fiction. While I'm not exactly going to spoil what is up and coming for Isis, her story (or that of her sister) is by any means over. But as a clue look at Time War.

Well last weekend was a disaster for updating the Forum. I was simply put "Ikea'd!"..... If you've never heard the term it is when you go to the Ikea store expecting to only buy one (for me it was a cabinet for holding files for my business) and then walk (drive) out with a new couch, a set of kitchen chairs and table enough stuff for an office of 3 or 4 people never mind that fact is it for me and my home office. It's not just bad enough you end up buying the stuff (and that they gave me the wrong item at collection and had to drive back on Sunday morning..... ) you then have to put the stuff together. I've a busy week ahead but will try and get parts of the board updated in the meantime.

Getting things organised today in perpetration for this weekend. Want to get all the old scanlations up this weekend and all the access groups sorted. Note the access request area is now fully open. So if you want access to a book and don't have it now would be a good time to ask.

The Current Chapters section is up and running but I've not fully updated the Vault group as I ran out of time. Over the next few days I'll be updating the group and threads in the access area and will go from there.

The old Current Chapters has being turned into "Book 32". A new Current chapters will be setup along with Vault access as both share the same group of people. That will be done this Sunday (would have being done before hand but I've a stag party to go to this weekend!). This months Scanlation is ready and will be up on Sunday for those that have vault access. As long as you've a post up in the new access request section with your books you'll be given access then.

Much like myself, you've to get used to it. I'm not totally settled yet on a theme but it's of less importance at the mo than getting the scanlation section fully up and running. One thing to bare in mind though, this wasn't a minor upgrade of the forum. We didn't go from 3.5.4 to 3.5.5. We went to version 4.1 so it is a totally new version of messageboard. It converted many things that it no longer supported to a new format, so there are many things we won't get back look wise or will simply look different going forward.

The only problem I've had with Nurgle is that look wise it is hard to get the miniatures to look good while also have them looking like they are rotting and infested / bloated almost undead looking plague people. Getting some colour into them is also hard. BUT in saying that if you can pull it off and make them look good I'll be impressed with your crazy painting skills.

Ok today things have settled down a little and I've enabled 2 themes for people to use (up to you guys which). I've also enabled the new chat feature of the messageboard.

There are currently two looks. the old version 3 of the board is gone as it was very dated and as I found out insecure. We're not on the latest version 4 of the messageboard but it means that the old theme no longer works. You can switch between the current ones using "theme" at the bottom of the page between the default and the red. I haven't tested it out yet but the new version comes with a chat feature and some other new tools At the moment though the important thing is that it locked down parts of the forum the old version did not.

Ok that was some challenge, but the board has being updated to the latest IP Board version. Currently the board is using the standard template and tomorrow I'll work on securing some things and getting the Scanlation section fully up and running.

Hi guys, I've started the re-write of the GWOTG. My plan is to effectively add a new layer of story into each part to connect all the original small stories of the Chronos Saga first. Here is the new beginning:

Take a months break from updating and people worry Ok joking aside as you said it is a valid question as we have had in the past some sketchy updating in the past. But as the guys have pointed out there is a lot planned for the fan-fiction and not just WG.com. WarriorGuyver.com the site has never being as updated in it's existence than it has over the last year. Compare that to 2014 no updates at all or 2013's single update even what has being done this year overwhelmingly outmatches both of those 2 years together. That isn't hard though as we done feck all back then. But yes there are things planed and a lot of work up-coming not just for the WG-Fiction but for other parts of the site and also Japan Legend which we now Admin and look after. The fiction is still getting a lot of luv and attention it's just there is a lot we can't tell without spoiling it and getting the re-write done now is mandatory and we're also importantly planning on the end of the story (that's a LONG way away, but we're not writing the Never ending story either). But every so often much like Matt, I also need a recharge my batteries and the last few weeks have being spent on WoW getting flying unlocked and lvling another alt to 100. Without this I'd just get cranky and updating the site / fic and art would eventually become more of a job that what it is which is fun when you're chilled and happy seeing the progress the site has enjoyed. FYI guys there is a chance the forum will be down for periods over the weekend, it's upgrade season.
