Been a while since this old dogs posted on here. Within the last year I've been fortunate enough to accomplish a few life goals and thus have a bit more free time. Whipped up a couple pieces of Warrior Guyver fanart I wanted to share. Currently working on a redesign of Dark Falz from the original Phantasy Star on the old Sega Master System.

Lordy it's been a while since I actually did anything in pencil that I thought was decent enough to even post... well and been a while since I have actuall drawn ANYTHING.Crying or Very sad In progress still. I haven't posted anything in a while, and drawing as means of self-expression is good. Just a quick sketch, and touched up with Photoshop. It's a quick job, so it's not that good. I won't go into details, but Rinrin (new character, you'll see more of him later) is a good representation of how I feel right now. There are times when everything going on in your life, even if it's not that serious or too terribly depressing, can just sap out all emotion from you and make you feel pretty damn empty on the inside. I hate angst. I hate feeling sad. I'm only sharing this, not asking for sympathy.

So I figured out how to color in layers so had a field day with my existing artwork as well as some classic Guyver pieces. Has their ever been a picture drawn of Nano Xetel? Is he more Zoalord looking or possibly something else? I remember reading about him being changed in GWOTG's to his current state.

OMG, it's done. One thing I've always loved doing is making my characters cosplay, and I put them in almost costume that can be thought of. Drawing them out, though... eh, that's another story. But here's one that actually got off the drawing board (no pun intended). Usually I draw Fumio first of this quartet of trouble-makers, but Sarah was begging to be drawn first. I've been trying to mentally visualize how I want my fan-fic character Proteus (detailed in the Writers forum, complete with data file now) to look. Looking at the artwork that's featured, I'm seeing a LOT of blue, a fair amount of purple, red and lavender, and a decent amount of green (a bright green, at least). Mostly I'm looking at color scheme -- the actual body look is undecided for certain as well. I also admit that I'm not an artist, so don't expect me to whip out any Guyver pictures of my own (at least, not without being a cheater and tracing out other Guyver poses and stances to at least have a baseline to look at).
