Guyver

Just curious, let's take the ship Jason has stored away and say whatever model it may or may not become, war ship, clan ship, space station, fighter ship, SUV (Space Utility Vehicle). It had a unit in it. Is it possible the ship upon command has the ability to grow new units? The ship control medals we have encountered show the ability to enhance units, why not grow them? Perhaps the rooms in which they are stored is designed for this.

Kind of a weird thing on part of ADV... but they really seem to be pushing to get the new Guyver anime some exposure, like it's the new "flagship" title of ADV. There have been several incarnations of the guyver released, which are listed here in (roughy) chronological order - The Manga (ie, Comic) - created, written and drawn by Yoshiki Takaya. The thing is pretty awesome! Very detailed indeed! It is about time that Max factory got around to making action figures out of the coolest sci-fi series around. I just hope that they make more. The Guyver III was just released this month so the amount in stock is plentiful. I say get it while it's hot. But get ready to dish out at least $44-$60 with shipping and all. Has there ever been a guyver zoalord? In book 4 Murakami states "--If a zoalord became a host of one of the units---That zoalord would possess PHENOMENAL power, far greater than that of the creators themselves. A SUPER EXISTENCE" Now I would assume that his story is based on the "Creators hypothesis", that if a human is that powerful when bio boosted, then a zoalords power would be unimaginable. However if this information is not based on hypothesis, that then means that there has actually been a Guyver Zoalord before in the past! What do you think guys?

Gary Dubin who was the voice actor for Guyver II, Zector, and Aptom in the OVA series passed away last year. He died on October 8th, 2016 from bone cancer. I hadn't heard anything about this until just recently. I'm shocked, and deeply saddened by this. May he rest in peace.

Recently I've been trying to get people who frequent Reddit into watching / reading Guyver and most have never heard of it. Now the 2005 series might have helped its popularity a little or the fact that there are still models and figures floating around, but it really hurts a manga's popularity when you can't find it on the shelf somewhere. Both Guyver and Berserk came out around the same time, and yet Berserk is actually still popular, dare I say mainstream. Every time you go to Barnes & Noble or any other bookstore, there it is on the shelf. Everybody I talk to knows what Berserk is, but nobody knows what Guyver is. So I'm thinking part of the problem with Guyv…
