I checked for any updates to the rules and doesn't seem like any changes were made so I presume this is ok. it's not available in the west. And it's really hard to get a hold of at all, I think. I had a spare moment, while taking a rest from work and my stress situation is getting a lot better recently so I decided to finish this off. I uploaded the photos to mega.nz in zip format. whoever wants to translate this, it's up to you, I'm just providing the photos. Mega NZ link 776.8 MB

I really miss finding the individual guyver sites out there on the net. we set up a page in the wiki for linking to other sites but it doesn't seem to be very engaging and we haven't had any update to it in such a long time. so perhaps a forum thread would work better? we can post links to sites and talk about them. I'll try and keep this first post updated with a list of links. As my first Guyver Web site (guyverfour.1weblord.com) has been mentioned, you may find additional iterations of the site archived below: http://web.archive.org/web/20031018113546/http://guyverfour.t35.com/ (guyverfour.t35.com) http://web.archive.org/web/20130413173…

http://japan-legend....File:Novel1.JPG In this thread, I can post photographs of my guyver novel. then these pictures can be used to get a translation of the novel. I will forget so if people post in here at least once per week, I'll aim to post one double page spread once per week. if nobody posts, I will not remember so if you want to read this book, keep this topic alive so I'll remember. Lost unit has scanlated the cover for us :-

Goodsmile has offically now put up the re-release for preorder! Now's your chance to get him for retail price! Pre-order is now open, and runs until May 6th, 2026! With an expected release date in November 2026! So far, only Goodsmile and Goodsmile US sites have it up. don't know if other distributors will get in on it yet. Please note, the prices and release dates are different for Goodsmile US, due to importing fees and the time it takes to import the stock. If you want any of the figures quicker, use the Japanese site to order from. though of course it will likely cost a bit more in shipping and fees. We have gotten our first early color image release of the new Guyver 3 Figma. It still says Pending, so we're likely still around 6 or so months before we hear about a pre-order... but they could also rush this one out too... So normal routines may not apply. But they are really getting everything ready to make the new 40th anniversary event stand out.

Gigantic Dark is officially Figma #680...! Which means we could see a much earlier release date than most of us ever hoped for, since Guyver Gigantic is Figma #671! The official Max Factory site already has a listing for Figma #681 with a release date of December... While that doesn't mean they release them in order... It's usually not too far off as the page translation says pre-order is coming soon! So they might be waiting for the new 40th Anniversary event for it's official pre-order and release date announcement.

A short video released by Max Factory advertising the re-release of the Guyver 1 Ultimate Edition Figma at the upcoming 40th Anniversary Event seems to suggest that the new Figma of Gigantic Dark might not be too far behind...

As of December 15th, 2025, Kadokawa has renewed the Trademark rights for Guyver. This is something that has to be done every 10 years in Japan... Which the last time they did it, the Manga was actually still being published. https://chizai-watch.com/t/2025139888?q=kadokawa&d=20251215&a=株式会社KADOKAWA It's a bit of interesting news that doesn't actually tell us anything about what is going on with the Manga... Only that Kadokawa is still invested in owning the franchise and controlling what various products can use it.

We used to have scans of the Chuang Yi covers on the old wiki's merchandise page (still visible on the wayback machine) but the higher res versions didn't get saved, so I've scanned in my dust jackets for anyone that might like to get a better look at them. I also scanned in a few data files so people can get a flavour for what they looked like in the CY release: https://mega.nz/fm/PYYSiZxK enjoy!

The Figma Guyver Gigantic is now up for preorder! The pre-order closes on February 11th, 2026! The Price is: 21,800 Yen - Approximately $140 US! Release Date is: October 2026 Remember, pre-ordering is going to the the CHEAPEST this figure will EVER be. I cannot state this enough. These figures skyrocket in price after they are released. There currently does not seem to be any exclusive item from Goodsmile, so ordering from them isn't a priority for those who want the most. It's been a week and we finally got some shots of the upcoming Guyver merch from the Shanghai Wonderfest 2025. No preorder dates yet, but the Titanomachia Guyver 1 and Guyver 3 kits are looking better, this time with a splash of color... But I don't think they are done with the armor on them just yet. And a couple shots of the upcoming Figma Guyver Gigantic. Hopefully we will get a pre-order date soon. Thanks to Donald Burtschi from the Guyver!! Facebook group for sharing these!

Dunno if this is new for anyone else but it was definitely new to me! Backstory; a little while ago I was doing a Guyver nostalgia deep dive (as y'do every so often) and came across a Japanese site that mentioned initial versions of episodes 7 and 8 of Act II that were recalled due to poor production quality and redone into the versions we know and... uh, know. I wasn't sure if they were anywhere online but lo and behold - here we are! Episode 7 Episode 8: Thoughts are as below, don't read if you wanna see for yourself first! - The opening sequence/theme is taken from the original six episodes with bits and pieces from Act II…

Looks like my silly prediction came true... new Figma releases for Guyver 3 and Gigantic Dark! And colored Guyver Giganitc! Also weirdly, Gigantic Darks eyes are colored... The only downside that a number of people have noticed, is that the scale of the Gigantic's seems to be off... When they showed the first proto-type, it was in scale... But now they seem to be similar in scale to what the BFC MAX line used. HOPFULLY it is just something weird about the pictures... But it is concerning. Also some new shots of the Titanomachina crossover with Guyver. Better shots of the arm blade design, which I am much happier with.

So, I've been poking around YouTube lately looking for broadcasts from the Sci-Fi Channel (no, I will not use the current name, TYVM). One thing I've been looking for are promos from when the channel aired the live-action Guyver films. Lo and behold, I found something! Skip to the 3:04 mark, and you'll find them there!

So in the two live action films, it's shown that the Guyver armor is stored in the body. You see the tendrils come through the receivers on Sean's neck several times. I've always noticed this, but wondered why. Does anyone know, or at least suspect why? Was it simply an artistic liberty, or perhaps done for budgetary reasons? Since I'm sure trying the flashy transformation sequence from the anime would be too costly.

So my Figma Guyvers are pretty lonely. Which toys out there do you think stand well with Guyvers? Ya know like, toys of monsters from various IPs that can kinda sorta replace Zoanoids (because Lord knows they're never getting toys). I was shopping over at bigbadtoystore.com and remembered some monster toys I have seen for a whole. Those being: Kikimura from The Witcher Tyranid from Warhammer 40k Kryptonite Doomsday from DC comics. All made by McFarlane Toys, with articulation. They seem like worth stand-ins. Kikimura is probably the most odd one in the group, since it's very animalistic, and not humanoid like legit Zoanoids.

The Guyver parts do look neat, as they are robotic in nature, not just straight design copied over... But about 80% if the figure is just their standard "Gale Hound" base figure (Head, chest and parts to add arm blades). It's a pretty lazy collaberation... One I probably won't be taking part in. It's more like a "character" in the Titanomakia universe of story are fans of Guyver and customized their suits that way.

Hi All, As going to Japan takes a bit of planning putting this out there that I'll be going to Japan's Wonder Fest in 2026. As Wonder Fest is an event like no other and tends to have extremely rare kits from Guyver and other Animes I love (Macross!!), and other important stuff to fans tends to happen there if any like minded people want to go and have a meet up you're more than welcome. The event is usually mid Feb and in Chiba City https://en.japantravel.com/places/chiba/makuhari-messe/45 Dates etc still to be confirmed.
