Your Favorite Anime Shows
Well, to be fair, Astroboy and Speedracer was one of the best animation during it's time. I also happen to like astroboy. It has drama that you wouldn't expect, particularly Atlas and that giant blue robot with a bigass horn that fights other robots which I forgot the name.

A Game of Thrones
All I can say is that no sane mother is capable of killing her own child. Even if I've already read the book, I'm still looking forward to watching the series. And like you, my wife have not read the book. She literally gasped when she saw the red wedding. I've seen videos on youtube that show the audiences' reaction to the red wedding and it's somewhat entertaining. GRRM must feel like a god right now, with the actors asking him not to kill their character off. I've read somewhere that three actors approached him and pleaded not to have their character killed, and in his mind, they're already dead. That's what I liked about GOT, you never really know who's going to live or die, regardless if you are the star or not. We all thought that Ned Stark was the show runner, and was extremely surprised when they took off his head. It's true that they changed the story a bit, but it has minimal effect on the whole story with the exception of a few. For one, Robb's wife was Jane Westerling and she was not part of the red wedding, as Catelyn advised her to not go with Robb in fear of offending the Freys. So plus points to HBO for exceeding the brutality of the original.

A Game of Thrones
Yeah, it wasn't until book 5 that the mystery was fully unveiled and the methodology explained, though there were hints along the way. So how did you feel about the second episode? I seem to read a lot of people getting vindication for that particular episode. I had to admit, that was the one scene I was looking forward to. Aside from that, I don't seem to remember any memorable highlights for the rest of the season.

A Game of Thrones
Makes you wanna think twice about weddings nowadays doesn't it? But has anybody stopped to think about who actually killed John Arryn? That one gesture that started everything? I don't think it was ever truly revealed in the TV series since we never really saw anybody confessing about the act, nor anybody claiming the deed. All we had was accusations and conjectures.

Ok, tell us if you still feel the same way when she actually becomes your girlfriend.

Dumplings. And I'm still proud to say that that chives dumplings I make is still the best one I have ever tasted so far. Even friends have been bugging me to make it. I actually made a business out of it but had to stop when a large conglomerate asked me to work for them. I was selling them for $2.5 for 10 pcs and profits are actually pretty decent, but it was way too time consuming to make it.

ROBOTECH, is it finally here?
Then you'd better be prepared to get screwed if this really happens. Hollywood never follows the original, thinking they know what fans want. How many times have they been more wrong? Macross will forever be what I saw during my childhood. A classic love story. I actually prefer the original TV series compared to the Do you remember love movie. I never saw much of Southern Cross but I hated Mospeada.

A Game of Thrones
Nyahahaha! The mystery doesn't end there my friend. I'm sure you'll be asking a lot more questions. Don't worry, I'll keep my trap shut. Although I am looking forward to more Tyrion Lannister and his witty remarks. And it seems that they changed the actor for Daario Naharis.

Thanks, but alas, that is the Hong Kong version of the VDF and somewhat omitted all of names with the exception of Yoshiki Takaya. In it's place the put the names of those responsible in converting the book to Hong Kong Version.

Even if I zoomed in, it's still unreadable. There is no way for me to translate the credits if I can see clearly what's written. Well, since it's just the credits I guess nobody is bothered that much that that is the only portion left of the whole book left untranslated. Well, aside from the ads that is, but I'd be crazy to translate all those as well.

Staying safe online
Man, you're really cautious. Have you been hacked badly before or something? My wife's desktop got hacked really bad or got infected by some virus, trojan, malware etc and scrambled her windows and you couldn't read anything or click on anything. Well nothing of the sort. It's just my nature to be paranoid. As for the anti-virus, that is all good and well provided you have a top notch PC that can guzzle lot's of memory. But for a PC like mine that is almost a decade old, I prefer to do without it. As I mentioned, I don't have any anti-virus. I chose where I surf and because my PC will be bogged down to a crawl if I have any more application hogging my RAM. My PC only has 1GB ram. It's funny too because it turns out that my phone is much more powerful than my desktop. Besides, I'm not worried about trojans/worms because I know my PC well enough. Anything that I do not recognize in the running processes of my Task Manager, I delete, eliminating the chance of that trojan spreading. And I don't simply delete the file, I also edit my registry to remove any traces of that trojan.

There is one other thing that I always do. Never use the same password twice. I have different accounts in different sites and I use different passwords for all of them. This measure keeps it harder for hackers to hack into your accounts, since one account may contain information about another of your account. It may be difficult to remember all those passwords, but at least one account will not compromise the other accounts. I have 7 different email accounts and all of them have different passwords.

A Game of Thrones
So, how did everyone find the first episode of season 4? We just had the first episode aired last night in our territory, so those complaining that we get the movies early on, this is the trade-off we had to endure as HBO airs a week late in our territory.

I think that all the major websites have already made corrective measures to prevent further vulnerabilities of this exploit. It is recommended that you change your password once you have verified that the website you are using have already patched their software.

Clearer image yes, but the parts near the spine are unreadable / blurred. I just feel that we need closure on this, and that final credits page is the one itch that can't be scratched.

Weather: how is it in your area, etc, etc...
Summer started here and it's fricking hot. Temperature goes up as high as 38°C (100°F). If you leave your car under the sun the whole day, you can literally cook an egg on your hood at 3PM.

What's for dinner? Literally, sort of...food discussion.
I think that information is greatly exaggerated. Unless you leave it in room temperature for long periods of time, which any food will spoil and give you food poisoning. Always store food properly and best if kept refrigerated. The bacteria you are talking about are usually the result of improper storage of rice, usually when left in room temperature after long periods of time, similar to how molds grow in bread. Besides, you will know that the rice is spoiled when it releases a certain odor. What we usually do is cook rice in the evening, and if we weren't able to finish it, we refrigerate it and cook is as fried rice the next day for lunch. As for tuna spread, we have a different recipe. It involves mayonaise and tuna chunks only. Tuna chunks can be substituted for shredded Chicken meat. Add some salt and pepper for flavoring. Add a layer of fine lettuce in a bread and you have a nice chicken or tuna sandwich.

Broken Blade. It's an old anime but it's still good. Just finished all 6 movie episodes and I hear that they are re-releasing this as a TV series.

Event Stories in Comics
Captain America grew up in Manhattan. So I think it is New York. As for the DC characters, to be honest, great stories come from the second tier characters. with DC's 52, you don't get to see any of the main characters like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. None of the famous characters are in it and yet it was one of DC's most successful story arcs. Even the Identity crisis, everyone was wondering who killed Sue Dibny, and I felt that it was one of the greatest execution of comics mystery, with a conclusion that nobody expected. It was simple and convincing. I do like the story of Batman. The likes of Year one, and especially the Dark Knight returns where we see and aging Batman pitted against a Superman still in his prime, yet still defeated by Batman. Stories that involve Joker are also good read, like the Killing joke. DC actually found more success in their elseworlds titles, where stories are written about the main characters that are not cannon and have no relation to the main universe. Which I think is why writers are more creative and have more leeway with the characters, thus giving us a more entertaining story.

Rice is one of the easiest meals to make. If you think you made too much, don't fear. On your next meal, just add some eggs (scrambled), carrots, peas, and if you prefer some bits and pieces of meat (we usually put diced hot dogs or sausage), fry them together (with a little bit of oil) and add a pinch of salt, and you have just created a genuine Yang Chow fried rice. The most important part about this dish is that it is necessary for the rice to be left overs, as that is the main essence of fried rice. And you only need 5 to 10 minutes to cook this.

Event Stories in Comics
Well, they did officially acknowledge that Starlord and Nova were indeed dead, Peter Quill was even asked as to how he came back, but he replied with silence. It means something happened that somehow Thanos managed to get out of the cancerverse as together with Peter, but not Nova. It's a shame about Age of Ultron. I liked the concept, and was even expecting a great story line with the great build up, but the conclusion was disappointing. Don't know it that was the intended ending or they just forced it so they can incorporate Angela into their universe.
