I don't think Arkanfel (Alkanphel ) is a Prototype. Prototyping is by a full bodied test subject. You test the result and see how it works. Then you make another Prototype compare and see how it goes. Each prototype being it's own thing until you eventually reach the final product and are happy with the design. Alkanphel (I'm too used to the Viz spelling of his name ) is either a final Prototype or the final product, the difference being not important. He is too complex a design to be anything else and the story has a much earlier Prototype in it to support this. Waferdanos is a prototype of Alkanphel. He is the combined bio-mass of an island full of intelligent complex plant based creatures. He is a test in control, you've the primary core and then you have the lower followers in support controlled by the core (the King). What's even more amazing in the way Takaya shows us this is that is not only do we see the early form of Waferdanos we saw his evolved form first. When given access to more advanced Creator technology (a Zoacrystal) Waferdanos was able to collect his complete bio-mass together into one form, named by Balcus after the island where he discovered him. Zoalord crystals also repair themselves over time, (Alkanphel stated as much himself) Imakarum's would have done so, but after the death of Prug'stall at the hands of the Rogues that Alkanphel triggers the Ark to use its energy to heal him. Book 15 gives us a good explanation as to why Alkanphel is so damaged, it wasn't using his shield (though that would have drained him for awhile) it was the attack from the God's themselves and being ordered to shut down. Something Alkanphel rebelled against when he saw Earth about to be destroyed,

Saying "more questions" is a little incorrect. It's being a continuing question for a long time that's continued a flow. You get an answer but the story moves onto the next question. 1st was "who was the man in rags" 2nd was "oh it's Guyot, does that mean the Remover survived also?" Apollyon is most likely Imakarum, if that is the case he's being on that mission for awhile now.

And considering these are reprints, even the price I mentioned above is a rip off. I've 3 packs of these. They've some great art in them, but nothing in it is worth that much and as I said it's a reprint. Matt got the rare version of a few years back, which was the same prints in a book format.

This is the first time I've seen: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/BIO-BOOSTER-GUYVER-ANIME-PRODUCTION-ART-SETTEI-SHEETS-/222127424583 On ebay, normally you see them on Yahoo Japan. To anyone that wants to pay that much for them though, my advice would be no, don't. These get reproduced a lot in Japan and while very cool you can get them from the Yahoo Japan for around 7000 yen or less (which works out at about 50 to 60 Euro). For what you're getting from this ebay seller, it's an extreme price to pay.

This project has suffered the last year and I've not had a huge amount of time for it. The main reason has being Japan-Legends former Wiki. I spent a lot of time trying to understand how IPWiki ran and tried to recover it. In the end it proved impossible due to not having a copy of the important part of the database that was missing... Basically though it was worth the time as that was a lot of lost Guyver information that would have helped TheGuyver.NET a lot. So new year, new start. I've put a lot of work into getting the site template up and running and it's finally starting to resemble a website. It's still not at preview stage yet but over the next few months I hope to get it to a point where I'm happy for the website to come back fully on line. For WarriorGuyver.com too the last year has seen some important changes to the old site. The old forums of WarriorGuyver.com have being merged with Japan-Legends so there is no longer a split chatting community. Much like TheGuyver.NET though a lot has being pushed back so I could work on Japan-Legend. There hasn't being a new fan fiction or rewritten story in quite awhile My vision going forward is the for the following with the 3 domains I now run: Japan-Legend.com -> This will continue doing what it does best. This is where the Guyver fan community can come together and chat about Guyver and going forward will be the news site for the 3 domains. I've good news in that the Scanlation project has moved onto a new project that will reward Vault users on their access. Stay tuned for future updates there . WarriorGuyver.com / The Warrior Guyver - Fan-Fiction -> The Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction site has a big update brewing. Part of it is a complete update of the timeline and the Calendar section of the site. The fan-fiction will be moving to the timeline established in the 2005 Anime. As part of this the character profile section will also be getting updated and used properly. In time when TheGuyver.NET comes fully on-line the character profile section will link to that so people who've had trouble knowing what's fan-fiction and what's not will have a much easier time going forward Along with that The Guyver Fan-Archive has some updates needed due to the Forum change here in Japan-Legend breaking a number of the links there and new Guyver art going up also (new to the archive, long term members here will have seen it before)! TheGuyver.NET -> This site will go live this year! Early this year I hope (in the next few months)! Like the WarriorGuyver.com it will link to the Guyver Forum here at Japan-Legend and will be the website that holds only official Guyver info and will replace the Wiki that used to be here in Japan Legend. It will also going forward hold Guyver translations. Overall the plan going forward is that all 3 domains will support each other better and provide different content.

Shoutbox seems to have bit the dust for version 4 of IP Board we use. I have though found a similar app which looks likes it works better than shoutbox that we can use instead. Hope to have time to test this out soon.

Looking at the boxes I'd guess they are different productions. These are meant to be painted by the person who builds them. Doesn't really matter what colour the plastic is.

I've worked in IT support for years. Some members of the website might find what I'm about to say offensive in some ways but it's the truth. Those here that are efectively IT support for their grandparents would also know this... Old people are set in their ways and don't want to know modern tech any better than what they are forced to by the world around them. My mum for example knows enough to email and dislikes Facebook but can just about use it and as for the other versions of online media do not even go there.... I've had to remove Snapchat from her phone as it caused her more stress than was useful and remind family members "Facebook her or email her, she gets that, don't use other shite!". Takaya isn't a young man any more, the likely hood of that man wanting to join the digital age in a way we'd be happy is unlikely. What he does need is that any aritist that does eventually assists him is of this modren age so we ger to hear more of what is happening and things like the last hiatus are explained. As a Guyver fan though I'm used to waiting... it was 10 or 15 odd years before I could properly read after book 7 from the point where I started collecting Guyver stuff and had watched the 12 part Anime.

Mine arrived today as I was leaving for work! I've not had a chance to even open the wrapper. Tonight I'll put some pictures up. Funny thing is at the moment I'm going through a Star Wars rewatch of the second produced trilogy before I go to see Rogue One this Thursday morning (at 12:01 am!). The thing I find funny is I'll be watching a movie tonight which is most famous for having Mark Hammel in it and that he doesn't like

Are Lost Numbers Sterile
Sully replied to Shin Mefilas's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
It's unlikely that they are sterile in the traditional sense. Chronos would not want to produce zoa-forms the way the human body does it naturally. A sperm from a make and an egg from a female means what makes Aptom what he is it halved in it's genetic mix. Some some genes are dominant (e.g. brown over blue eyes) it wouldn't be what they orginally started with. As such it's unlikely they are sterile as it wouldn't be factor in the proccess of making future zoanoids. -
We're seeing Guyver 3 next : Hopefully after him we'll get Guyver 2 and Guyver 0!

They are both lovely kits, but I'm personally holding out for them to make those in Exceed Colours!

This isn't the first time he took a break, though it was rather strange the way it happened (as in were expecting a chapter but none happened). Hopefully in the new year we'll hear something new. At the moment it's an interesting time for Guyver with 2 companies producing model kits. The latter in extreame detail, makes me wonder if Takaya is working on this project in someway.

They are still there. Click Categories at the top. Basically there are 2 sets, one from the orginal JL board and one from the merged WG.com boards called Converted.
