Here's an interesting fact. All life on Earth had to be destroyed because the genetic flaw that allowed the Guyver effect was present in all forms of life. But you've to ration that with what Matt said, we know a lot more about how the Guyver Unit works now to 20 years ago (thank you translators!!!!). The question would be how the balance would work. it's a known fact that humans are one of the few species that are truly self aware. By that we mean the brain we have has gone beyond just survival mode which most creatures have. E.g. a road cuts through the rain forest. Some animals will never cross that road. They'll never figure it out. You could argue there are other animals on Earth that would over come something like this. But the question would be without true self awareness would a Guyver Trex ever be not "Out of Control"?

Busy last few days. Great War of the Guyvers has being fully restored as to what it was before the change over to Wordpress. This also has a fully working Gallery section which is a nice upgrade to the way pictures used to work on the site. Note if you want to save pictures move the mouse to near the top of the picture when the mouse icon changes from a hand to a pointer. Rightclick and then you can save the picture. Along with that the Links section has also being fully restored and updated. There's still a lot of left to do. The ACTF Data files along with the other data files are still on going.

Welcome to the forum new guys . FYI those keeping keeping the following thread up to date with their collections When I get Guyver.Net up to date one of the things I want to do is to add a section for those that have great collections is to put these up on the site. I'll be working on that once the major update to WarriorGuyver.com is done. This thread is more for keeping track of the lack of Manga. But you're more than welcome to start a new thread if you fell it doesn't fit with the collections thread mentioned above if none of the current stuff matches what you want to chat about.

This is why putting an exact science unto a fictional story isn't always a good thing. The art isn't a mistake it is the data file science doesn't support what Takaya had drawn and intended. In the end you've to leave the world of the Guyver to be it's own little sudo science existence where science fact and fiction mix a little. It's not just Guyver that does this, every comic / movie / story every written does the exact same thing unless it is based on historical fact.

Guyver is still listed as a Shonen Ace series on their website.

The last month has being interesting. Experimenting a lot less now and simply getting content back up onto the website. The Fan-Fiction section is now finished and I'm now working on getting the data file section back up and running fully. Its a lot of time though as each section of the data file has to be manually entered and fixed up for data file and there are a LOT of data files. It's getting there though and the basic structure of the website is almost done.

Last weekend I didn't get much of a chance to work on the website. The reason being I was at Comic Con Ireland and had a chance to meet David Hayter. I took the opportunity to get a picture signed for Matt

I'm not a fan of these vs topics due to them not sharing the same media / author space. Simply put the worlds of Marvel / DC / Guyver were never designed to mix. Depending on who is writing it anyone of those comics in DC and Marvel's stories will not match up with what one character done in the past and like others have said here won't match up. Even with the same author all the way through as shown by others here things don't always match up with scaling (the Gregore holding a tank over its head being the classic example). Even in Guyver the live action movie vs comics is not something that works well. The Guyver doesn't go into hyperspace but is completely inside the host visually in the movies due to limited effects of the first movie. But in the second movie the activation effect looked closer to that of the comics. Don't get me wrong they are still fun to talk about but you need to take everything with a pinch of salt and not be too focused to one view.

I'll be watching it tomorrow, I#m not to fussed what "critics" think. They hated 300, I loved it.

I read the same rumor. If it is the case it would at least explain things... But even so give me Guyver!

Well no Guyver on the cover this month... I sense a theme though with all the art choices lately

The cover has being delayed on Amazon and on their main page, but looking at their twitter feed it's not Guyver.

I'd a really happy moment today as I was testing out the WarriorGuyver.com website with actual content with my mobile and seeing how well it formatted there. It really is worth it to see it that way and also means that when it's TheGuyver.Net turn I know the site will also benefit from me using Wordpress instead. I've still though a crap ton of work though it getting all the old content back up.

Progress with the WarriorGuyver.com site has being a little slow. Mostly it has being me learning how the Wordpress system works. Yesterday though I finally got tables to work properly which is a big thing for the design of that site I can no push ahead with getting back up a lot of the important sections of the website and go from there.

Less than 2 weeks to go until a new cover.... I wonder what it will be.

Last weekend was a bit of a learning curve. The import tool sucked giving me 1000's of pages that we useless. So will have to do this manually and am learning my around the application at the moment. So far though I really like the application, it's just a case of getting the most out of it and transfering stuff so nothing is missing. Lots of work ahead, but when this is finished it will be worth it.

It's personality / Genetics / something from the host. We know because in the Comics the unit Valkyrie is using was made from the test samples from Guyver 2 units. So far it is like a fingerprint in that every Guyver is someone different in looks and no two at the same.

This months cover, don't see Guyver anywhere.

This weekend I'll be testing out a HTML conversion tool on WarriorGuyver.com. Large sections of content might be gone temporally as I test things out.

The same here, 2 more days and another new cover... wonder if it will be a big boobed anime character or some strange frog thing this month.

Hey guys, sorry real life has being kicking my ass lately and thankfully now working for a new company and it is a lot closer to home than my previous job Anyway this stuff hasn't being forgotten. But at the moment now my focus is in getting both Warrior Guyver.com and TheGuyver.net turned into something that will be a lot more user friendly to update going forward. Matt, Paul and I had our first big Guyver chat in ages so a lot of good things have come together as a result of that. But before I get back to focus on the fan fic the site needs to be moved from HTML to Wordpress. There is a shite load of work in that but a part of that which is important will be the new site will have the new updated timeline the Calendar and will kick off a lot of updating of the fan-fic (it will now be easy to edit without FTPing new HTML files up).

Next one is some Frog looking bat shit crazy looking thing.
