Welcome back! We still meet most weekends to talk about the fan-fic and develop and redevelop characters. I've spent the last few weekends gettings things up to date on the websites server so things can be updated website wise (boring, time consuming but needed!). There are going to be some major changes coming over the next month or so as we've decided to properly kick off the current rewrite. So much like the Great War site, Warrior Guyver's site will be changed so only the current rewritten fics will be up though data files and the likes will be still there and updated to match. The old site (the last HTML version of the site) if needed is going to be updated so it has the best before re-write version of the story, so if you want to read the old version, it's still online. But yeah we felt that the story basically needed a root and branch look at it. The new version of the story will start before Mutronics.

All 3 sites certs renewed. Boring updates to do next weekend to get the database the websites sit on updated but important so things keep working.

Cert issue for Japan-Legend fixed. Ran some pending updates for the board. WarriorGuyver.com and TheGuyver.Net certs will be fixed tomorrow

It's quite clear it was only samples of Bio-Material that they grew into more bio-material by letting it "eat".

It was vaporised up by the Guyver 1's mega smasher. Takaya in the original version didn't have any damage to the ground which has left the theory open that Guyver 2's C medal somehow survived. But in the newer take of the art when it was republished he went out of his way to put the damage to the ground showing the damage the mega-smashers done. That was basically (in my opion) Tayaka tidying up that theory that somehow Guyver 2's C Medal survived. In the 2005 Anime the body and C medal of Guyver 2 effectively gets burned up in the fires of the collapsing upper floors of the building after the explosion as Guyver 1 and Tetsuro float away. In that the C Medal of Guyver 2 is broken into 5 parts. Some samples of his Bio-Armour made it back to the USA where Chronos scientists use it to be the basis of the Artificial C-Medal Unit that becomes Guyver II F. In all versions of the Guyver though, a Damaged C Medal is fatal to a Guyver. The defects are not repairable by the Unit themselves. When tested and pushed in combat all of those Guyvers died due to their failing C-Medals. Not one of those Guyvers recovered. Guyver 2 in the 2005 had some decent time as a Guyver so if it were possible for the C-Medal to heal up it would have been him. But it was not the case.

FYI I edtied your first post to embed the pictures to the site, no need for links any more. We all love Takaya's work, but don't become too obsessed with matching his artwork line for line. You end up getting more focused on that than you do your character and it hurts the end result. Like Matt said, take risks and go with it. In the end what is the focus you want for your character should come first, then design and play with the look after. The cool thing about art on a PC is the ability to change and layer items. Where I grew the most with my ability to change and draw on the PC was when I stopped using Guyver art work and modifying it (my first WG picture is litrally that it's a combo of offical work modifed and recoloured) to where I was about to take a Street Fighter image and then draw Guyver armour over it to make the characters I wanted. It gives you a far greater range then to draw things at different angles. This is the same advise I give people painting minuatues for the first time, don't look at art as a failure if you do something you don't like, everything including failure is helping you towards learning a method to a style you'll like doing. You can always reset or redo a step for different results. (Though for mini painting, that involves terps or met spirts to clean the paint of a mini! Not deleting and adding a new layer) Developing that is probably the most important step you'll ever do. Get yourself Adobe Potoshop or Manga Studio and just play with it and have fun. You'll be in a far better place than I was 20 years ago with Unlead iPhoto and 1 layer for everything I did!..... And btw, I liked your first pic in the post more than the later pics, don't be scared in taking that as your starting point and editing in the PC later. There's all sorts of tools to take images and correct the size and parts later.

The upgrade over the weekend was a pain in the arse. Still more work to do to get some other parts of the board back up and running again. FYI Chat Box is currently down and will be looked at this coming weekend.

Even if it's just "Central", the Uranus on Earth didn't make the choice. It was made for them and as you put it, Central pulled the tigger. Which means any Uranus that hung around by accident would have been killed with us too if not for Archanfel. But the story points to none of them staying behind, their just ships they were willing to let be destroyed.

The Advents / Uranus don't Value Life, they valued the experiment ultimately. They wanted an army and were willing to put huge resources and time into it (countless millions of years). They were (are, we don't know if they still are by the current time line) part of a huge Federation, the core of which was called the Central Federation that used Unit G as a day to day suit and was key in this inter species group in talking with each other and was their space suit for commanding their ships. The Unit G was a past successful experiment. But the moment they realised all life on Earth was tainted by a flaw called Guyver and that Archanfel could become a and effective God of Destruction they tried to wipe everything out. Simple fact is, if they thought for a second we survived another giant moon would have been sent to finish the Earth off. Here is the thing though, it doesn't clearly state if it was the Uranus who sent the Moon or the Central Federation who decided to mothball Earth. The Uranus left in rush, and had to leave leaving behind ships they never expected to survive Earths destruction but that could be due to the deadline given to them. So which group was the one that actually pulled the trigger and owned the weapon that sent the huge moon / planetoid is up for debate.

Part of that was I didn't want to turn it back on for it to just fall over again during that week (it had gotten to the stage where if I done the temp fix, that only lasted half a day or less). I found the part to get it fixed but getting it setup was something I didn't do before so waited until the weekend as there was a hole series of updates and changes I wanted done and out of the way and if things went to hell I wanted time to focus and trouble shoot it properly. Part of that is the Message Board is now on the latest version which has given us new "Features" like the rank icons which involved resetting stuff to match old settings... I've not had a chance to play around with it yet but this weekends focus will be on the Chat box first. Then getting other tasks the new version of the board wants setup done next, then I'll worry about making things pretty

The Messageboard and sites have had some major changes. The server is now on PHP8. The messageboard in Japan-Legend is on the lasted new version just released tonight. The Chatbox though is a little out of date compared to everything else around it so is acting a little funny. More updates this weekend I feel. But the worst of it is done and the messageboard seems a lot more stable.

This weekend coming there are some major upgrades going theough the planning stages as the websites are upgraded so they can run on the laltest PHP.. expect down time and a lot of head scratching...

Ok, very much worth the watch The only thing that shocked me is there was no after credits... though one tiny bit at the end were you hear Godzilla. Mecha Godzilla was amazingly well done and kicked ass. I liked how they tied him to the last movie. Overall very much worth the watch, if you enjoyed the last one this ones will be right up your street.

Ok guys and gals, I can apply for allowing the board been viable inside a mobile app by the people who design the software behind the forum (so in other words in the future if this works out you can simply click a icon on your phone for the forum). The issue is the NSFW section (the adult section) of the site simply is a no no and will result in the application not going through. So this is a heads up that by next weekend if you for whatever reason want a copy of what is this section of the board now is the time to grab it. Next weekend I will be removing that section of the board.

Hopefully it is just a case of finding a new current version of it (or one close to it). Either way, any theme we find has to be updated to work fully after the forum is updated. But yeah, the Brown / Red will be back at some point.
