  1. I find it easier to get the Kanji I need from wikipedia. Go to the english page, and select the japanese version of that page. =)
  2. Because the UN is for the post part useless. The US isn't a policeman, maybe a crooked cop internationally. The US is as good as it gets as far as getting an international cop, sadly. And you're right on the money as far as the situation goes. What I meant by in the deal, is why they didn't actually compromise between the two. Not so much as join a specific economic group, but play both sides into a partial deal. In the past they could of done so. I guess when all you have to offer is debt, you become a beggar, not a chooser. As for Obama, it's the US presidents job to get upset when there is a regional disturbance near allies, and neighbors, and general threats to democracy and sovereign nations. I know, it's hypocritical considering recent US history. Yet, this is how international politics work. If he didn't condemn it, you think people wouldn't judge? Look at Clinton, to this day, his political legacy with Rwanda is a gigantic shame to his work and the US international policy. Keep in Mind also, that political pressure can help prevent wars. Example, Hitler admitted that had the UK and France threatened war over the Czech Republic, he would of given in to peace.
  3. They already made a guyver imitation in western comics. Not sure about Marvel, but DC's Zuggernaut ( http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Zuggernaut_(New_Earth) ) is somewhat annoying. Frankly, Marvel and DC would ruin it. They'd throw in a writer, and would weaken or overpower him compared to other characters. Heck, we had some great designs and writing thrown into trash over the years because one character changed hands, and thus was ruined.
  4. Humans can survive in the vacuum of space. So it's fair to say the Guyver would have very limited powers. Reasons why Humans die in space. Radiation: Exposure will eventually kill you. -Not a real issue for the Guyver, seems the Guyver armor and Relic Ships are similar, thus radiation proof. Even if not, the cells would repeatably heal. Vacuume: You can't breath, also of oxygen, obviously. If exposed to the vacuum and not prepared, you would could suffer lung trauma. Your eyes don't get pulled out of your head like popularly thought. -Self contained suit would prevent most of this. Guyver can survive for extended periods for certain. However, I doubt it's indefinite. Gigantic shouldn't have this as much of an issue. Space: Floating until dead unless given cords or thruster gear. -We don't know if the Guyver simply manipulates gravity around it, or generates it. If unable to generate, the Guyver can still move around without an issue so long as he is near a gravity field, like a planet or a moon, even an asteroid. It would be weaker though the further away, thus slower. On the other hand, the Sun generates powerful gravity too, so maybe the Guyver can still move around. Noteworthy is the Guyver Gigantic Jets. They don't rely on air intake, thus can maneuver. Sound: No air, few and far in between what objects are around. -So no sonic busters. I'm certain. Subzero Space: Humans can survive the cold. Not sure for how long though. According to NASA, heat fails to escape your body all that fast because there is nothing for it to escape too according to the laws of thermodynamics. However, the moister on your body, eyes, nose, and ears would boil... mostly due to the temperature difference alone. -Guyver is isolated and further protected by it's armor for extreme environments. However his head beam might be weakened since it relied on excess body heat. Anything else we might be missing.
  5. Arm? Interesting idea.
  6. 『ウォリアーズã€ï¼ˆThe Warriors)ã¯ã€1979年制作ã®ã‚¢ãƒ¡ãƒªã‚«æ˜ 画。ウォルター・ヒルã€ãƒ•ランク・マーシャルã®åˆæœŸã®ä½œå“。
  7. Red Lobster standing by!
  8. No, the US wouldn't get involved in a conflict. It has no major political interests unless the Ukraine was already part of the EU. I wonder if part of Russia's policy is due in part because the Ukraine was one of the few countries to support and supply the nation of Georgia during the 2008 war. Also, Russia has a very big interest in the black sea, the Crimea is traditionally the most important gateway for the Russian Navy. They actually still lease a naval base there. Sorry, still trying to make sense of this all. Why could the Ukraine just join both the EU and Russian trade deals?
  9. I don't think it's entirely to protect citizens. If it were, they would not of increased the risk of war by actually trespassing into neighbors country and surround government buildings and institutes. They even took over airports. For all intents and purposes, this would normally start a war. If that Russian speaking people in the Ukraine really wanted independence, they would of done so already. If they wanted to join the Russian Federation, they would of petitioned already. I can understand, those who speak russian wanting to preserve their ties to Russia, but this is something entirely different. What happened in the last few months was that the ethnic Russians, the minority in the Ukraine had a good deal of protection from the recently ousted president, and support from Russia in turn. So having that protection gone must be scary, as they had economic and political benefits. I can understand Russia's position. Afterall, Ukraine has been an important partner for the last few decades, and they wanted it to remain so. But some of the policies between the two are alarming, Putin offered money and a generous deal, but also threatened to break the country economically if they refused. That's not normal diplomacy, you don't threaten a person into making deals, that's criminal trade. Then there are the ties with the mob, the black market, the energy monopoly Russia enjoys over the Ukraine. I can't but see this as a bigger nation trying to corner a smaller one for it's own agenda. The prospect of a civil war and invasion did not seem to come to reality until after the President was ousted... which means that Russia is more interested in protecting it's investment, not Russian nationals. This is how it looks like to me. I'm hoping our russian board members can shed some light in this, that some big crime was committed that truly needed soldiers to cross a border and risk war. Because right now, I am not seeing it.
  10. Takaya might be throwing us a curveball. But at the same time, his past secret identities were the worst kept secret to fans. Everyone knew who Guyver III was for the longest.
  11. I'm just going to pretend Apollyon is secretly a radioactive chipmunk, and just allow myself to keep the mystery alive about his identity a little longer.
  12. Let's see.... that's a familiar attack.... cut right into the earth.
  13. I'm still holding out. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome. But so did the Godzilla 2000 trailer at the time.
  14. Get this, one director in bollywood says he wants to make his own version. http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/140467/Robocop-To-Get-a-Bollywood-Remake
  15. http://www.wikihow.com/Buy-Film-Rights-to-a-Book Current Guyver Publisher is Kadokawa Shoten aka 角å·æ›¸åº— http://shoten.kadokawa.co.jp/ One would have to contact the Rights and Acquisitions Department as well as the Author/Agent, in this case Yoshiki Takaya. (By the way in searching a possible agent, turns out Yoshiki does autograph events) Just be wary though. Recently A new branch of the company came to be, called Kadokawa Pictures. It's a new film division, so if someone has rights transferred there, than it will be hard to acquire the rights overseas.I wish everyone luck regardless.
  16. Hypers would be an issue. Though I wonder, how strong is kamen Rider. We have some standard Zoanoids 10 times the strength of a human, but lots of the Riders I've seen can't even bend a metal rail Rod.
  17. I know. He seemed really up beat and over friendly. Had some good jokes. Hard to believe he'd commit suicide.
  18. Justin Carmical recently passed away, in a terribly unexpected way. He was a well known video blogger and reviewer, who was a big fan of Japanese action series like Kamen Rider, and was an active Wiki contributor on a couple of Tokatsu Websites. The Nastalgia critic gave a tribute video. Not sure if anyone her knew his work. But just felt like it should be pointed out to fellow fans who might of known him, but not of kept up to date. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/42100-in-loving-memory-of-justin-carmical
  19. I'm a Joss Whedon fan too. But he doesn't tend to stay close to source material. Would probably turn out awesome regardless.
  20. We need someone who is hardcore action and Scifi to fan, tempered with some good drama pacing. Hard to find a director who can do that these days.
  21. Hell? And here i thought Urban areas in New Jersey had earned that name already. XD
  22. ye old classic Devilman.
  23. Well the other two that come close to guyver was Boah and Generator Gawl. Not sure about the above ones. Guyver himself was inspired by Skullman. Not to familiar with Zeorymer.
  24. Oh I had hundreds of lego's also had Megabloks and erector sets. Erector sets were way better and more refined and flexible, but Lego's came in major themes, were smaller, and more customizable, not to mention cheaper. I used to have a large set of pirate and Medieval sets. Sad to say I don't have any of it now. All thrown away years ago when I got kicked out of the house. You're LEGO edits are fantastic Ryuki. I used to use a digital LEGO game, and there was a bod out that let you reshape and create new LEGO's. It;'s just not compatible with current PC's now.
