  1. Oh man, so many zoanoid types to choose from. I suppose I wouldn't mind becoming the ratty looking Geefog or armored Tabross, but I would prefer to be a Delcasse. The Delcasse looks awesome, has tough armor and claws, and a bio lasers inside his palms.
  2. That came out looking pretty badass.
  3. lol at spidey pic. it's great to have him back, and Spidey's self monologues are sorely missed.
  4. Ahh, you just beat me to it. Funny enough, they actually mentioned the exact same point at the end. Everything they both mentioned was pretty much how I felt on both ends of the spectrum. Never agreed so much wither either one of them before. And strangely, with both of them at the same time. How weird.
  5. "he's kinda hot" Wasn't a bad line, just... I dunno, if it had been earlier in the movie I don't think anyone would of had an issue with it. But to have the movie close with that after all that chaos is just bad pacing. When a movie ends, you want the movie to impact you, having that line in there will stick in your head instead of what should of stuck in your head instead. Mainly what happened between Zod and Supes in the end. Also, now that I reflect on "he's kinda hot". I can only imagine Superman somehow dressing up like shaft and takes random women home for sex before flying off to Harlem.
  6. Good points. I wonder though if he's got full support, or he's got more resources than they thick. He may of had funds hidden around somewhere and been funding his litle zoanoid army on his own.
  7. 1. Apparently it's physical contact making his telepathy stronger. Since the movie scene, it's been removed from all continuity. Though I always assumed that Lex Luthor would figure out Superman's secret identity, only for a wet kiss to instantly make him forget. The process repeats every week, and Lex vows revenge after the kiss because Superman turns him down for a date. 2. He still has that power along with telepathy. But it's no longer as random. He can only use on occasion on external bodies, and he has a constant one projected around his own body that helps with invulnerability. 3. Not sure which clone version you are talking about. Was it that dreadful time he split into a red and blue superman? God, that was awful! 4. His clothing is apparently still indestructible because of the super thin shield, or his telekinetic. 5. Well he is almost as fast as the flash, but that scene in the movie has terribly silly. Reversing the planet's rotation does not reverse time. In fact i'm pretty sure he cause a set of planetary disasters when he reverse the planet, killed everyone on it. The ending to the movie and sequels were all in his head as he drifted in space absorbed in his own escape from reality. 6. That's his telepathy again, not only does it make you think his hair is perfect, but that Clark Kent looks like nobody else. The military in the end of the movie were still trying to figure out who he is, even sending satellites and drones to follow him. I think they are mostly this stupid because of, A: The troops who encountered him were all killed off. And, B: The script is stupid.
  8. He's no coward, but he knew he would lose any chance of dominating the world if he gave up that remover. Also there was no guarantee for his safety. He would fight or die. Now, giving up his two supporters, I wouldn't be surprised, but then again, he'd probably just runaway again.
  9. Knowing Guyot, he'd do it to save his own neck. XD
  10. This is popped up in the plot sooner than I expected. This is awesome!
  11. No, they are still clueless as to who superman is. But having louis lane know from the start... and his entire hometown is rather weird. It's not like he can just kiss all of them to make them forget.
  12. Just to show case how a fight scene actually is in the movie without revealing too much of the plot. Frankly some people had hated the fights scenes for being to dragon ball. I can't really post plot spoilers. It ruins the movie experience.
  13. If Guyver is known for one thing, it's not making too many characters 2 Dimensional, though the early OVA's made viewers think otherwise. I actually like the fact that since relics arc, the villains have been given full character development treatment too. Originally you don't know much and have to assume they are greedy darwinists megalomaniacs, but it's changed since then... well except maybe for Guyot, he;'s still all that... Barcus might be heartless to the rest of humanity, but he cares for his friends and duty. He's a great antagonist who as it turns out is someone you would trust with your life if he were your friend, but a frightful enemy.
  14. I can agree with your observations. I think most of us would agree to an extent too. Though I view Agito different, as being sane, but emotionally imbalanced. You would think it otherwise because of his intellect and precision, but not the case since he's driven by his parents death and loss of a childhood. Actually batman isn't emotionally balanced either, they are pretty similar in that they have this dogmatic goal of tearing away at the flaws in their worldview in the only way that could keep them sane. That's agito in a nutshell, but certainly less sane than Sho.
  15. You know, I have to think back to the original movie and how they had actually saved Murphey's entire arm. But then, as they were building robocop, the director of the robocop program told them to get rid of it. So I think him having the hand kinda harks back to that particular scene. May of been in the original script for the first movie by miller as well. Still... it seem so out of place. We can sort of understand the mouth, not only to speak, but to show that he is part human or human once to the public, but at the same time, we all know that the mouth was a huge target, and could never fathom how machine gun fire always missed the mouth. Design wise, having a semi transparent steel or transparent steel strength plastic covering the entire face would of been more practical. And yes, both have been invented already.
  16. I didn't read the translation, so that does peak my curiosity. Also, hope you feel better.
  17. Well they do have this one fight scene. Just to get you an idea of the action.
  18. That's some good news actually. I would of preferred if Richard Marquand or Irvin Kershner had directed the prequels or possibly these new sequels, but sadly, both are gone now. But having the old screenwriter involved could save a few things. I just hope to god, no Jarjar travesty. Hopefully something a little cooler than the ewoks at least. Actually the droids in Star Wars clone wars are awesome entertaining. They are "deadly but stupid droid". Just remove the deadly and replace it with "capable heroic stupid android" and you got a new cash cow.
  19. Probably. A lot of Manga artists do their own work, but when can't live off it do work on other manga's as an artist. That or he went back to working on manga porn again under another alias.
  20. In all honesty, the movies action scenes felt more like Dragon ball, Acting was alright, but the plot was utterly stupid. The drama and imagery was well done. The movie was a bit too long, but the segmented story actually allowed it to be digested nicely. We didn't need half the throw away humans, and we didn't need religion, though it was a nice attempt at the religious stuff, just not done right. The passage of time as Superman dealt with growing up and the flaws of humanity were well done. Of course the entirely best part of the movie was that scene between Superman and Zod. No Superman movie has raised as many questions and anger or praise about that one single 5 seconds when the battle ended.
  21. Exactly what I spent have the day thinking about while at work. I didn't think much about it as being funny, then I kept thinking about it... Why the heck didn't I figure that myself. So many jokes I could of used on John Kerry!
  22. Sage would probably do it on his own, unlikely that Doug would, but it would be awesome.
  23. In a walmart no less.
  24. I remember it, that and every gundam that was ever showed in the franchise, even Gundam Wing which had yet to air. This was all during that last battle against the Devil Gundam controlled Space Colony. I loved G Gundam, despite how silly it was. It didn't get good ratings, but it certainly had an impact on gundam fans with it's surprisingly deep plot. Also, the only Gundam series that had an adult lead from the start. Sure others had older costars, or some that turned 18 between seasons, but Doman from the very start was 20. All other series have young boys or teenagers. Never understood how every military organization can just throw children into a powerhouse death machine repeatably.
  25. I don't know why so many keep thinking Gundam wasn't directed at kids. Since the first incarnation, the show was sponsored by sunrise to sell toys as far as production was. But the series designer and creator added more to it giving it some actual merit as a show. They had to compromise on a lot. The original gundam design was a mostly grey color, but that wouldn't grab childrens eyes, so they had to repaint the design in a red, yellow, blue, and white design. There's a reason it's called white devil instead of rainbow devil. The original series had poor ratings, but big toy sales, that kept it afloat. I think what changed was that, after the success, they could start writing more mature and darker plots, which was great as the audience grew up. But it was never able to let go of the silly childrens relations, and thus, like a bungee cord, it always got pulled back into that territory. If you have a G Gundam directors notes, you'll crack up because of the purposely done terrible designs of some gundams and the space colonies, all designed for what young children could recognize as a national stereotype. It seems all the great adult things, tend to be the major spin off's or direct to video works.
