well no guyver, but I did discover an interesting Kickstarter for the three stooges... that at least is of interest to me. XD

It's possible and highly likely that Archanfel recognised the energy signature of the remover being activated that time in doctor shirai's lab. He was already in the vicinity after getting Barcas' report relayed via Shin and Purgstal. He's used one before so I am sure he would recognise it. That's a better theory. =)

With telepathy i don't think you even need a language. You just convey a thought directly, he seems to have the ability to link minds with any normal human if he desires. I think that's how he found out about Guyot's remover when he had no possible other source of information. Maybe while Guyot was in the processing tank, knocked out an vulnerable? Alky may of boded his time to see if he really would act on it or the activation of the Guyver units prompted him since the remover was useless prior to them being lost. As for the Japanese, just convenience for the sake of the plot no doubt.

Fried'rich must have heard all the jokes about this place
V Guyver replied to Kenji Murakami's topic in Guyver
That's a hilarious thing. There are plenty of countries and names with that problem when it comes to the english language. But that entire article is just wonderful. -
Probably from Imakarum; Masaki was Japanese, remember? He knew it before he met him, his conversation with Guyot rings prior. As for Barcas, I believe it was started as telepathy, but somehow he learned the same language as Barcas, or vice versa. Actually when it comes to media, most people know the same language magically. XD

Well we at least know he speaks Japanese. Actually, why he knows Japanese, I do not.

I think the color is permentant. Kinda like some genetic marker for the unit after bonding. it's possible the creators had that purposely for some practical reason. If zoalords had a color thing auro after becoming zoalords, his colors would of acted off like warning signs to the other council members.

Xi Gundam....maybe the cousin of Zeorymer?
V Guyver replied to LordSpleach's topic in Japanese Entertainment
The design for that Mobile suit was done by Yasuhiro MORIKI. Yasuhiro is the guy who redesigns the Zeorymer mechs for the OVA as the "Mechanical design" animator in production. -
True, but most fights have english menu's or are simple. But yeah, I would prefer localization. But every so often you do get a game that is worth importing, and thankfully not region blocked. I'm still realing over from the english translated Front Mission five never being ported over despite it's english friendly everything, and was region blocked too boot. It's a give or take in these situations. the guys at fightersgeneration seem to love it though.

It was quoted in an interview by one of the UK based Guyver fansites. Not even sure if the site is still up, guyver.uk or something like that.

Takaya did say the color was partially based on the host. But if you look at the case of Guyver I, he had no idea or preconceptions of the guyver unit, and it ended up the exact same color as the Guyver Unit. Even in the OVa and anime remakes, it was the same color scheme as Sho's Unit, and you can see Liskar and Agito's unit before activation aslo being Sho's color scheme. On the other hand we did see Guyver 0 come out with a green color, not sure if her knew what the unit was before activating it. But something had to of influenced the color, and it might of been any factor in personality or views of the unit.

Oh yes, we've talked about this before. Apparantly Guyver's Mangaka and Baoh's mangaka know each other in real life.

Also got a few monster mods out there. The monster mods really throw out a good range of monsters at you as if you were fighting zoanoids. oooh, now that i think about it, there are plenty of werewolf mods out there that convert the werewolf to a demon or werebear. Now we need a Zoanoid/Zoalord mod that converts through the same mechenism.

Oh wow, I haven't seen those two mods, and I have seen plenty! For the sumersaults and martial arts mod in the vid, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9421 Fists of the gods http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24535/? Oh and that one bit where it looked like he had vibroblades on hsi arms, were actually the ice attacks that stuck to the guyver. The weapons from fist of the gods are visual. BUT, you can get a mod that ads a glow to limbs and weapons. But cannot recall the name. edit: Sorry double posted when I didn't mean to.

Megasmasher, they have a shout command that can work the same. Check out the vastolord ichigo mod on youtube to see a sort of megasmasher attack. (though a shout for Guyver manga is technically the summons. XD) For a megasmasher, you need something similar to the shout that pushes and that burns, then make it bluish hue of white for color. The animation for a pressure cannon is already in the game. It's a matter of making a porjectile attack. The lighting magic animation is perfect for a pressure cannon, As for the blades, they do have this mod. About the closest i've seen thus far. Might become the basis of the vibrational swords , especially if the animations match up.

Good to hear. Skyrim the game is already good, exellent reply value. The player mods just make the game insanely good. Now you can practically costumize it into anything you want in gameplay or in looks. One of my favorite modders is this. Just check out his work on the Drakul & Madusa armors. Incredible. Having Guyver just add's to the awesomeness that is Skyrim modding. I'm combining the Guyver mod with the Heart breaker Mod (punch a fist through a enemies chest and remove their heart execution) mod when fighting certian demonic enemies. With a little more work, you can set up a small cast of back up characters to fill in the cast from Guyver.

If that were the case, it would be a heavy handed affair. But I doubt it's the case. Google has gone from being a people helping tool, to a purely bussiness one. They've fallen into the familair pattern of what happened when a company has too much money, and open trading. In other words, it's all about money! This folks is the new younger hipper microsoft, not the friend we knew in highschool.

I personally love Skyrim, but some Oblivian fans didn't like the changes. Besides, there are enough mods to help recreate some of that oblivian feel, like classes.

Pretty obvious what i mean by the top header. Guyver mods for skyrim. Kinda neat, worth downloading just to see the models and textures he used. http://jacksh123.mysinablog.com/?op=ArticleListing&postCategoryId=318407

I suppose it's to be expected.Once a company gets hit with copyright nuts, they become paranoid with their content. I think I've only avoided most fo my flags because THQ is gone and older games.

Love that last paragraph. That alone is worth reading Guyver. How many anime and manga have women who overreact to everything, are outright mean, or bitches, are sexually obsessed with themselves and use and abuse it? I can keep going on and on about how women are terribly represented in any media, either in the US or japan. But to think, a guy who once drew porn devaluing women is actually now their most honest representative... well minus Valkuria's constant loss of clothing... XD Really, it started off with generic characters, especially Mizuki, but now the females are some of the best written, and up until Valkyria, there wasn't much sexuality. It really is just the lack of female numbers in the series and of course, female monsters that we kinda lack, but it works. Overall, I think you've nailed most of this topic.

Unusually modest. It's all I have to say, despite the artist formerly working in romance and porn. You can tell he was a big scifi fan, and turned this all into a labor of love, not just quick cash in like many intended in the hero Genre. Second issue is on the women, the women are modest in most scenes, and for the most part they have distinctive personalities, and even act their age. The anime expanded on this and turned them into really stronger characters than Tetsuro and in many way better than Sho. Agito easily falls behind both women in personality, though he makes up for it in being the badass. My biggest gripe with Guyver though when it comes to women is that they are few and far between it's long run. Only 2 main females, 2 major female support characters, and one stock female assistant to Barcus. Also, they don't seem to be given equal treatment nor zoanoid forms. But despite this flaw, the few females, minus that one assistant have proven to be fairly intriguing.

You know? That trailer has everything we pretty much rip on hollywood about.

It's based of zerbebuth, so it's a kinda of mass produced weaker version. Most zoanoids have more than one power in that they usually have higher speed, strength, and durability than groups of men. They just tend to have one defining trademark as far as an outstanding ability they are noted for.
