i can't help but wonder how many people may be put off reading your blog by your page updates. it's your choice what you put in your blog of course, but i was thinking if you want people to read it then it might not be a good idea to update so often about your page count? what do you think? I don't want to be a downer or anything, if you find it satisfying then by all means continue. thats what its all about at the end of the day, having fun

Ryuki, I was just being polite. What I mean to say is: you are wrong. They ARE exact. Every cubic millimeter is accounted for. that's a fairly hollow post without clear evidence to back it up. please don't make posts like this, it is rude. this is not even on topic anyway, I stated my opinion, it's not your place to tell me whether my views are right or wrong. if you post again without reasonable and clear evidence, I shall have to ask another moderator to look at this case (as I am clearly biased.)

I don't remember it being released but there were plenty of images of the prototype models.

i don't think it would defeat the point because the way i see it, they made them over complicated just so that they could cheat in places. that is the whole point as far as i am concerned. they added all these little weird pieces onto the robots to make them look too complicated just so people couldn't study them and see that bits didn't quite fit. I don't think they are exact at all. but that is only because as far as I know they have not ever shown a steady shot where you can clearly see one form go to another and see exactly where each piece is going. my whole premise is based on the fact they purposely move the camera around too much and don't give you a decent view. while that youtube clip is interesting, it is so small and not very clear and after viewing it about 50 times, I am still struggling to figure out where certain bits are meant to have come from.

yeah those comic book sized version were really messed up. not sure what possessed viz to do that.
-
well thanks for the video, but those animations make it look more like a cop-out. the general shapes do seem to be travelling from one place to another, but various pieces seem to be growing out of nothing into much larger and more prominent pieces,

I would say yes. it's very well done if so, but some of the ambience don't look quite right. plus, I'm sure i would have known if they were making a second one.

then only concern i have right now is the fact that photo is at night time. for some reason, these producers think something can't be good unless it is night time. anyway, i am glad they are doing a reboot because i don't like sam raimi's style. he didn't do spiderman like i remember from the comic. I like colours as well. stylish colours. well this is a bit dark but the suit looks stylish. it looks like a sports outfit, almost like a MMX bikers getup. i would say typically more believable than that crazy thing in sam raimi's movie. I really want to see him actually make his equipment.

heh heh, I have no issues with christmas decorations. I don't put them up. my mum does some but i don't concern myself with it

yeah gotta hand it to steve wang, he did a good job with that! I was like "but toku warrior, we all seen that!" but then i clicked play and i was like "but it is cool so thanks for posting it and reminding me !!" ^_____^

wait? there is a new spiderman movie? I think that deserves it's own thread since this is the first i heard of it! can you put what details you know into a new thread?
-
i'm afraid it's not very clear. it could be mount minakami?
-
can we leave it at that for this topic please because it is the 'word of the week' topic. if you guys want to work together in PM, another thread, or some other way, that's fine.
-
your colouring skills has definitely improved a LOT. also your detail work is excellent. figure drawing still needs work though. I would imagine you've concentrated mostly on your details and colouring. not that it makes it look bad, it is a very nice work. very impressive dude

LOL, what makes you think I would let you? sounds interesting. well badger seems to be protecting you anyway.

that's it durendal! it's a childhood thing for me, because I never had the money for comic books so the only source of anything like that was the library and they had asterix and tintin. i guess they had them because they were 'cultural' because back then they never had any graphic novels or comic books, it wasn't appropriate for the library. thx kenji

i think you should start the anime club and allow it to stay where it is. once you create something, it takes on a life of it's own. wether that life is big or small, thats another matter. but anyway, when you start to get people visiting, you will likely meet somebody that would be suitable to take over. you won't know until it happens. somebody you never even expected to be responsible, may surprise you.

asterix it's written and drawn by goscinny and uderzo, french guys i believe. there are many. the one i chose this time is asterix and the normans. I can tell you all about ancient briton if you're interested. where they came from, where the tribes were, how ancient culture first started etc. do you think it would make a good thread?
-
I got an asterix book. since the ancient gaul was pretty much the same culture as ancient briton.

I was so happy to receive something so nice and not even expecting it ! kenji, thank you very much for this card it may be late but what does that matter when something is so well thought out and crafted.
