  1. do you mean when you give blood? harumph! a cup of tea. oh and of course you get the enormous sense of well-being at saving somebody's life.[emote=onion]huh[/emote] oh you mentioned biscuits how nice yes biscuits. it's quite cool actually because we have biscuits and cookies. a cookie is a specific type of biscuit. usually quite chunky and lumpy with bits in it like chocolate chip or raisins.
  2. i'm sure it's something to do with a capsule. if you look at his visor, it is kind of like the shape formed when you open a capsule.
  3. congrats dude i wish we could do that in the UK. donate for incentives. here, you are asked to donate blood but they won't give you a damn thing for it. it's part of my damn body.

this is the first time I have talked to a camera. I watched it back and noticed that I was fairly non-committal in places. I want to be more decisive. I guess it would help to imagine talking to somebody I already know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy12OdJtCzw
  5. it's not karma when you done nothing wrong. its a challenge to keep you alert.

something like that reminds me of a 'familiar'. you know like a witches cat. it's there to protect and guide you. so if it was around your ankle weighing you down, it was keeping you anchored for the moment. I would suggest trying to build a rapport with your badger. by the way red is the colour of the lower chakras concerned with instinct and protection. actually I'm interested that it wasn't black as that is the lowest and most protective. as it was red I think it means you don't need as much protection or restraint. I enjoyed reading your experience. to be honest I had forgotten about that. but I remember recommending those sites now.
  7. i barely scraped a C in english. they didn't know i was dyslexic and neither did I.

hah hah, I like it. I don't honestly know if I am able to choose a faux surname though. I don't think it's possible since I obviously have no Japanese parents, but maybe there is a process whereas a surname can be taken on. then I would need to look at what is available. I don't think Ryuki would be. I got my video camera today. excellent. now I need to decide on my subject. I'm thinking I want to offer a way to learn English. but I don't want to be too focused on English. this way, a person who is already good at English, can view the videos comfortably. I also want to offer a cultural window. so people can learn about my culture and hopefully ask questions to prompt me to do more interesting videos.

  15. firstly, concerning massive clumps of flesh, consider the snake that swallows its prey whole. they do not have deadly bacteria in their saliva like the komodo dragon. secondly, there would be no sense in a scavenger having saliva that would cause deadly infection in a live creature. they eat dead creatures. their bite may indirectly cause infection, but only about the same as any other creature.
  16. i was actually thinking about asking when it starts. 35 days? that would put it in february. i thought it starts january? or was i thinking of something else? I will watch it where i can.
  17. buraija? is that different from burajira then?
  18. happy new year kenji
  19. hold on, I'm a little mconfused. so if i have this right, buredoran's true identity is 'burajiru'? otherwise you got the wrong film! I haven't seen goseiger anyway so there you go
  20. ah thats really interesting! you know... we never had this kind of talk when the series was actually airing. i'm glad that we can at least talk about it! even if the series finished!
  21. ha ha, you know actually, you could go on for hours about beetles. I actually think we could find a lot of them in different places. I also had not thought about the gouraijers , or whatever they called them in power rangers. i think if you have any more, it might be a good idea to start a new thread about that specific subject. i honestly hadn't expected this many. and we don't want to take this too off topic after all.
  22. to be honest, i had forgotten about the discs.. but now through reading some of these posts I am starting to remember. I believe the discs held the power of the origami's in some fashion. as bobby said, they used some of the colour discs to control the other origami's. they could not use them without the discs? so the discs were like the key. so when they put the disc on their weapon, it is like they were channelling their power through the weapon? i'm not sure about this, I can't remember but do you think it is plausible?
  23. ah yes, right you are! i hadn't noticed that.
  24. no, I haven't been having any difficulty. maybe something with your connection?
  25. I also noticed that and i do believe it is interesting and relevant. I don't think we need to restrict this kind of discussion. we are after all using a discussion forum. it does seem that OOO is referencing a lot of past series and other tokusatsu. I think it is interesting to keep an eye out for other similarities. why do you think it is common for the stag and the rhino beetle to be placed together?
