hah hah, I like it. I don't honestly know if I am able to choose a faux surname though. I don't think it's possible since I obviously have no Japanese parents, but maybe there is a process whereas a surname can be taken on. then I would need to look at what is available. I don't think Ryuki would be. I got my video camera today. excellent. now I need to decide on my subject. I'm thinking I want to offer a way to learn English. but I don't want to be too focused on English. this way, a person who is already good at English, can view the videos comfortably. firstly, concerning massive clumps of flesh, consider the snake that swallows its prey whole. they do not have deadly bacteria in their saliva like the komodo dragon. secondly, there would be no sense in a scavenger having saliva that would cause deadly infection in a live creature. they eat dead creatures. their bite may indirectly cause infection, but only about the same as any other creature.

ha ha, you know actually, you could go on for hours about beetles. I actually think we could find a lot of them in different places. to be honest, i had forgotten about the discs.. but now through reading some of these posts I am starting to remember. I believe the discs held the power of the origami's in some fashion. as bobby said, they used some of the colour discs to control the other origami's. they could not use them without the discs? so the discs were like the key. so when they put the disc on their weapon, it is like they were channelling their power through the weapon? i'm not sure about this, I can't remember but do you think it is plausible?

I also noticed that and i do believe it is interesting and relevant. I don't think we need to restrict this kind of discussion. we are after all using a discussion forum. it does seem that OOO is referencing a lot of past series and other tokusatsu. I think it is interesting to keep an eye out for other similarities. why do you think it is common for the stag and the rhino beetle to be placed together?

let's all be clear just exactly what is being argued about here. from my perspective it appears rather petty. certainly not something to be getting so wound up about. darkguyver fan clearly expressed confusion about the discs in general. I believe bobby was simply offering some information, no matter what the nature of that information.

actually, the original used a rather ambiguous light source from above. which didn't make complete sense. the newer version uses the glowing orbs as a light source along with ambience. i think if i had wanted to spend more time on it, i could have made that light sourcing look mmore consistent, but i wanted to keep it simple.

don't worry about it, I only posted that for reference so you could see why i chose these colours this time. as for why i chose them back then.... the knowledge is no longer available having been obscured by the sands of time. hmm, if you think about it, there are similarities. a long haired guy who was a powerful good guy, something happen and turn him into a bad guy.

hey, i went and completely reworked the colours on this. a 20 minute job. kenji, I did this partly for your benefit. yes teh colours were pretty strong on the original. but imakarums proportions were inconsistent. so this one is better for that reason. it's a better quality image and now hopefully the colours are nicest.
