Guyver Four Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) The December 2013 issue of Shonen Ace magazine has released its latest chapter to the Guyver manga series. Edited November 22, 2013 by Guyver Four Quote
Larz Zahn Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I was bored until the end. Now I'm dying with curiosity! what did Sho sense?? And who would attack HIM!!? excitement. Quote
Jade Tatsu Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 It does look interesting... but as I'm sure many people have pointed out.... 11 pages... I'll take what I can get but 11 pages a month! Does Takaya have another job? Quote
*V Guyver Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 It does look interesting... but as I'm sure many people have pointed out.... 11 pages... I'll take what I can get but 11 pages a month! Does Takaya have another job? Probably. A lot of Manga artists do their own work, but when can't live off it do work on other manga's as an artist. That or he went back to working on manga porn again under another alias. Quote
Jade Tatsu Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Sigh... yeah... just.... I really hope he doesn't die or suffer other complications before he finishes because 11 pages for a monthly... while more than I can draw, is just not that great. Sorry for the very negative vibe. Continuation is good... just slow. Edited October 24, 2013 by Jade Tatsu Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Pretty understandable complaint, considering some manga are like, what, 50 pages monthly? I assumed Takaya had assistants like most other mangaka. Oh well. We really ought to try and get used to it now. At least he hasn't pulled any recap bullshit on us recently. The ending was rather strange and abrupt. Takaya quickly getting 2013's Guyver out the way? Anyway, my money's on Agito being the one attacking Guyot! Quote
Super Existence Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 More than likely it's Apollon as he mentioned that Guyot would lead him to the two rogues. I dare say he's going to slap some answers out of him. Is this version the Japanese version? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Since shou was doing wide range scans of the city and he seemed to locate something, it seems to me that shou and aptom are the ones blasting their way into guyot's base. Quote
Jade Tatsu Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 At first I thought it was something coming in to attack Aptom and Sho given the background in one of the scenes... then they continue talking as if they didn't notice the vortex above them.... but then Guyot... so it was rather confusing and my Japanese just isn't up to translating. Pretty understandable complaint, considering some manga are like, what, 50 pages monthly? Yeah, I thought most monthlys were 50 pages... at least 20! Quote
Cannibal Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) As my friend who knows Japanese says when translating this chapter: (maybe little spoiler, so here's some space) . . . Shou's sensors range here is 50 km and in the end he sense something (space distortion) north-west 45 km and then Melon Head have trouble. I made a map with this mentioned radius and the little red dot is 45 km north-west (>1MB): ------------- And also here's GIF of Aptom and Sho doing important stuff: Edited October 25, 2013 by Cannibal 1 Quote
Super Existence Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Space distortion. He's sensed Apollon translocating to Guyot. Quote
Salkafar Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Unless Valcuria just exploded. Or transformed in some unexpected way. Maybe her headaches are the control medallion trying to fight back against her mind. 1 Quote
Larz Zahn Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) 50 km range... Wow. That's... He can see far. So Apollyon is busting down Guyots door. I hope it'll be a 3 way battle when Sho and company get in the mix. also hope they don't accidently save Guyot or something. Edited October 25, 2013 by Larz Zahn Quote
Cannibal Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Unless Valcuria just exploded  Takaya can't be this good. Quote
Super Existence Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I wonder if Sho and Aptom will intercept, would be good to see all four converse in someway. Perhaps we might see an unveiling of Apollon. Quote
*guyverfan Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 i know, only 11pages, but it still looks meaty to me, i'm actually excited about this one because the next chapter would probably break away to two people having a conversation over a bowl of steaming soup in a noodle shop! 1 Quote
Larz Zahn Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I'm really thinking it'll go back to Mizuki and Tetsuro. Quote

Matt Bellamy Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Oh, wouldn't it be grand for Guyot to finally get what he deserves? I doubt it will actually happen at this point, but one can hope, yes? I am however hoping one thing happens here: Apollon's official reveal. It would be nice to finally clear that up... The Silha stuff made it a more more obvious... But an awesome 3-way fight would be a hell of a way to officially do it. Have his helmet be blown away, damaged or destroyed. 1 Quote
LordSpleach Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I think Guyot might get his just desserts at the end cause I believe he will the final boss. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Ok. So i was reading the chapter and i have a question. Did any one else think it was off when Aptom said "who?" When Sho was talking about Balcus? It could just be me tho, i had a hard time reading the translation this time i was pretty tired and i been fighting the flu or something. Just wanted to get a second opinion! Quote
*V Guyver Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I didn't read the translation, so that does peak my curiosity. Also, hope you feel better. Quote
Guyver0 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Assuming Apollyon is attacking Guyot what do you think his reason is for doing so? It can't be for a Zoacrystal because Guyot no longer has one. Also how did he know of Guyot's whereabouts? Not saying it isn't Apollyon, but these question do come to mind. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 (edited) How did Apollyon know the location of any Zoalords or their crystals? Or the ark? If he has the ability to sense others then easy answer. If he had cronus knowledge, he should know where all the chronus Zoalords are plus the ark. Only thing he would have trouble finding would be Guyots hideout. But time has passed. Already a few weeks to a few months so it still took time to find Guyot. Seriously tho, anybody else who read the chapter have a similar thought like mine? It's driving me crazy! (thanks v guyver) Edited November 7, 2013 by Larz Zahn Quote

(thanks v guyver) Well if it comes to pass that Imakirum is Apollyon or he is a being that is being controlled by Archefel's subconscious than yes he would know where the other Zoalord's are due to being able to access Chronos logs. However, if it was due to sensing; is there a reason he hasn't attacked Galenos, Jabril, and/or Krumeggnic? Also could Apollyon sense Guyot since he is now just a Protolord? I know Guyot could sense Murakami way back during the Relic's Point conflict, but wasn't that due to them being similar? Or did Apollyon track Guyot ever since the attack on the Odagiri Mansion? I know I am rambling and please don't think that I am saying I am right. It's just some questions that came to mind and I wanted to express. Edited November 7, 2013 by Guyver0 Quote
