Great song from the Phantom of the Opera. You just gotta love Gerard Butler. From singing as the Phantom to the great king Leonides who proclaims "This is Sparta!!." Now that's what you call talent.

In response to that, I offer this song. This is one of my favorite part:

I HATED Gerard Butler as the phantom. He always sang Mmmmmusic, again and again. The dragging of the M really got on my nerves. And they way Schumaker filmed it, especially the first trip down into the sub basements... it was such a waste. It was SO mechanical when it should have been magical. On stage, the candles arise from the fog/water, and it really feels like magic. In this movie, we have a camera on one end of the tunnel, stitch to the camera on the other, and presto candles lift from the water on cue and auto ignite. Everything was too crystal clear and shallow.

If I could have done that scene, I would have had the camera follow them into the tunnel, go over their heads-spin around, and face them as they come out the other side. Switch to a camera mounted above the water, near the front of the boat as it passes-have a faint puff of rolling mist across the water, and slowly have the candelabras arise. The flames would slowly ignite-from different candle nubs at different intervals. And DON'T use a wide angle lens; the background must blur a little to get that magic feeling. Some things must be perfectly sharp, others slightly out of focus, and slowed down. This is Phantom of the Opera! Spectacle is EVERYTHING!

Granted, I liked how they repositioned the chandelier scene, that was good. And the singing got way better after the chandelier. I loved the grave yard

Well, to each his own then. Anyway, another music that I liked. This is from Gwen Stafani, something which has less angst compared to her other songs. Gwen Stafani - 4 in the morning.

the gwen steafani won't play.

and that wham video....

if you lived in the uk, you would not be posting that video! :P

they play that every year over and over in all the shops, on the radio, all over the place, you can't get away from it and the other similar songs. I really hate it. if it was just on crhistmas day and christmas eve, then ok, but this is from the middle of november.

here you go guys, a song that really lifts my spirits right up to the sky!!

this song is so awesome it brings so many feelings here, it makes me feel exhilarated, it reminds me of times with my very dear loved ones and also brings memories of a brilliant anime that i watched, final fantasy unlimited.

please enjoy and turn your volume up as high as you can :D

wow that was pretty awesome!

so much going on!

Ho hum.... I'd imagine not everyone would like this song. This piece is particularly sad.

I take it that a few of our Tokusatsu loving members don't visit the site HJU or some of our members that do probbaly don't that often. So I am taking it upon myself to share this TMV with every one here. It is done by Trisan of the Hero Power Blog (giving credit where it is due). It's a really well done video and the song was a very good choice.

Hmm Breaking Benjamin eh. I'm not an avid visitor of HJU. Well, here's one song that I'd like. I like how they animate some of the parts here.

edit: Okay, that was the spoof version. This is the original version:

next time, I'm going to view the whole video before I post.

This is my favorite piece from Chopin's Nocturne. Nocturne in C sharp Minor. Although this version was a bit faster, I still loved it. His Vibrato is mesmerizing.

cheers durendal.

wow, that was amazing!

think i'd like to see more things like this.

the harmony between the two musicians was so beautiful, the relationship so detached and yet so intimate.

good stuff :D

I'm tempted to reply with michael jackson songs.. he he.

I won't though, we already have a MJ thread.
