December 6, 200916 yr Author Great song from the Phantom of the Opera. You just gotta love Gerard Butler. From singing as the Phantom to the great king Leonides who proclaims "This is Sparta!!." Now that's what you call talent. In response to that, I offer this song. This is one of my favorite part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHAauiJwwmU
December 6, 200916 yr Well this is my favorite song from the phantom of the opera, its very powerful with all the singers. I truely love this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cewERM4ei3E
December 10, 200916 yr One of the greatest music videos I've ever seen. It sure does bring back alot of memories.
December 10, 200916 yr Great song from the Phantom of the Opera. You just gotta love Gerard Butler. From singing as the Phantom to the great king Leonides who proclaims "This is Sparta!!." Now that's what you call talent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHAauiJwwmU I HATED Gerard Butler as the phantom. He always sang Mmmmmusic, again and again. The dragging of the M really got on my nerves. And they way Schumaker filmed it, especially the first trip down into the sub basements... it was such a waste. It was SO mechanical when it should have been magical. On stage, the candles arise from the fog/water, and it really feels like magic. In this movie, we have a camera on one end of the tunnel, stitch to the camera on the other, and presto candles lift from the water on cue and auto ignite. Everything was too crystal clear and shallow. If I could have done that scene, I would have had the camera follow them into the tunnel, go over their heads-spin around, and face them as they come out the other side. Switch to a camera mounted above the water, near the front of the boat as it passes-have a faint puff of rolling mist across the water, and slowly have the candelabras arise. The flames would slowly ignite-from different candle nubs at different intervals. And DON'T use a wide angle lens; the background must blur a little to get that magic feeling. Some things must be perfectly sharp, others slightly out of focus, and slowed down. This is Phantom of the Opera! Spectacle is EVERYTHING! Granted, I liked how they repositioned the chandelier scene, that was good. And the singing got way better after the chandelier. I loved the grave yard

Anyway, another music that I liked. This is from Gwen Stafani, something which has less angst compared to her other songs. December 13, 200916 yr Author Here's a classic. Wham - Last Christmas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3354flS1KJs
December 13, 200916 yr the gwen steafani won't play. and that wham video.... if you lived in the uk, you would not be posting that video! they play that every year over and over in all the shops, on the radio, all over the place, you can't get away from it and the other similar songs. I really hate it. if it was just on crhistmas day and christmas eve, then ok, but this is from the middle of november.

January 1, 201016 yr Author Ho hum.... I'd imagine not everyone would like this song. This piece is particularly sad.
January 1, 201016 yr I take it that a few of our Tokusatsu loving members don't visit the site HJU or some of our members that do probbaly don't that often. So I am taking it upon myself to share this TMV with every one here. It is done by Trisan of the Hero Power Blog (giving credit where it is due). It's a really well done video and the song was a very good choice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64XSJoEHfIg&feature=player_embedded
January 1, 201016 yr Author Hmm Breaking Benjamin eh. I'm not an avid visitor of HJU. Well, here's one song that I'd like. I like how they animate some of the parts here. edit: Okay, that was the spoof version. This is the original version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EXxMlIExpo next time, I'm going to view the whole video before I post. Edited January 1, 201016 yr by durendal
January 2, 201016 yr Author This is my favorite piece from Chopin's Nocturne. Nocturne in C sharp Minor. Although this version was a bit faster, I still loved it. His Vibrato is mesmerizing.
January 2, 201016 yr cheers durendal. wow, that was amazing! think i'd like to see more things like this. the harmony between the two musicians was so beautiful, the relationship so detached and yet so intimate.
