*Jess♥ Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 good luck larz on finding what you can, I hope it's not too long for you before you can rake in the dough. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 thanks ryuki, i really need to rake in some dough. lol. this job was catching me back up with bills and depts. so it looks like im gonna get behind again. o well. Quote
*BananaKing Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Ah Florida life is so relaxing for the king...nice weather, good food, slow old people driving and clogging up the lanes while going 20mph under the speed limit with their right blinker on all the while I'm desperately trying to pass them to speed down the road with my windows down and soak up the Florida sunshine...yep, life in Florida is good. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 that happened to me before... i was in a rush to college not to miss an all important test. i ended up driving on the sidewalk to pass the old guy. this i dont recommend... took out a tire and nearly hit a mean old lady. Quote
*BananaKing Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Yes well the King has a 2010 Corolla to think about and he'd rather not damage it. Its like I drive the car James Bond would drive if he were up middle class Quote
Larz Zahn Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 i had a grand am. but when i was done, there was nothing grand about it. except maybe the front passenger window. it was the only thing left standing when my car finally died. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Trust me, as a fellow Floridian, the old people here are not the best drivers in the world. Hell, they say that Rhode Islanders suck at driving cuz of the nice beautiful scenery but most drivers here are even worse. I live in a small town called Sebastian, about an hour-n-half away from BK, and the driving here is even worse with old people and drug heads. them and the local drunks. Lots of nice looking women though...especially after hours when beer is done for the night. Florida, a nice place to retire and visit, a bad place for you car. Quote
*BananaKing Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Beats around here...all we have is old people and a few robberys Quote
Larz Zahn Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 i must confess, when i lived in Deston Flordia, i didnt have any problems with old people driving. but yeah toku, there where a lot of good looking ladies. ooo i do remember one old man. he was crossing the street in front of me, o my gosh... it was so freakin hilarious. not in a mean way either. he was doing his best to hurry, but at his age the best was like a fast 6 inch foot shuffle. but his arms was just a pumping and he looked over at me and he grinned this really weird grin. this i'll never forget. Quote
Mirabilis Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I lived in Florida, before I moved up to Ohio and joined this site. Alot of memories in Florida. The Creek, the Ocean, the Bike Riding, the 2nd degree Sun Burn on my back, the Smashing my face in the street. Aww, good memories in Florida. There are many good things about it, and not so good things about it. I lived in Panama City, and then on Tyndall Air Force Base. I miss the Kak and Hungry Howies! Quote
*BananaKing Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Okay so this installment might be a bit too PG-13 for some people. It figures...when I finally find the perfect girl for me...well let's describe the day. You see I use an online social dating site because my school has a low women-guy ratio and cause of my busy schedule. (I think its 20% women) So I met a cool girl who's pretty much a female version of me. She's a bit quiet and timid, but I like doing the talking when its just the two of us. Now we hung out, walked around, talked, all day. We played cool glow in the dark mini golf and topped it off by seeing Dreamworks Megamind. (Good movie, very cute, very funny) Now she cuddles with my arm and right before I drop her off, the BK gets a little make-out. Now......she's 16.......for those out of america, we here have something called a "Law of Consent." (I don't know if you guys outside the states has the same thing. I'd assume you would.) Each state has its own bi-laws on the Law of Consent, but basically no one under the age of 18 can legally give consent to sexual activities. Now I don't want to get ahead of myself but this girl wanted me... I mean she wanted me I could tell since the movie. However the BK is also not an idiot. Even though I know she wanted me and I wanted her...its not legal and if we should get caught then our lives would be ruined and the only thing I'd be king of...is a tiny cell. So...I can't pursue anything...I mean I can try it for a while but I'm scared things might elevate and we might lose our heads. I mean shortly after dropping her off at home I thought things could work between us, no problem...see? Not thinking clearly...Maybe I should make a topic about this... Quote
Toku Warrior Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Well that sucks man. The best thing I can think of is to meet her family and, after some time passes and if you two are still VERY into one another, ask her folks for consent. That's the only way around the law of consent and so that you don't get slammed with a Statutory Rape charge. I wish you the best of luck though. Quote
*BananaKing Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Yeah well the fruit monarch already took care of it As much as it killed us, we agreed to just stay good friends. No matter what it wouldn't work out, there are things I need and want, and she couldn't provide them. Too bad though really, if her body was a little thinner and she was 18 then I'd have a BananaQueen...oh well. I guess I just have to keep scanning the potassium flavored horizon until I find one... Larz Zahn Posted December 6, 2010 Author Posted December 6, 2010 at times like these, it helps to tap into the infamous wisdom of the Zahns... yep i got nuthin. sorry dude. if there was a way i could help with your girl problem i'd jump to it. but the one who is Larz is worse off in this department than the fruitiest fruit monarch in all fruitdom. every time i get the nerve to ask a girl out, she either announces she's getting married (didnt even have a boyfriend the week before) or she's pregnant. or joining the air force. heh, and ironically, one girl did do all three. i havent neccessarily given up on romance, but i have put it on the back burner for a while. gonna get the maelstrom that is my life in order first, or at least try too. then we'll see. however, i will be so frusterated if it turns out that once i get a girl, that'll be the catylist to bring the formula that is my dream life together. who knows, im patient. Larz Zahn Posted December 6, 2010 Author Posted December 6, 2010 wwwoooooo hoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so proud of myself. i just read all 11 pages of our blog bk!! i had a hoot and a half! on a more sad slash pathetic note, did anyone realize that this page, page 11 takes place from now, back to january of 2010??? im kinda ashamed we havent filled up several pages with more useless rants of nothng in particular save for the ushering in of a new bananaless kingdom of heartless zombies who love to watch chick flicks. yes, i said that with a straight face. i dare you to make sense of it. on a serious note, one reason may be that there is nothing going on to report in my life, my job state is unchanged(which is sad, and Embarassing!) and nothing else has happened that warrants a full status report. oh well, guess i can always fall back on good ole reliable ranting. ooo!!!!!!!!! my church got a new pastor.... ok no new updates. (Stage whisper) Next. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Ohkay! update time.... ... ... ... ok im done! Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 in all seriousness. today was good but uneventful. i spent some time helping out a friend prepare for their kids christmas play. that basically means i scoured the net for all the songs that they needed. turns out it was slightly harder than i thought, limewire is in the middle of legal trouble, so their site is shutdown... hehe. actually they had it shutdown since october, and i just now realized it. goes to show you how much music i listen too! um... after i got the songs together i burned them to a disc, then typed out the skits.... outline i guess. there is no speaking parts except for the narrator, so i only had to type up that part, and then insert where the songs went. yeah that was my day. oh yeah! my power went out and my moms friend got dizzy, fell, and scratched up her arm pretty bad. shes 70 something so a fall is pretty brutal for her. so there. you now have the entire Larz Zahn itinerary.(or however you spell that stupid big word) Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 pretty boring day. sorry to say, nothing to report. i am looking forward to an interview tomorrow. Quote
*BananaKing Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Well this is a duo show so its time I did my part. Well another year has almost come and gone. You know life can be funny and irritating sometimes. I feel like my life is suffering from the Yin&Yang concept, everytime something good happens to me, something chaotic must balance it out. Its weird, but somehow makes sense....oh I'm sorry you were all expecting some sort of blog update weren't you? [emote=onion]what[/emote] My bad, got caught up in personal dilemas.... So yeah, the year is almost over. I've survived 10months at this new school and only recently have I felt challenged by the material. I'm somehow still getting only A's and B's and I now have more A's than be B's making me officially an A student. Otherwise, my holiday break will start a week from friday and it looks like I'll be getting a nintendo DSI, a microwave, and pokemon soulsilver  Larz, what're you getting? Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 well, if i have any say in it at all, i'll be getting nothing. but if my family continues to listen to my whiney requests like they've been doing, i'll probably get a couple of things. knowing my dad, something food related (heaven help me i dont know why) and going by my mom... um... i dunno. maybe a movie or something. meh, its a loosing battle i tell you. a conspiracey parents have against their children!!!! ignore when they say NO PRESENTS OR PARTYS and go ahead and get presents and set up a party. hey bk, no worries. i have that whole yin an yang thing too!! except, well... i use to believe in balance if i get something good, bad things will rain down on me like.. well, rain. and if something bad happens to me... well more bad stuff happens then. i'm guessin the universe follows the double negative making a positive route when dealing with little o me. hey bk! happy ha.. hanu.. hanau.. um. happy jewish holiday to you. er, has it started yet? i get confused dude. (but dont tell noone, they'll never know!) Quote
*BananaKing Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I think by now Channukah is actually over since it started so early this year but thank you very much for the sentiment. Its funny how some people are like that sometimes. You can tell them, "Nah I don't want italian for dinner" a dozen times and they'll surprise you with italian for dinner "because you gave us so many good hints..." Really? I thought no meant no, last time I checked we weren't in crazy town and no didn't mean, "yes with gusto!" Oh well On a completely unrelated matter, my car is finally fixed after 3 days of fixing. (Long wait I know ) I didn't remember how life was without a car...I don't like it...a king isn't supposed to walk everywhere Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 10, 2010 Author Posted December 10, 2010 a king isnt suppose to drive himself either. penalty of royality. you have to be chauffered everywhere. today has been pretty crappy. my interview didnt go well, pretty sure i wont be getting that call, bk you actually know some about this, remember that phone call i told yo about? well, it happened again. whats even more aggraveting is i cant find any available jobs in my area, heck, i traveled over three states to get a job, and yet, now i cant find any! no matter where i go to or who i ask, i get turned down... im starting to think i got a bullseye on my forehead. and to top it off, a water pipe broke under the trailer so i had to go spurlunking to fix it. face full of water is not fun i tell you! not fun! Quote
Larz Zahn Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 Tonight, well... last night... uh. Friday dec 10 was great. my dad had an old friend comeover, the very one who got me interested in battletech, and tonight he, my dad, two of my friends and i sat down, and started our first spacebattle!! yeah yeah i know, im all geeky right now but im cool with it. i played battletech since i was 10, -25.... so 15 years now, i think. and tonight was the first time any of us ever tried a version of the game called aerotech. its basically the outerspace version of battletech, but with fighters and capital ships. now all we did was use four fighters, my dad and his friend on one side, my friends on the other, i opted to stay out to keep teh sides even, and to gm the game. we were pretty much learning as we went too, it took forever to get into the pattern of things. plus we did argue a bit and that REALLY slowed up things. but once it finally kicked off, oooo it was so worth it. bad thing is, it got pretty late so we have to postpone it too. after my dad's friend left he had me take over for him, and in my infinite wisdom, i took a gamble on a risky move attacking one of their fighters. i knew it left me wide open for a blistering attack, but i felt it was worth the chance. and i guessed right, i nailed the suckers fuel tank!!! but.... it didnt blow, i needed to roll a 10 and wound up with a snakes eyes... drat. oh well. i got smoked so bad but im still doing better than the guy i hit, so im really psyched about next friday!! NNNNEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXXXTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
*BananaKing Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Turns out there's a chance I can maybe extend my break by 2 days. I have a chance to get an early flight home. Your battletech story brought my back to my warhammer days. All I know is that March is going to be one sweet month down here. My friend Bob from Jersey comes back from his year trip to South Korea. He'll be bringing me back the magic deck and the munchkin decks But ssshhh Indiana Jones is on! All 4 of them all weekend [emote=onion]thumb[/emote] Quote
