I was thinking that alot of other forumns I've been to possess roleplay sections where fans can come up with their own characters and storylines and play them out for fun, perhaps we could that here as well? It may help attract more Guyver fans to the forumn AND it would give us an excuse to place our own OCs into play. We could do scenes within the storyline of the original Guyver universe from the manga or we could try doing stories with the Warrior Guyver & W'kar universes (if their creators are okay with that). Is that possible for us to do here

Ok guys and gals, I can apply for allowing the board been viable inside a mobile app by the people who design the software behind the forum (so in other words in the future if this works out you can simply click a icon on your phone for the forum). The issue is the NSFW section (the adult section) of the site simply is a no no and will result in the application not going through. So this is a heads up that by next weekend if you for whatever reason want a copy of what is this section of the board now is the time to grab it. Next weekend I will be removing that section of the board.

The Guyver Information Page is going to replace the Stars Guyver Page on the front page of the website. Here at the important points for the new site to live up too: 1) People new to Guyver/ the site and that aren't going to know about Stars Guyver Page. That site has being down since 2002 and hosted here since 2003. Calling the site Guyver Information Page is simple and removes confusion. 2) The old website and the current Stars Page run by me hasn't being updated in a long time and doesn't even have info about the 2005 anime. any way you could delete all users who have been a member for over a year and not posted once? perhaps these take up space and contribute to some of the problems that can arise.... just an idea.

Ok... my "minor" update has turned into a complete "**** it, the site needs to be fixed properly" after discovering how bad the site looks in IE 10and Firefox... iPhone too . So for the last 2 days I've being coming up with a new template to both improve the browsing of the site and the look. it's a lot of work to Edit up though so links are not going to work great for the next week as I'll be working on this over the next few days. I've been a member of bioWeapons Webring for ages. Now a days I do not depend on webrings for trafic but many new Guyver sites do. Today I'd a look over the old BioWepaons ring and to my surprise David has left it alone so long that it's now run by Sexy Allen??? I visted Allan's site and he is a webring addict with over 1000 rings.... No idea who that is and W'Kar (A.KA. Allen Lucas) claims to have NOTHING to do with it what so ever. Greetings and Salutations folks! As you probably already know, Brian O'Sullivan, the creator of the site, stepped down some time ago, and will not be participating in updating/creating for the site. Soon, we will be moving out from under him completely, and putting the site under our full control. Once the move happens, we will hopfully be updating more frequently, and have a few new features. Hello all members, Due to recent BOT activity I'm going to be doing a purge of all accounts created in the last 3 months that have a ZERO post count. This will be happening in 2 weeks time. If you are a new member of the board and are reading this, introduce yourself and then the account won't be purged. FYI Next Month I'll be extending this to all Accounts on the board over 2 months old that have never posted (this is to both tidy the database and free up names to people who might want them). Members though who have signed up for the translations will be excluded from any purging.

I did a cleanup on the main front page today. I went through our keywords because quit frankly, they were a mess. they were not focused enough and had words like 'blade' 'den-o' etc. which is fine, but when you look at a keyword list and see so many, they need to be more focused. I knocked 'the guyver net' off of the page altogether because that domain has been dead for a while. I've replaced it with 'guyverboard' in deference to our history and in keeping with the forum and how members refer to it. I've also added Project Toku Wiki to the front page as I feel it is definitely deserving of the proper title. I wish to rebrand the wiki by replacing the banner at the top…

It seems that I can't post linked pictures with thumbnail preview via standard forum embed code? In the coming month to 3 months I'll be moving WarriorGuyver.com to a new hosting site. The reaosn being the new hosting sites offer is less than 1/4 that of what I'm paying for this site to run right now and offers more.... it's a no brainer and for me as the guy who pays for the site a must. When I have a more fixed date I'll let you all know.

I saw something that worried me a little. a member had replied to an old topic with useful and relevant information and even a picture that had effectively been requested, yet was chastised for it. I understand that necroposting can be frowned upon in many places, but this forum is not generally active so it concerns me that taking this stance is something that this forum really does not benefit from. if anything, we want to encourage more posting, right?

We all know that Sully is working his butt off with editing all ~500+ pages of the main wg.com fan fiction site. It would be safe to assume that most of those pages are datafile's and most of the editing would be updating various statistics and some display formatting and other such laborious tasks. Something that is distracting Sully for his main responsibility around here...saying "No Comment " at every instance and writing more fan fics. So in order to facilitate Sully in doing his main job, I propose that using a wiki-style database would be an apt way of helping out in managing datafiles and even the fan-fics themselves. I've uploaded the Guyver Fan Archive to the main WG.com server and have added a few things sent to me which I never had time to update until now (sorry to those who litrally waited a year for this, should happen alot more often now). Planned update to the message board is on hold, trouble getting the PHP database to link to an SQL database on the WG.com server. E-mails support and waiting for a responce. Will let you know when its about to happen and when the board will be down - hope to get this sorted by next Sunday.
