Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum

A forum you can debate science theories about the Guyver or anything science based that you wish to discuss.

  1. Started by Spartan Warlord,

I no the Guyver Unit brings the host to peak phsical perfomance then i also assume the W'kar and its repo's so how come Greg was training Fighter Guyver *sorry 4got his name* making him cut down trees without his unit to strenghten him so he would be stronger in his unit...but surely it should make no difference or was Greg just being an ass??

  2. Started by Kamui de' Tempest,

I was tossing around the idea of a Guyver enhanced like dark nova, but instead of a singularity i was trying for a Black Body. I can't seem to get how to work it into a df format and how it would translate into stats and such. In my fanfic, it was a unit that was supposed to rival the WG. It is based on the Type 4 Warrior unit. If anyone could shot some ideas on how they think it might work out to get my own creative juices flowing, that would be greatly appriciated.

I don't know if this question has come up before but, any science speculations on what would happen if a Gigantic unit was controlling a Relic while it was destroyed along with the Gigantic? Could it be possible for the Gigantic to come out in the end with a third control medal or maybe an even more powerful armor with a lot more durablility? I was thinking that it could be possible that if not a third control medal, that maybe his current two would find a way of integrating the armor of the new Relic into itself somehow. I know this has never been brought up in the manga or anime so its all scientific speculations. Any curious ideas?

DARPA (The number one US military research and development company) wants to create Unkillable Soldiers, mimicing the abilities of animals and other life forms. So what do you guys think of this line of research?

  6. Started by Guyver0,

This popped in my head one day and it's been nagging me ever sense. I was wondering if the Unit ever bonded with someone who had a disease such as cancer, AIDS, leukemia, etc. Would the unit possibly remove it because the disease is attacking it's host and/or doing more bad than good. I know it may sound weird but like I said at the start its been bothering me. Anyways I'll leave you all to it.

What happens to the human body under Acear units since they are not bonded to their hosts? Are organs recessed? Or are they literally just wearing armor?

  9. Started by gelionlegends,

hi all i was wondering if someone would help with the control medal on the guyvers. i was watching the new anime series and i showed a scene in which the control medal acted on its own in response to sho wanting to stop a bullet, and the scene showed shos brain and tendrils connecting the two together. the scene looked like the CM either did the calculations and then transfered the info to the head laser to fire and move the head for the best angel to hit the object. well i understand that the CM monitors and controls the functions and the symbiote organism from eating the host. activating the weapons and regenerating lost or destroyed body parts or the body from store…

I've never really understood this topic. I can understand the HSL is a more advanced power system than the Gravity Controller, but what I don't get is if they could create such a device why couldn't the Gravity Controller be updated more than it was? Surely, being a larger object than the Control Medallion it should be able to handle a greater level of power. Anyways, what form does the HSL take in the CM? What section is it in? Also, if someone managed to like, dissect a WG host, could they find the HSL; if so, where would it be and what would it look like?

  11. http://www.transhumanism.org/index.php/WTA/index/ Alright; I do not know if this site has ever made it to the forums or not but I wanted to contribute some scifi-turned-real link and here it is!!! Right from the site: "The World Transhumanist Association is an international nonprofit membership organization which advocates the ethical use of technology to expand human capacities...." SO; what could this mean? Well, is groups like these spring up around the world I'd say someday I'll be able to walk into WalMart (Which has everything for sale except babies.) and buy an implant to help me rule the world. Or better yet! Genetically engineer my own prodigy-child! Anyway,…

I have a question, when W'Kar reverts his unit into clothing, what happens to his control Medal? As far as I know, Guyver's can't change or manipulate their control medals..

i noticed that when the gigantic armour is used there are depressions either in the sides nearest the arms or in the middle like Ultimus has. these look like the control orbs i.e. CM or gravity control orb, though in dreadnoughts case it looks like his matrix. well i would like to know are these serving any purpose like a weaker mega smasher or a powerful energy or gravity weapon or they just look good. then do these orbs effect the opening of the chest plates for the smasher, that and maybe enhance the attack or not at all? yeah it does sound stupied but i noticed them and had to wonder what they did or not.

  14. well by this i'm trying to understand the how the zoanoid is created i do know they us viruses to change the person but how do they decide what abilities they have and form. like if the person has powerful telepathy or telekinesis and can control an element like lighting as Purg'stall can, would chronos or creators focus on enhancing that power and this decides the form? like if i were to use an example like jean grey or powergirl who has all those superhuman abilities, what would they focus on improving on and would they make the form humanoid or less. that and what class would they be made into like low-level, hyper, neo-hyper, zoalord enhanced hyper, proto zoalord,…

I'm in the process of creating a new guyver unit for a fan-fic of mine and wanted to post this up to try and get some help from the WG Nation as I like to think of all of us here at the board. The design of the unit is to have its main power source be solar energy which it can channel through specialized crystals installed through out the unit. Any thoughts as to abilities or attacks that would be unique to this unit would be greatly appreciated since my knowledge of science is somewhat limited. Let me know what ya think.

I'm not sure if this topic belongs here or in the Warrior Guyver section, but since her Zoalord abilities are underdeveloped, if she got hold of a Warrior Guyver unit, how powerful would she become since she's underdeveloped?

  17. I'm not sure if this is the right place but my question is about when the unit bonds with the host it boosts and such like the strength up to 100 is that the max. That and if a character say ranma 1/2 or dragonball who has something like strength of 2 or more men has the unit on them does it still go up to 100 and ignore the strength the person already has? Or would the unit add 100 to the base level making it 102 same with the speed and durability would they stay the same as normal guyver levels or be added to. Well these people aren't really the normal human like in the guyver as they can control their ki to enhance their bodies abilities like strength and speed as …

  18. by the subject i would like to understand more on the mkII that is used on some of the guyvers upgrading them. does this mean that whatever the MKII comes from it uses the tech advancements to upgrade the unit. does it also try to improve what the host feels that it needs improving like the speed or hsl it does or doesn't have? so would the durability of the armour increase as well as other abilities? can't remember what stories it appears in but does the MKII work on any type of guyver like WG and NG? sorry i just forgot would it be possible for a data file on the MKII like there is on the other small items. if there is one where abouts is it please. does the the …

I was re-reading 7DOH...and when max was checking out fiona it mentioned that "The Warrior Unit eliminated all uneeded body fat and tissue"...does only the Warrior Unit do this... So if a really fat person bonding with the Unit would get an instant weight loss cure (who needs a diet lol)...but also could it work in reverse meaning someone who was underweight like a size 0 the Unit would gain the right amount of weight needed for the body to be in peak physical condition (if so i guess catwalk models wouldnt approve)...any thoughts??

  22. Ok from reading differant sites on the web I found out that the gravity controler actual controls the energy flow of the Guyver. Or my basic understanding of the transaltion. My question is what would be the differance in avabile energy and energy output if the gravity controler was a Zoa power crystal? I was thinking of this: Crystal absorbs ambiant energy of surronding area which would give the following benfits: increased avaible energy for weapons and boosted stats increased damage output for weapon systems Alt energy based attacks Alt defense system IE energy shield Increased flight and speed rates Regn would increase becuase of increased energy in the armo…

How would the various guyvers match up aganist the marvel characters? I have been toying with this idea for quite some time. Here are some of my match ups Thor Vs. Dreadnought= Dready wins Hulk Vs. Zeus= Zeus wins Adam Warlock vs. Guardian= Guardian wins I could have read this wrong but I don't see the marvel heroes beating guyvers apropriate to their power class. Am I wrong. On second thought A Celestial vs. Dreadnought= possible draw/win for the celestial Zeus Vs. Thanos= Thanos wins

I have a question about the exhaust ports on Guyvers. I know on Guyvers they exhaust any heat or waste from the ports on or around the face, but when in Gigantic forms, it would seem they also exhale steam through ends of their shoulder pods as well. Or at least, that is what it seems on the Anime. Did anyone else notice that? If so, its understandable. I can't imagine them with their large bodies exhaling all waste and steam through the small ports on or around the face.
