Interestingly enough I don?t believe we?ve really discussed this particular topic yet. I haven?t went back over the anime to check but it does seem it really doesn?t have the dissolving Zoanoid aspect really. I can?t recall ever seeing them dissolve and I definitely recall corpses not dissolving long after they?d died. It?s definitely not as fast or pronounced as with manga. At first glance you just take into account it dissolves them but in chapter 4 of the First Volume of Manga (the one where Zerebubuse shows up), we see several Chronos Combatants dissolve and their armor and the grass they were lying on goes with them. This begs the question what all can be dissol…

This one is sort of relevant now since I'm working on something that deals with this. Is it possible for a Unit to only react with a certain DNA pattern? That is, with a single person and only that person so even if a power hungry idiot wanted to activate it, he couldn't?

  3. I feel that Warrior Guyver Vamore should not have the power level that he apparently has (this is from information that I had written for a previous topic discussing BEP (Bio-energy potential) and APP (Applied Power potential). The reason being we all know that a Low Level (non-hyper) zoanoid is Stronger than a human this is why. For Zoanoid to transform into a Zoanoid the BEP must be tapped in order to initiate and sustain the Transformation of the zoinoid, this is all a result of the zoanoid processing procedure along with the Genetic code that will define the type of low-level zoanoid to be created. When a Human begins the transformation into a Low level Zoaniod the BE…

I was thinking about how Chronos created Enzyme with the specific purpose to kill the guyver with its armor eating enzymes. On several occasions it proved effective, but enzyme can always be killed from long range with a Guyver's megasmasher, or pressure cannon. So I figured what of another zoanoid was created specifically for the purpose to kill a guyver, but is much stronger than any enzyme zoanoid ever created. But unlike the enzyme, it would infect the guyver with a virus, one that would inhibit it from healing itself and the host from all injuries. Just think if a guyver couldn't heal itself, how could it survive, let alone the host

This isn't compleatly guyver related, but I don't know where else to put this. I'm working on an alien race for a story I'm writing, one that lives on a world with very little mountains at all, 95& of the landmass is flat and relitively smooth. The dominant lifeforms on this planet have evolved a unique source of locomotion.. wheels. Yes, you heard me, Biological wheels.. The creatures have a 3 ft wide by 4 foot long oblong base, with the wheels located at roughly the same places as most cars we have today. In the middle of the front half of this base, it extends into an almost humanoid torso, but the lower arms are larger in comparison to the rest of the arm than a…

I am almost certain someone must have discussed this before. But I don?t know, so: We?re pretty sure the Zoanoid names don?t really mean anything in particular. But how about the Zoalord names? Alkanf?r (Alcanphel, Arkanfael) - Now if this is based in Latin... Arcanum meaning secret, hidden, hermetic; and Fer meaning bile, venom, poison, he?d be the "Hidden poison" or "Secret bitterness" of mankind. The affix "fer" might also be considered a reference to the latin word for "cat", as a reference to some of his catlike traits (pointy ears, slit-like pupils). Arcane fairy? He does sort of look elf-like, too. Even in his battle-form. .... Richard Guyot seems like a ver…

First off I'd like to ask aboutsome interpretations I've seen of the Pressure cannon exploding its target. Maybe I'm missing something but from what I've seen it makes nice clean over penetration style holes in things. Is there somewhere this explosive effect is shown I'm just unaware of? As Young Guyver has explained to us its operating priciple involves the creation of a small singularity. As we can see when G3 hits Zektoll with one on page 144-145 of Dark Masters when it pushes Zektoll back at least a foot despite his impact absorbing armor, bracing himself, and mass it also has some quite noticeable momentum to it. Page 108 of Revenge of Chronos confirms that the…

I heard a topic on this board about a clone of Sho being absorbed by the Guyver CM. Would it do this with other hostile organisms? One example of an hostile organism i can think of are the Facehuggers from the Alien movies. How would the unit react to this?

I've never understood how a g-unit in its dormant state is activated. Is there a special trigger somewhere on it, or does the unit only bond to those people who it finds physically compadible?

I was wondering, if the hosts of two guyvers didn't speak each other's native language, would they be able to understand one another using the organisms on their backs? Or would it still seem that they are speaking a foreign language?

Besides Gyro, Alkanphel, and Imakarum, do any of the other zoalords show their true forms at anytime in the manga. I'd like to see Waferdanos in his true appearance.

How long has the Guyver comic book been running? I think it's around ten years now. Since Viz stopped translating the comic (jerks) I'm wondering if Sho and company have aged any. Is Sho a adult now or is he still 16 ? Cuz it seems a littie hard to believe that a ten year long comic could take place in one year. -the first rule of fat club-

Something occured to me when i was watching Guyver 2:Dark Hero a while back. Shawn mentions that the unit seems to drive him to violence...like it WANTS blood. Now, while this is never mention in the manga or anime (as far as i know), do you think that this is true...that the creators DELIBRATELY imprinted the Units with a taste for violence? Or is it merely a side effect of the inherently violent nature of man???

  20. My theory is that the guyver different physical appearance is due to the personality and physical attibutes of the host, seeing how every dormant unit G is the same size and shape. please share your thoughts

I seem to be on the subject of female Guyvers today, dunno why. I guess because I am in a very deep thinking mode today. What do you think the GUYVER would equip a female human with. I'm just thinking how it would obviously give the male human a broader form to able to take more damage, and more power to deal greater attacks. With a female it might be different. More stream lined, set to litterally fit to the form of its host rather than make it taller, allowing the host a greater agile movement to dodge attacks. In my opinion I think it would give her the standard: Bio-Blades Mega Smashers Head Laser Orbital Belt Presure Cannon Things I think the armor would al…

Ok I was just watching the OVA and noticed that when Valcuria knocks Sho into Third Block before Sho notices Mitzuki the sensory orbs swivel about. Also in the anime and the manga I've noticed alot of the time the sensory orbs move before the Guyver notices something or most of the time they are kinda facing forward. So I was wondering. Are the sensory orbs the Guyvers true eyes? Are the eye plates themselves just a viewing screen of sorts so the host can view what the sensory orbs are picking up? I think thats the case cause even when Sho fought Enzyme II half the Guyvers head was still intact and so he still did have one sensory orb. I hope someone can clear this up fo…

Hey, heres a really wierd idea. You know how the Guyver makes it's own little place in your head when it bonds with you? In the matrix whatever happens to your mind happens to you in real life...so what if someone inside the matrix was to bond with the Guyver? Just a wierd little idea...hehe....hopefully get some responses...I've actually had long debates about this idea...
