I was browsing my local Barnes & Noble the other day when I came across The Singularity Is Near by Ray Kurzweil. I have to say it is a rather unique book. You can check what the book is about at http://www.singularity.com in case you're interested but don't feel like springing the $30.00.

Ok, I once posted this awhile back but hackers got to it. The regeneration of the Guyver is aactually impressive as well as know. Guyvers seem to regenerate small cuts and scrapes in less than a minute and massive chest wounds within a few. Guyver1 when he had his chest impaled by Enzyme 1, noticed how fast his chest was healing. In a fight like that minutes seem like hours. So it probably wasn't that long. Then when Guyver 3 had one of his chest plates destroyed by Gaster, it took longer but noticeable. My point is that Guyvers seem to regenerate thousands of times faster than a human can. But now we go to the Warrior Guyver. Let's assume that to regenerate an arm ta…

Here's a subject of some controversy as to what are humans capable of? Let's start with strength. Usually when referencing how strong a character is we use multiples of man power but not everyone agrees on the figures. The predominant figure used, like in comics, etc, is that one man equals the ability to lift, with arms fully extended over one's head, a mass of up to 800 pounds. The actual world record for this type of lifting is just a little over 700 something pounds. Another real world example is the present record for a squat, basically having the weigh bar over your shoulders as you squat and then stand back up, which is 1008 pounds. That's a half ton supported…

Ok, we know that Fighter Guyver was enhanced with Mk. II by the Creator ship when his control medal was damaged by the leader Jy-Taki. So what would happen if he had the Matrix enhance his control medal instead? Of course it would be far longer to enhance. Now how powerful would the Warrior Fighter Guyver be? He was around 6 to 8x power level. Do you think the Matrix would recover some of the lost abilities the True W'Kar unit had? I mean the Matrix might give Fighter Guyver a HSL system with a Darmon backup, combned with a recovered Eenergy Draining system, might be useful. On top of that with the Hyperspace Orb useless, do you think the Matrix might make that into a w…

Seems someone has patented what is basically a UFO propulsion system. This is either genius or another demonstration why the government is controlled by idiots. US Patent - Space vehicle propelled by the pressure of inflationary vacuum state What do you think?

The reason i am asking this question is because at the moment at least 2 zoalords have survived aganist the odds! Namely Gyou and Imakarum. At first I compared a Zoalords Zoa-crystal to a Guyvers cm, but a Guyver cannot survive without a cm, yet Gyou is without a Zoa-crytal and did have a hole blasted through his chest? It is likely that if a Guyvers cm is damaged it is beyond repair, yet Alkanphel can now repair his Zoa-crystals in his creator processing tank and speed up the process using the Ark! So who is more immortal?

I'm wondering, I haven't seen Alkanphel in action, the manga's I have don't show alkanphel yet, i was wondering if someone could tell me his Abilities, power and techniques

Any official statistics regarding strength levels of gigantics compared to regular guyvers? I know, I know, i've posted similar strength topics before, what can I say i'm obsessed with figures. However as always, i have my reasons for asking these questions! My particular interest is in the difference between regular guyver and gigantic guyver mega smasher power! Considering Alkanphel can repel 3 regular guyver mega smasher blasts with a simple wave of the hand, its a little worrying as to how a gigantic is ever going to stand a chance against him! I know the gigantic mega smasher blast is significantly more powerful than the regular guyver blast, but does the power …

Here is a rather superficial question that I has been nagging at me for some time. We know that guyvers can't regenerate clothes, but do regenerate the body. That's fact, but as with anything the devil is in the detail, in regards to how they regenerate. If a guyver was to have long nails, the summon the armour, would the armour shorten the nails for the sake of combat effectiveness Or in the case of full-body destruction, grow them back to a certain length, or not alter them at all If a guyver was to have specially treated hair, say a perm , then after summoning and discarding the guyver unit, would the hair be stripped of non-naturally occuring chemicals or th…

This topic is related to the "Guyver's or Chronos" thread in the Guyver discussion section and in particular Zeo's post! It was brought to my attention by Zeo, that 3 Zoalords assassinate another in the manga. Now I'm not disagreeing with Zeo or questioning whether this is the official storyline or not (even though i did at first, but if anything this explanation makes perfect sense). However the reason why I thought this plot was strange was because I thought that Zoalords were telepathically linked, even to the point of reading each others minds! Ok maybe the 11 man-made Zoalords cannot read each others minds, but I would of thought that Alkanphel could. After all …

Im not sure if this has been brought up, i know that people have guessed what his abilites are. But i was wondering since balcus found alky before their was any modern technology 2 produce a zoaform, was their any left over creator tech that was used 2 process him? If thats the case wouldnt that mean he would be somewhat stronger than the other zoaforms that he processed?

I have thought about posting this topic for a while now. After all the talk about measuring a guyvers physical strength and the effects the hosts muscles have on the unit, my next question is, what does it take to be a zoanoid? The anime, as always, is a big influence on this topic, here I go! Before becoming guyver 2 the anime data files state that lisker had trained to become a "hyper zoanoid". Does this mean that a human that has gone through some physical training has a higher probability of successfully going through the zoanoid process than those that have not trained? Or is the success of going through the zoanoid process entirely down to having the right gene…

I want to ask anyone if they know of any official statistics or your own opinions regarding the physical strength (excluding weapons) of the guyver unit compared to the normal human being. The prompt for this question is the data files at the end of each episode of the guyver anime. Some of the zoanoid data files give statistics on there strength, eg Gregole - Muscle power is 15 times that of a normal human being Vamore - Muscle power is 5 times the strength of a normal human being Ramotith - Enhanced muscle power is 10 times that of normal human beings So you see my point, what is the muscle power of the guyver? I appreciate this is a very tricky question because…

I am pretty sure I have seen this mentioned in a previous topic, however I can't remember the explanation being that clear, so here goes my question. How is it that in the manga books Neo Zx-tole was able to survive a double mega smasher from Guyver 3? Yet in earlier books, Guyver 3 fired a single mega smasher blast at Gyou. As a result Gyou was quite badly injured, but Zx tole who took a double blast, seemed to emerge without a scratch! This seems a bit odd to me. I can imagine that both Zx-tole and Gyuo have force shields, but I would expect Gyou's to be more powerful as he is a zoalord, a superior creation. Even if Zx-tole had been reprocessed, he's still only a …

In the anime, episode four when Sho was fighting against the Hyper Zoanod Team Five I had an intresting thought. Did Guyot sommon that rain storm himself to provide cover for team five? And in the next episode where all the kids claimed to had have no memory of the incident could Guyot have brainwashed all of them with his power?

I've always wondered if a Guyver and a another Guyver were to have a child would the child it self be a Guyver? maybe a Human/Guyver hybrid? I know female Guyvers can't have children.....unless the unit is inactive during the gestation period of the child. With the unit inactive the child could mature to full term without the unit destroying it. Plus there is always the chance that a more advanced unit, like a Warrior unit, is capapble of dual hosting like the Apothecary units are. Like if the host was not only willing but eager to have a kid. Any thoughts on the subject? This is for everyone not just the Mods. P.S. just thought of this what if they can and the childre…

I have a question for you all to ponder. Are the creator aliens immortal, or do they just have a life span just slightly more extended then ours. If these aliens could create zoanoids, guyvers, and pretty much master the secrets of genetic prosperity, then it would seen logical. But I need some else's opinion.

I've been thinking (uh oh) at the end of episode six when Mizuki is hugging Guyver I I thought of something: Do you think you can feel any body temperature coming from the Guyver? The Guyver creature IS a living creature and I don't see why it can't give off heat. Another thing is what if one of the Guyvers is in the Sahara desert which is REALLY HOT . Does the heat make it even hotter inside the Guyver or does it give the host some sort of cooling design incase the host shows signs of over heating or heat stroke? What if a Guyver was in Antartica where it's REALLY COLD (gone greenish blue from the cold) does the Guyver heat up the inside it so Sho or Agito don't get…

I know the answer is "the creators brought it with them" but have you ever wonder WHERE they got that purpole stuff inside? I've always thought about this, I think the purpole tenticale thing came from someplace while the control medal and casing is a invention of the Creators. I'll start calling the purpole stuff the "slime". I like to think that the slime stuff is an alien creature. The creature is just one big slime creature that absorbs other organisms for energy (an energy absorber). The Creators saw the this organism and would cut off a piece of it with tools. After study of it they realized it had huge amounts of energy inside of it that could be unlocked. So they…

This one is sort of relevant now since I'm working on something that deals with this. Is it possible for a Unit to only react with a certain DNA pattern? That is, with a single person and only that person so even if a power hungry idiot wanted to activate it, he couldn't?
