Have you ever reported a bad restaurant? Have you ever called the health department? Now what I mean by bad is that they're cooking food that isn't done. Has anyone ever watched the remake of Battlestar Galactica? I never miss an episode given the chance (damn 2nd shift job ). The show's production quality and acting are all top notch. The human model Cylons are pretty interesting (downloading your conciousness into a new body after death would be very useful ).

Anybody else here read them? I've bought and read all 4 ( just finished the newest), and loved them emensely. Ok, I've just seen this movie, and it was HILARIOUS! I absolutly loved it! Even the opening credits, when I saw it was directed by Miss Piggy/Yoda Frank Oz, I almost laughed. The first half of this movie was entirely a really good Tim Burton movie, although I missed it if Tim Burton had any part of it. Anyone seen this yet? I saw last Friday with my buddy Winston. It was very well done and I would like to see Tom Cruise as a bad guy more often.

Before we start cahting I have a gripe about one of my classes. Okay I admit I like history. However I have to draw a line in the sand somewhere, and I draw it at industrialization. Even my teacher admits it is boring and involves more time than it merits. Frankly I want to go back in time and kill Vanderbilt and the rest of the industrial Barons for creating the boring history that is Industrialization. Anyone else take American History II. Wel at the most I have two more weeks of industrialization and then we start moving on to the juicier parts like the Spanish American war, WW I, WW II, the Korean war, and Vietnam. I am again shocked that I have been posting these movie topics typically before anyone else. Oh well I saw this movie and if you haven't go see it soon. The movie is a big special effects movie, however this is done in a pretty classy way. There are many many jokes made about other movies in Sky Captain this is also done in a classy way. This is not a camp movie, it does however do a tap dancing toward but not past that line.

I saw this today with a buddy and it was quite good. Very well animated and lots of CG. Lots of talking (kinda deep) but fun to watch none the less. Thoughts?

I saw this movie last Saturday and I thought it was ok. Not great, but not bad either. Funniest scene in the entire movie is when Lola beats er, whatshisname against the window when he dumps her.

I recently bought the old Star Wars movies on dvd, and on the bonus disc you are treated to a sneak peak of the Obi-wan/Anakin light sabre duel from episode III. Am I the only one that is incredibly excited about this fight. It looks like its shaping up to be an even better duel than episode I's Obi-wan/Darth Maul! I must say I was a bit disappointed with episode II's Count Dooku/Obi-wan/Anakin/Yoda duel. There was no where near the grace, skill, timing and athleticism shown in this duel as there was in episode I.

Hmm I see alot has happend. A Hacker decimated the MB and we lost alot of valuable archives on the WG fic. Scientific, political, and cultural. This is a true shame as newbies have lost a great resource to understanding the fic through our observations. And yes even the thing outside the fic that were in the archive. These things cannot be replaced, and now we have to go through building it again. I am very saddened by this. We all put a lot of effort into building this site and some asshole hacker on a whim decides to destroy it, like a cheap gumball.

Ok Matt, you know how I said what they were doing to the old water tower? Well, it made it into a magazine. Oh, and everything on that pic is from the origional article except the block of text at the bottem. Apparently it was added by someone who understands my torment. I'm just surprised they didn't make any comments about the Jetsons.

Anyone looking forward to this CG animated feature film? It looks pretty funny, especially with those psychotic penguins. "Someone's ratted us out boys. Cute and cuddly, cute and cuddly" -lead penguin.
