  1. Well, Sanji does indeed say that he has no intention of learning Newkama Kempo, so the chance of us seeing him using that style is really low. But that doesn't mean he won't be able to learn a few new tricks when battling the masters for the ingredient of the attack cuisine. I just can't remember if he already knew Diablo when he first met Luffy or he managed to learn it along the way. Also, we never really did see the other stronger shichibukai fight seriously, so we can't say for sure if all of them are capable of Hakki of some degree. But even Boa and her people, not as strong as the other pirates, is able to utilize hakki. So this gives us the impression that everyone can learn Hakki. It just so happens that Luffy is a special case as his type of hakki is the most rare. Remember, there are different levels to Hakki, and we are just familiar with the strongest Hakki. Luffy may learn the strongest, while the other straw hats crew might be able to learn the lowest level of hakki. I'm guessing at least to the level that they can deal with Sentoumaru.
  2. Sorry about this. but going back to the hakki discussion, I will have to insist that Sanji might have a chance of acquiring it. Even though it is specifically stated that Sanji wants to learn cuisine, the other condition of the Okama is that Sanji has to beat a lot of cross dressers to be able to learn it. Thus, this cooking is mixed with martial arts training. I'm pretty sure that Ivanko, judging from the abilities he (she) has shown so far, is able to utilize hakki to some degree.
  3. I accidentally chanced upon on youtube a series of videos chronicling the fight of Naruto and Pain. Did not realize the anime was already this far. I guess fillers are to be expected soon, unless of course, they are alreasy showing fillers now. I have to admit, I was certainly impressed with the animation and that there are several moments that were depicted powerfully in contrast to the manga, but I can still see the degradation of the animation quality in some episodes if not all. Too rubbery particularly on the actions scenes. I would have loved to watch this but the prolonging factor is still present in some scenes. Especially most evident in some cinematic scenes where they will show you a still scene for several seconds.
  4. Ah, Yama onna Kabe onna. Another funny series. Although this lacks the powerful impact of the other series, it's still a likable show. You gotta love the innuendo's of the show about breasts. If you are a fan of Rumiko Takahashi's Maison Ikkoku, there was a TV special released a few years back, and it stars Misaki Itoh as the admirable Kyoko otonashi. also, the last three J-drama I have seen are Love Generation, Long Vacation and Hero. All of these shows somehow stared Kimura Takuya and Matsu Takako in different roles.
  5. Well, it's good that you've got all the basics covered. Most of the times they are overlooked, and only to find out later that they are the cause of the error, or what leads to it. If it's still on full warranty, can't they provide you with a service unit until they give you a new unit? I mean, in terms of business, not having your machine with you even for a few days would mean a loss of opportunity. Opportunity sometimes translated as profits. Seeing that the retail industry in the UK have delighting customer as a standard instead of customer satisfaction, I'm sure your needs would be addressed.
  6. I'm sure you've already thought of this, but better be sure. Have you installed any new hardware recently? Have you installed any new software recently? Have you configured anything new recently? If answer to any of the above is yes, perhaps you should try to look into it again. If no new hardware was installed, then there is a chance that this is a software issue. However, we can't discount the possibility of some of your hardware going bad. Again, I don't use windows 7 so I really can't help you with software issues. Hopefully by now, you have already figured out what's bugging your machine and may deem my post irrelevant.
  7. Wow! I didn't know Girls Generation had a Japanese song. This is the song that I've know them for: Gee:
  8. Were you able to capture the error code from the BSOD? Perhaps that might relate to your current predicament. Since you're running windows 7, I'm afraid there's nothing I can help you with if this is a software related problem.
  9. Well, best wishes to you then. Because frankly speaking, the history of the world was built upon lies and deciet. When nations are at war, it doesn't matter who is right and justified, it is the victor who will dictate what is right. Who knows, God forbid, should Hitler had won World War II, we would have deemed Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchhill as the demons of their era. We say that let the future generation judge the history of the world, but truth be told, it is the victor who writes the history. How this relates to the topic? I don't know, but I'm sure that no matter what kind of religion there is, there are bound to be half-truths.
  10. I haven't seen much Godzilla, but I would certainly like to watch the Godzilla vs Mecha Godzilla. I mean, I only saw the classic Godzilla and the one where he is with Biolante (spelling?). It was the robot Godzilla that got me interested, but unfortunately, lack of resources then prevented me from ever trully becoming a follower of the franchise.
  11. Seirei no Moribito is kinda new, sort of. But I have never actually seen it. Rurouni Kenshin on the other hand was really great. Samurai Action about a feared and famous "Man Slayer" that turns out to be a pacifist. It's a great series until after the Kyoto arc which diverged very very far from the manga. I would certainly recommend Rurouni Kenshin but only up until episode 62. Too bad the Jinchuu arc was never animated, and the pitiful excuse of an OVA only showed a few second of that arc. Starting from episode 63, it was an original story which didn't have any character development at all. Never resolved the issue of the characters. Just watch until episode 62 and read the rest in Manga. It's way better, explains a lot of things about the characters history as well as gives closure.
  12. I think the right word we are looking for is "inspired". I mean, great minds have all their ideas come up from something. The Sydney Opera House was inspired from an Orange, so you can't say that the Architect Jorn Utzon copied an orange to design the said structure. There are others that are more obvious than others, but you don't label them as copying.
  13. Whatever the arguments you guys are putting out, at least what these authors are doing are more positively enforced as opposed to the blatant technique administered by Nick Simmons by his Incarnate comics. That, I think, we all agree is blatant plagiarism.
  14. As much as I hate to atmit it, but everything anime are just copies of previous successful series with something new added as to look original. Some were a runaway success, while others was a complete flop. Additionally, it happens that almost all the current popular manga artist (Oda-One Piece, Kishimoto-Naruto, etc) grew up on Dragonball. You might say that they are the one conveying the pleasure to today's generation in which dragonball was to their generation. 15. I'm sure during the time DBZ was airing, fillers were not popular. And the only thing relatively close to fillers are the prolonged battle scenes which are only a few minutes in length would last for multiple episodes. Also, as for Toei animating new episodes, I don't think the popularity of Dragonball now are the same as it was a few years ago. So fans might not react well to the revival of the series. Remember that they have enough problems securing budget for 24 episodes, let alone 100 episodes. And sad to say, the money they made all the years probably went to other projects.
  16. One year and 10 months later, I'm still playing Symphony of the Night. Restarted the game. After 4 hours of intermitent play, I finally arrived at the inverted castle, and 30 minutes later, I got the cheesy weapon Crisseagrim again. God, I can't believe that after more than 10 years I would still be playing this game and enoy it.
  17. Sorry to ask this, but is that a diaper he's wearing or is he just happy to see someone?
  18. Oh I see. I guess spawn is really messed up. On another note, I'm currently reading Marvels Real of Kings, which tie directly to the next cosmic event called the Thanos Imperative. Interesting things seems to be happening, and yet another alternate continuity can be added to Marvel's list of alternate realities.
  19. Ryuki, I think you should reserve your judgement after you play the game. Not everyone has the same tastes. The only reason I'm playing Guildwars was because I was invited to play it. And the only reason why I haven't finished the game is because I don't have anybody to play the game with. It's rather useless to play an MMORPG by yourself. But yes, the game system is rather complicated (for Guild Wars), that a level 5 player could easily defeat a level 20 player. it all comes down to how you combine your skill sets and their usage. You don't need to grind for levels for this game, but it is the skill that defines your character. You gain skills when you achieve missions. Although I'm not sure how Guild Wars 2 would adopt the system of the first game. But most of my friends have been talking about Guild Wars 2 and is eagerly awaiting it's release.
  20. Since I haven't even finished prophecies yet, I doubt that I'll be getting this game anytime soon.
  21. I would have to agree that Ussop is stronger than Nami. Remember when Ussop challenged Luffy? Besides, he fights much dirtier than Nami. Nami uses her sex appeal, which I doubt would work on Ussop. Also, Ussop has the advantage of distance. No matter how you look at it, Ussop can hold his own. Also, even though we rate Nami as the weakest among the crew, I can safely say that she can beat the crap out of Sanji.
  22. I'm currently confused as to the status of brook. I don't see any possible development of his abilities. I'm also unsure if brook might be capable of learning hakki, and his last appearance gave an impression that he will focus more on his musical talents instead of fighting skills.
  23. I would have loved Z if it were not for the prolonged battles that dragged one whole chapter into tens of episodes. I really can't forget the fact that one whole episodes was devoted to charging up.
  24. It was made clear that anyone can use Hakki. It just so happens that Luffy has the Kings Hakki. I'm willing to think that the top 3 fighters will be able to use at least a level of Hakki that can fight against logia users. Perhaps even Ussop may learn to imbue hakki to his weapons.
  25. Rewatching Slam Dunk via animax. Too bad the interhigh tournament was never animated. Would have been cool to see Sakuragi save the game against last years champion.
