Tribute to Asian Women
Park Hyun Sun. I really love this picture. It's such a striking pose and really shows her curves and at the same time the feeling of a rocker.

One Piece
I'm sure he's achieve techniques more powerful than the gear 2nd and 3rd. I mean, he managed to learn the basics from Rayliegh in just half a year, so he has had a full one and a half year to develop a new technique. His gear 2nd is already on par with an opponent capable of hakki (some members of CP9) what more if he added it to his attacks. Point taken regards to Zorro and Mihawk. I guess it will be kinda depressing to have to kill your mentor. Not to mention that would make Zorro an ingrate. Well, so far Oda-sensei hasn't disappointed us yet. There's a reason why One Piece is still the number 1 manga in Japan.

There can always be flashbacks you know.

One Piece
When Mihawk and Zorro first met, Mihawk already acknowledged the potential of Zorro. Who knows, Zorro might have defeated Mihawk so he could leave that island. I feel sorry for Sanji, he is constantly rejected by females but he is constantly overwhelmed by advances from okamas. His situation was trully the classic dreams turning into nightmares. Ooh! I can't wait until all the strawhats are gathered together.

if you like naruto...
Truth be told, almost every aspect of every anime has different inspirations. The most common that I can always recall is the Yamato no Orochi. It was used incessantly, and I could probably name around 10 anime that used the concept. I don't see anything wrong with this, that is actually where you can see the ingenuity of the Japanese, they improve upon an existing concept. I'm inclined to think that the inspiration you pointed out may be coincidental. -Dattebayo is rather a unique way of ending a speech, similar to other paterns like -gozaru, -noda, etc, etc. Well, unless we have official statements coming from Mr. Kishimoto himself, all we have are speculations. Who knows, Naruto might be inspired from an Orange.

One Piece
I guess we could say that Zorro is as powerful as Mihawk is then? I mean, when we first saw Mihawk, he easily did what Zorro have just done. Also, seeing Sanji's first reaction when he got to Shabody Archipelago makes me think that his male hormones are still as strong. He'll definitely get a big nose bleed once he sees Nami and Robin and thier enhanced endowment. With Brooks constant touring, he's got to have something up his sleeve that made him that famous. Perhaps it's the power of his song, or perhaps he managed to make use of hakki through his song. I mean, a lot of people fainted when he was playing. Oh wells, we'll just have to wait and see.

It was not written, but look over Sentomaru's shoulders. That's definitely a vice-admiral uniform.

One Piece
So Sentoumaru is now a Vice Admiral? This would be interesting.

One Piece
New chapter's out. Looks like unwanted trouble for the real Straw Hats Pirate. An unexciting chapter but a good bridge to what's about to come. Can't wait till they get it on. I hope they won't simply escape the marines this time, but actually fight their way out. Shabody Archipelago was where the Straw hats Adventure ended, and this is where they will begin their new adventures.

Music Video Thread
I'm not sure where I should be putting this, but this video is just so touching and wonderful. Theme of Love from Final Fantasy IV. Played on Violin and Harp. The melody is so lovely that I can listen to this tune all day.

Fat Luffy. F. Luffy. Fluffy. LOL.

One Piece
Well, it's been two years, anybody is expected to change in that span of time. Really big mistake for fatboy. I can predict that Luffy will just ignore this, but fatboy makes the biggest mistake of damaging luffy's food. You don't want to mess with this pirate and his food.

CRAP!!! One Piece 598 is out and I can't get it because I have to work overnight tonight. CRAP!! But I got a glimpse of the raw and looks like somethings happening in Shabody archipelago already. Unfortunately, no sighting of Zoro yet.

Berserk
Yup yup. I hope this isn't a reboot. I mean, the first animation was already kickass, although they left out a few tidbits unanimated, like say, the skull knight. I hope they continue on forward with the main story here. There are a lot of story to cover.

One Piece
Oooh! Boobs! As if those two didn't have abundance of it to begin with. So they grew one cup larger? Kidding aside, Sanji looking much manlier leaves me more worried that he might be a closet kama. Especially seeing those laces up his sleeves. Having to imagine what he's been through. Indeed, we're all looking forward to tomorrow when they resume One Piece.

What live-action series are you watching or have you watched?
Are we to include chinese series as well? Because as a child, I have watched countless Chinese drama on Television as well as on Video ranging from feudal war (wuxia) to strict modern drama (I still can't forget the theme from that child drama. Really touching). That's like 1 series for every month for more than 10 years. (parent's hobby actually, and I was watching along with them every night) So that's like 120 series and movies. Some of them pretty cool actually, even with the limited visual effects then. Among them the classic movies of Jackie Chan during his teen years.
