  1. Additionally, basing on what I've read throughout the years, it is best to avoid Hibiki. Though I've never seen it, a lot of fans says it sucks. Ratings wise, it was the lowest, and toy sales wise, the worst year for Bandai. Who am I to argue with majority of opinions and company statistics?
  2. I thought that the concept of Robot Jox was cool, but then I found the robots themselves to be really ugly. The robots in Pacific Rim seems to have this streamlined look. This doesn't look like a hyped up movie, and if this is indeed rated to be a B-movie, then all the more reason to watch it. there are certainly B-movies that are way much better than other A-list movies out there right now.
  3. Speaking of old comics, I wonder how much my X-men #1 (the 90's version, not the 60's) will fetch these days? Also my Spawn #1 as well as other first wave of image comics would be valued at. It's a bit disappointing that some of my valiant comics are now worth next to nothing.
  4. My first Heisei rider was Kiva, didn't quite enjoy it, but Decade was the one that pushed me to watch the older riders. Just like Spleach said, Decade will give you the sampling of the other riders, if you don't mind the spoilers that is.
  5. The series finally ended. How do you guys feel about the ending? The last scene was less dramatic than I expected, but overall, I think this will be a good ending should they stop it right here. And because of the final scene in the anime, I don't think they will continue on to GGO, since I remember Kirito doing that after GGO.
  6. Seems to be just about right.
  7. Did somebody translate this already? I seem to remember this 4chan comic, but can't remember if I translated it already.
  8. If Guyot did have the remover, I'd imagine he wouldn't have enough bio-energy to activate it since he is currently using a dummy crystal. It was different when he was a full fledge Zoalord, and yet he barely managed to take off Guyver III's unit. Leaning a bit off topic here, but would it be possible for Guyot to survive his encounter with Alchanfel using the energy from the Remover? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the remover needing charging using bio-energy. Perhaps Guyot can siphon back the energy that he put into the remover to get out of harms way even for just an instant?
  9. possible The death of cap didn't really leave a lot of fans outraged and yet they brought him back to life. This particular issue even prompted fans to write death threats, so how long do you think before they reverse this decision?
  10. I think I can say based on my following of the BB10 OS, that it is a solid OS. iOS restricts you to their design while Android allows you to customize. To put it clearly, iOS tells you what your phone should be, while you tell Android what your phone should be. BB10, I think, is a little in between. All that I'm looking for in a phone is just to do the basic functions like calling and sms. All the other features are just plus to me. Well, I do use my phone as a sports tracker, so a GPS would do nicely. But all the common smart phones have all the features that I need. It all comes down to user experience.
  11. Apparently there have been leaked images on the web that shows the ending of the comic. The writers are already getting death threats from fans because of this. Even caused some piracy issues and marvel is investigating this. Man, that's just screwed up. Let's see how long before Marvel reverts this back. Or do you think this is just some publicity stunt, and the actual ending is really different. Man, Doc Ock? Really? I find that hard to believe. I'm guessing this is something similar to how they killed cap.
  12. Well, let's do consider superheroes that ARE married. Superman is married, worked out pretty well. Oh wait, New 52, so he's a bachelor again. Hmm.... come to think of it, aside from the pre-new 52 superman, I can't seem to remember any superhero that stayed married. I think the gauge would be "which superhero stayed married the longest time?". Their spouse is either divorced, estranged, never existed or majority of them, dead. Could this play a major influence on the society of Americans where marriage can be easily dissolved with just a simple paperwork?
  13. I know a lot of people see RIM's Blackberry as a dying platform, but after following the development of the BB10 OS, and having seen the leaked images of the final product, I'm starting to have this urge to want one myself. I find the finish to be very sleek, and having experienced the QNX platform in my playbook, I can say that it is a stable OS that I can be comfortable with. Not to mention that it will be my first touch screen phone if I ever decided to get one. But the problem is I don't want to shell out another $500 or more for another phone since both of my current phones are working perfectly fine. My personal phone, which is my Nokia E66, is already having glitches and can be considered to be replaced, but I don't have a data plan for that line which will make it pointless to go blackberry. On the other hand, this would work very well with my work phone that has a full data plan. But I just got my phone this year and I don't see the necessity of changing phones. Predicament, predicament....
  14. I'd do exactly what Cronos did. Take over the world.
  15. Figuarts are usually faithful replicas of the characters, you can actually call these the official figures of the characters. SIC on the other hand are renditions of the sculptors Takeya Takayuki and Ando Kenji, based on how they imagine the characters, hence the label "Super Imaginative Chokogin". It is how they "re-imagine" them. SIC figures are usually much more grotesque or dark compared to the figuarts counterpart to fit the horror genre. You can clearly tell the difference on the earlier SIC models versus their Figuarts counterparts. But more recent SIC has either toned down their "grotesque" style, or that the designs of the characters themselves have grown "darker", which is probably why you might have difficulty telling them apart.
  16. I've seen the LOTR trilogy and I doubt that I'll be seeing this movie since I'm not much of a Bilbo Baggins fan. Although I'm an avid book reader, I've read the entire LOTR trilogy in just a few pages from the Silmarilion, so I cannot appreciate the movie much.
  17. I prefer SIC over the figuarts. I'd like to expound further, but thinking of toys at the moments upsets me as my favorite PG 1:60 Zeta Gundam had it's antenna broken.
  18. Oh, finished watching episode 24. Looks like the end is finally coming. Also, I think they cut off the Joutenheim part in the ALO arc. That's the place Leafa and Kirito took to reach the world tree. I guess it's not really significant, but would be relevant if they decide to do the side stories of how Kirito "legally" acquired Excaliber.
  19. It's been a long time since Hollywood released any good giant robot movie. Heck, I don't even remember them releasing any good giant robot movie. Robot Jox just didn't quite cut it for me. I'm looking forward to this.
  20. I prefer Bleach, you just can't clean stains with Naruto.
  21. Ah, sorry for the confusion. The cyclops I was talking about is in all new x-men. I got confused with the uncanny avengers. But that young scott and old scott thing is currently in the issues of all new x-men. But yeah, the broody cyclops began after the events in the twelve which altered his personality and prompted his psychic affair with Emma Frost. Damn, Marvel, how many marriages are you going to screw with?
  22. Odin, the thing about cyclops is that he is really a cool guy, a level headed leader and probably a good role model. Krucifer, blame it on Quesada for screwing with Spidey's relationship. I am also in the same opinion that Peter should have remained married to MJ. I actually though that there were hints that they would get back together after one more day. I mean, during that storyline, it hints that MJ knows Peter and is keeping something from him. I'm not a close follower on Spiderman, but can you give me an idea what conditions MJ whispered to Mephisto was?
  23. *shudder* That I would have to agree. Dammit, at least give the guy some peace. I don't see AVX as a heroes vs heroes deal, it's more like cosmic entity vs heroes. The other mutants did find the methods of the phoenix 5 to be somewhat excessive. This is reminiscent of the Dark Phoenix Saga. The phoenix entity did corrupt them and turned Cyclops into what he is today, I guess. I'm interested to see what young Scott has to say about adult Scott. I never liked Cyclops since after that whole the twelve incident with apocalypse. I hope there is someway to bring back the Scott Summers of old. Hopefully the young scott would knock some sense into his older self. I'm wondering if you have any news of our cosmic adventurers. Thanos Imperative was the last I've ever heard of our so called guardians of the galaxy. I became a fan of Nova when I read the annihilation. Hopefully Marvel brings something like that again.
  24. Ever since the new 52 started, I have a distaste for what they did to the DC universe. I mean, how many more times will they have to reset everything? I thought they resolved all these parallel universe with the countless Crisis they had, only to bring them back and then wipe them all out. I just don't get it. Flashpoint was great. I loved it. But after that, meh. I only read Justice League because it was drawn by Jim Lee. After he left the penciling duties, I stopped reading it. As for Marvel, well, I'm quite happy with their direction. AVX was fun and I liked it. I'm a bit torn about bringing cable back minus the techno-virus. Never touched the spiderman issues as I'm more of an avengers/x-men reader. I'm also interested in Spawn, but their comics has been elusive to me. I never did learn what happened to Al Simmons when he blew up his own head. The new spawn doesn't seem to be growing on me. I am following the Savage Dragon. It has pure and simple story telling which I really liked. No sub plots or any of that complicated stuff. Just plain story telling. And also the only remaining image comic that is still being drawn by one of the original founders.

Don't worry. If you want, I can provide you with a comedic script for you to edit just for fun. I actually want to try this new setup. We maintain the html setup, and we do a scanlated version using funny scripts. Let's see if the other sites are desperate enough to host those chapters. Would be priceless to see the faces on the readers while they read the chapter. Of course, we leave those chapters clean of any markings, and put a fine print in the last page of the chapter telling the readers to come here if they want the real translations.
