Weather: how is it in your area, etc, etc...
Summer started here and it's fricking hot. Temperature goes up as high as 38°C (100°F). If you leave your car under the sun the whole day, you can literally cook an egg on your hood at 3PM.

What's for dinner? Literally, sort of...food discussion.
I think that information is greatly exaggerated. Unless you leave it in room temperature for long periods of time, which any food will spoil and give you food poisoning. Always store food properly and best if kept refrigerated. The bacteria you are talking about are usually the result of improper storage of rice, usually when left in room temperature after long periods of time, similar to how molds grow in bread. Besides, you will know that the rice is spoiled when it releases a certain odor. What we usually do is cook rice in the evening, and if we weren't able to finish it, we refrigerate it and cook is as fried rice the next day for lunch. As for tuna spread, we have a different recipe. It involves mayonaise and tuna chunks only. Tuna chunks can be substituted for shredded Chicken meat. Add some salt and pepper for flavoring. Add a layer of fine lettuce in a bread and you have a nice chicken or tuna sandwich.

Anime you are currently watching and/or Downloading
Broken Blade. It's an old anime but it's still good. Just finished all 6 movie episodes and I hear that they are re-releasing this as a TV series.

Event Stories in Comics
Captain America grew up in Manhattan. So I think it is New York. As for the DC characters, to be honest, great stories come from the second tier characters. with DC's 52, you don't get to see any of the main characters like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. None of the famous characters are in it and yet it was one of DC's most successful story arcs. Even the Identity crisis, everyone was wondering who killed Sue Dibny, and I felt that it was one of the greatest execution of comics mystery, with a conclusion that nobody expected. It was simple and convincing. I do like the story of Batman. The likes of Year one, and especially the Dark Knight returns where we see and aging Batman pitted against a Superman still in his prime, yet still defeated by Batman. Stories that involve Joker are also good read, like the Killing joke. DC actually found more success in their elseworlds titles, where stories are written about the main characters that are not cannon and have no relation to the main universe. Which I think is why writers are more creative and have more leeway with the characters, thus giving us a more entertaining story.

Rice is one of the easiest meals to make. If you think you made too much, don't fear. On your next meal, just add some eggs (scrambled), carrots, peas, and if you prefer some bits and pieces of meat (we usually put diced hot dogs or sausage), fry them together (with a little bit of oil) and add a pinch of salt, and you have just created a genuine Yang Chow fried rice. The most important part about this dish is that it is necessary for the rice to be left overs, as that is the main essence of fried rice. And you only need 5 to 10 minutes to cook this.

Event Stories in Comics
Well, they did officially acknowledge that Starlord and Nova were indeed dead, Peter Quill was even asked as to how he came back, but he replied with silence. It means something happened that somehow Thanos managed to get out of the cancerverse as together with Peter, but not Nova. It's a shame about Age of Ultron. I liked the concept, and was even expecting a great story line with the great build up, but the conclusion was disappointing. Don't know it that was the intended ending or they just forced it so they can incorporate Angela into their universe.

And you know what's odd, I have read both 50 shades of gray as well as the whole Twilight series. I even have the hard bound version. Anne Rice's vampire will still kick that Cullen's @$$ any time. It's not that I hated twilight, (well, I actually hated the second book) I just don't see it as a serious story. Something like a love story lite. 50 shades is not really all about BSDM. I don't know about the second and third book, but book one has some sort of "Vanilla sex". Granted Christian Gray has this peeve for S&M, he never really went full S & M on Ana, with the exception of that one time that Ana asked him how rough he can get. Oh my....

Event Stories in Comics
Well, for DC, they used to have a very good story compared to their rival. I enjoyed their Identity Crisis, Countdown, 52 and a lot of other story arcs. The last good event that I read was Flashpoint. After that, DC revamped the whole universe and I stopped reading. I never liked the new 52. I guess my decision has now been justified.

Wow, those must be strong stuff. Could it be possible that it confused you and made you post your update in this topic about what you are reading instead of your thread that fits perfectly to what you just posted? It's good that your medication is helping you sleep at night, I hope it doesn't have any side effects. Stay healthy.- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Haha, i know exactly how you felt when it was revealed who the winter soldier is. The girls at our back even gasped, giggled and squeeled "how handsome".- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Oh, the biggest shocker was supposed to be: Like I said, lot's of Easter eggs that are potential future storylines.- What are you currently reading?
Not exactly, it's about this virgin girl who have the hots for this rich handsome guy, and fantasizes about him doing dirty stuffs to her. The guys has some issues, like asking a girl to sign a contract if he ever dates them. It tells the story from the girls perspective about how the guy is wooing her. The guy gives her a fricking audi.- messages to website editors.

I've heard a lot about that book. I heard they were considering making a film on it. Not considering. They are already done making it. Already at post-production last I heard. It's tentatively due February 2015. Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) was supposed to play Christian Grey, but was replaced by Jamie Dornan. If I may say, Charlie Hunnam fits a better Christian Grey than Jamie Dornan.- What are you currently reading?
Fifty shades of grey. Yes I read the book. The so called mommy porn. But didn't get to read the second and third book. One is good enough for me. Didn't find much substance in the book so never bothered to read the rest. I just don't get what other women see in this book. I mean, sure, a jaw dropping handsome guy who is filthy rich wants to bang your brains out. Doesn't that make them kinda shallow?- What are you currently reading?
Have those Star Wars novel been invalidated due to the release of episode 1-3? I remember reading somewhere that after the release of those three movies, a lot of the other star wars media have been treated as unofficial. Or were they only talking about stories that takes place before episode 4?- What are you currently reading?
I find the Silmarillion to be funny, because it contained all three volumes of the Lord of the Rings novel in just a few pages. Great read though. Also, Dune, best scifi book I've read, but somewhat disappointed that it wasn't finished by frank herbert himself. I haven't read the last 2 book written by his son as I find that he strayed too far from the concept of his father.- What are you currently reading?
Catcher in the rye, a fine book it is. I have a copy gracing my bookshelf. I've read a lot of books but by far, my favorite is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Currently I'm reading Game of Thrones book 5, a Dance with Dragons. To anyone who's waiting on the HBO series, dare not cross me, or I will tell you who dies next. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.- Guyver May 2014
I think the Gigantic would be a different matter, since it is a combination of the navigational sphere, Ark as well as Shou's imagination. I'm leaning towards that the control medal having a defined limit on how much it can be customized. I'm starting to think that with Shou having acquired the Navigational sphere and the cells of the Ark, the gigantic has somehow turned into the Deus Ex Machina. Unlike before, although we are fascinated by what the G-unit can do, it is still confined to certain limits.- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Do what? Watch it this early? Simple really, went to the local mall, bought the tickets and saw the movie. hehehe. Anyway, I might come off as biased since Captain America is my favorite marvel hero. But I really liked the movie, but not as much as the first one. As I mentioned, there were less emotional moments and more action. Even the shocking reveal (it's actually expected if you follow the comics) didn't have that heart felt punch. They did put in a lot of characters, and for a cap fan like me, it's like fan service. Watching the movie I go, "hey that was this guy, and he was that guy, oh, that guys going to be this guy". I think they planted a lot of potential future story lines in this movie.- Music Video Thread
Galaxy Supernova by Girls Generation: If you don't like the music, the video is at least nice on the eyes.- Guyver May 2014
Hmm... am I the only one who's happy about this chapter? Perhaps it's the fact that there is little to translate that I'm ok with it? Still, the question remains as how Aptom can make use of the Guyvers power. Did he absorb a few cell, and with sho's consent, the armor didn't counter it? If that is so, does this mean Aptom would now have the Guyver's power? Or would aptom now be struggling over control over his body against the boost creature? Hmm.... so many questions.- Yuki's blog
Naruhodo. Wow Ryuki, that's a lot of stuff to take in. I hadn't realize that aside from your social challenges, you also have those emotional stuff you have to deal with. I can't pretend to understand what you are going through right now, but I do know that you're going to deal with it head raised and still come out on top. Since your half way around the world, the only thing I can give you right now are words of encouragement. "Don't worry about those who talk behind your back, they're behind you for a reason."- Guyver May 2014
Everyone. Drop it. Just drop your pants and start getting jiggy with it. [God Mode] I think with my tenure, seniority, influence as well as total contribution (and I'm willing to bet 99% of the people here have no idea just how big a part I have in this board), I can throw my weight around here. I find no fault in disagreements on opinions, but I will not tolerate any attack on the integrity of any of the individual members. In my authoritarian eyes, both parties are at fault. One party being lacking sensitivity and the other party being overly sensitive. These two attributes does not mix well together. Both parties should re-evaluate their position before further posting. I hereby order the cease and desist of any discussion pertaining to the personal issues and move forward to the topic of the chapter itself. This is my final decree, or by the powers vested in me by a higher authority, I will shut this thread down as well as any material related to it. [/God Mode] Huh? Wait. Wut?
