Well, lucky for you that there are torrents out there where you can acquire the movie if you have the bandwidth for it.

Yes, Hiei was actually controlled here. With all the Jagans appearing in his body. He even unleashed his Kokuryuha, but he did managed to regain control. In the final ending you see Yusuke's Rei Gun swing like a sword, rebound like a whip and finally turns into a dragon and swallows the enemy. It's a very good movie actually. the fight scenes were crisps and very well done.

Toku, for half you usually use the word "Han". Also angel is "Tenshi" and demon is "akuma". So you can decide to just join the two to form Han Tenshi or Han Akuma. although I'm not sure if such words were ever used before, as it sounds very awkward. As for the tri-breed, I don't think I know of any word, but you could use "zasshuken", but that's refering to a mixed breed dog. Mr. McTaco, if you wish to use a romanized version of your name, you can use "ミスターマックタコ" or "Misuta- Makkutako" One fine, sunny day, Bugs Bunny got raped by an oyster. It was weird. Aru akarui hi, Baggus Bani wa kaki ni goukan sareta. sore wa hen.

There were 2 movies actually. The first one is some sort of a semi movie and doesn't really have much story in it. The second movie "Yuu Yuu Hakusho Meikai Shitou Hen" deals with a more serious plot. And yes, that's the movie where Kuronue appeared. And Raizen should be kickass, if not, how would he be able to rule the demon world?

That's an interesting situation. It will be difficult to give you an exact advice as not all situations are the same. But have you ever considered at how she feels about you? The way she talks to you and the way she acts around you. From that point on you would already know what she's thinking. Perhaps you might want to try a different approach, that instead of asking her out directly, perhaps invite her to do something that would not be considered as a date. Also, how you interact with her depends on what type of person she is. If she doesn't talk a lot, that only means 2 things. One is that she wants you to do the talking and two she feels uncomfortable with you. Also as you said that she is still thinking about your answer, depends also on what type of person she is. If she is a really nice person, that she may be too shy to tell you no. If on the other hand that she's somewhat frank, she may want to see your perseverance. Again, it all depends on the people involved and the situation given.

Well, there is an alternative way of watching the series. If it takes a long time for you to acquire the video in good quality and can't wait to watch it, crunchyroll can satisfy your urge. You can actually watch it there while waiting for your dl to finish. Last week, while waiting for my dl to finish, I watched it in crunchyroll instead.

My apologies. I was not able to be clear about this. Adjective use "-kereba" while verbs simply use "-ba". Example uses of "-ba" Hanaseba - if let go Yakeba - if grilled nomeba - if drank
-
Well, it's been weeks and no feature has been made. Perhaps everyone was waiting for me? either that or nobody's interested in this topic anymore. Well, for this session, let's tackle one suffix that recently came about. "-kereba" This suffix is usually attached to adjectives. Adding this suffix will convert the adjective into an "if" statement. Simply replace the "i" at the end of the adjective with kereba. If you want to use it in a negative form, add a "nakereba". Take an example for the adjective "strong" or "Tsuyoi". It ends in "i", so if you want to say "If you are strong" then you say it as "Tsuyokereba". However, using it in a negative term, like "If you are not strong" then you say "Tsuyonakereba". If anyone has watched Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), one of Shishio's favorite moto is "Tsuyokereba iki, yowakereba shinu", of "if you are strong you live, if you are weak you die.". Examples: Yasukereba, kaimashou = if it's cheap, let's buy it soto wa atsukereba detekunai = if its hot outside I don't want to go out Come to think of it, this thread is no longer "Japanese Word of the Week". It's more like, "Japanese phrase lesson for the week". Perhaps next week we'll revert back to words again.

Gay loving is really not an issue. It's already accepted in most cities around the world. What's really creepy is Necrofillia. *shudders*

Oooh! That's Apostles vs Apostles. The end of the chapter is such a cliff hanger. We'll have to wait until the next chapter to see the true blood and gore.

Have you read the Vampire Chronicles of Anne Rice. There's a lot of book in the chronicles in the following order: Books that feature Lestat prominently: I. Interview with the Vampire II. The Vampire Lestat III. Queen of the Damned (if you've seen the movie and find that it sucks, read this, and The Vampire Lestat, you'd be very surprised at how things turned out. The movie amalgated the two books into one sucky movie) IV. Tale of the Body Thief V. Memnoch the Devil. Books that were written in the point of view of other vampires: The Vampire Armand Merrick Blood and Gold Blackwood Farm Blood Canticle New tales of the Vampire Pandora Vittorio the Vampire Also, Merrck, Blackwood Farm and Blood Canticle is a cross over with the other series of Anne Rice, the Lives of the Mayfair Witches. I have all her books (Except cry to heaven, which really turned me off because it has the first chapter describing castration)

You mean Itsuki? Yeah, especially if you think about what he's going to do taking Sensui's corpse with him *shudders*. I only like the series up till the dark tournament. Beyond that, I'm just not sure.

Suzumiya Haruhi, I watched that a few months ago but I didn't finish it (last episode remaining). I just don't get what all the Haruhi fever is all about. You mean to tell me that Haruhi is the center of the universe? Also currently I'm watching Rah-Xephon for the first time. already got that a few years back but only get to watch it now. Very interesting story. Didn't know Izubichi was creator and director of Rah-Xephon. -
One day, an old lady went to the Bank of Canada with a large bag full of money. The old lady insisted to speak to the president of the Bank in order to open a savings account because, she said, she had a lot of money. After many discussions an employee took her along to the office of the president. The president of the Bank asked her how much she wanted to deposit. She answered him $865,000 while putting the money on his desk. Curious, he asked her how she succeeded in saving such a lot of money. The old lady answered him that she made bets. The president quite surprised asked her: "Which kind of bets?" The old lady answered him: “For example, I bet you $25,000 that your testicles are square". The president started to laugh and pointed out that this kind of bet was impossible to win! Then, the old lady replied: "Would you like to make this bet?". Certainly, answered the president, I guarantee you $25,000 that my testicles are not square". The old lady thus said to him: "I agree. But given the importance of the implied sum, I will come back tomorrow at 10 AM with my lawyer as witness if you don’t see any inconvenience". "No problem“ said the president of the Bank very trustfully That evening, the president became very nervous about the bet and spent a long time in front of his mirror examining his testicles, turning them in all directions, again and again, in order to make sure that his damned testicles could not be seen as square and therefore to be sure to win this bet. On the next day, 10 AM sharp, the old lady arrived with her lawyer at the office of the president to confirm the bet of $25,000 for the fact that his testicles were square. The president confirmed that the bet was in agreement with the commitments taken the day before. The old lady thus asked him to drop his trousers, and the remainder, so that she and her lawyer can see everything; what the president kindly did. The old lady came then closer to see and asked him whether she could touch them or not. “Of course please do!", said the president to her, given the fact that there is so much money involved, you must be 100% sure. And the lady started to do so with a smile.. The president then noticed that the lawyer was striking his head against the wall. He asked the old lady why the lawyer was reacting like that. She answered: "It is probably due to the fact that I bet $100,000 with him that, around 10 AM, I would be holding the testicles of the president of the Bank of Canada in my hands!

Renegade, I think you should rephrase your statement, as you are indirectly calling me a complete idiot. I do not take insults lightly and I would appreciate it if you refrain from provoking posts like that. All you have to do is disagree, no need to call names.

Well, for one thing, kids are free from the restrictions that logics dictates to them, which adults have most of. And like mentioned before, has more liberty to think outside the box. Also, before I continue, I would like to apologize if my statements would be offending anyone, as it is a harsh truth that I find hard to believe but is convinced enough to point out. Today, it is not that kids are smarter than adults, its because adults have turned less intelligent. I have no support as to how this happened, but based on studies shown on simple surveys, most adults lack the mental capacity to think straight. The people they get on the show "Are you smarter than a 10 year old" are usually normal less than average ordinary people. If you put people who plays Jeoperdy there, I don't think they would embarass themselves like that. Also, one factor is also the nervous factor. Pressure tends to block out any semblance of logic. But still, my point, nowadays, the average intelligent quotient is getting lower and lower. Just look at the president of the United States for god sakes. February 30??? And on national television? I am not making sweeping attacks, but just look at how the people in America lives. Majority of the people are hounded by credit card debts, psychological difficulties, emotional issues. All of these problems can be avoided with simple common sense. Watching the Suzie Ormon show, I find more and more people like that. Especially the "Can I afford it" section. People are willing to give away their life savings just for some material things that they don't need. To be short and blunt, adults are getting dumber. I do like to mention that there are exceptions to these people. Thankfully, the people I encountered in this board is nothing like the people I mentioned above. I noticed that it is usually the close minded people that are susceptible to intelligence lapses. Again, I do apologize if my statements have offended anybody.

Was Luoise Royalty? Seeing all her family getting killed in the castle setting might make we want to think so. And Graham being a black sheep. I don't know. I'm also betting the ponytailed guy who hanged out with Sumeragi (forgot his name, the guy who used to hang out with Graham) will be very involved in the conflict,
-
Well, I did saw Graham in the background in the cafeteria of the A-laws in episode 2. Also, this might be the little difference from Z Gundam. Char disguised himself, and take note, using only big sunglasses and calls himself Quattro Vagina!!! (I'm not kidding, this is how some of the official Japanese media spelled his name) Also, Quattro works for the AEUG bringing down the Titans. And it was his speech revealing himself as the son of the Late Zeon Duke that prompted the withdrawal of the support of the Federation to the Titans. Perhaps they will reveal sometime that Setsuna is Royalty?
-
Char like character? You mean a mystery guy who wears a mask? I'm very sure Graham fits that role.
-
Hmm.... that sounds extremely familiar. And I would guess that Maria will be the one who will give a speech about the ugliness A-laws has done to the entire world. And after, the federation will withdraw support to the Titans, I mean, A-laws. Sounds very familiar indeed.
-
It would be interesting to have a country backup the celestial beings.
-
Association to a known terrorist? We do know that Setsuna and Maria is connected in the previous season. And with the sudden appearance of Exia, who else do they link that to?
-
Well, it's no fun watching a sane Alleluah pilot a Gundam. We need an insane Alleluah to have insane piloting skills. Also watching the opening credits, I seem to notice the appearance of Ali Al Sarshes. I guess this is another one of those persistent guys who just can't be killed easily. It's either that or it's someone else.
-
Ah, you have a point there. also, what do you think they will get when they find him? You know, still the schizo freak or a more refined personality? Or yet, a third party?

Has it ever occurred to anyone that the Guyver unit can regenerate very very quick? And that the matter we are talking about comes from the regeneration of the Guyver unit? Could it be possible that the time needed to generate additional mass is equivalent to the energy that is siphoned from the boost dimension? So in effect, the mass of the Exceed comes from the amplification of the Guyver units regenerating ability?
