This just occurred to me but I think the MP4 format is made for portable devices. Since there are a lot of generic portable MP4 players in our region, I'd like to guess that this is one factor. Getting back to the story, I'm very pleased at the start at how they made the 00 somewhat less formidable due to compatibility issues. But I was disappointed when they did the predictable. Put Setsuna in the cockpit and the MS fixes itself. And since Setsuna did managed to hand the A-laws butt in a platter using only his outdated Exia, I guess I expected more when he used the 00. You know, dispatching them with ease or little effort (which he did, but I imagine him doing it a little more badass). Don't you think that using the Trans-Am system is just a little bit like cheating? I guess the GN particles is something similar to the Minovsky particles. Because I just saw how they easily diffused the beam weapons.

Well, I do believe they are doing this because of the HD releases. Some people do burn what they download into HD media and watch it in their HD entertainment set. However, not everyone can afford the HD and some, if not most people watch what they dl on the PC. I also happen to be one of those people who watch on the PC. This is because I have better sound system in my PC than in our conventional entertainment set. Also as not to get off topic, I have not yet seen the second episode, but I do hope that the upgrade wasn't that substantial. Just at par with the current technology. I would prefer that they be uber badass because of their piloting skills and not because of their new toys.

Well, if it is A-laws, could it mean ABOVE-laws?

Wait, are we pitting Movie Guyver versus Manga Guyver, or we are pitting Shou Fukamachi vs Sean Barker. Because if you put aside the difference in g-units, I think that Sean might be able to up one over Shou. That is if they have the same unit. Also, are we talking about pre x-day Shou or post gigantic Shou? The difference in resolve will also impact the results.

I don't mind about the quality issues. As long as they stick as close as possible to the translations. It's a little bit difficult to watch something where what you read and hear are totally different. So far, I have no qualms with speedsubs, I just don't like to get inconsistent with my archives, since its really a pain to rename and sort them.
