  1. Recently, I've noticed that I am getting more and more into the isekai genre. Started with SOA, and then Overlord and Shield Hero. After that I found Arifureta. I even read the web novel. Right now, I've added Tensura (That time I got reincarnated as a slime) and Re: Zero. Also read the webnovel for Tensura and have finished the main story and seriously contemplating if I should read the extra chapters. At the moment, I'm waiting for Season 2 of Tensura and the 2nd half of Re Zero, which will start to air January 2021. Also, Log Horizon season 3 might be on the way. Lot's of shows to look forward to. On a separate note, the final movie of Evangelion will finally come out next year. Anybody looking forward to it? Hopefully no more delays for this.
  2. Oh man! You really got the short end of the stick there. But at least you have 2 wonderful kids and a fresh start. Despite the difficult path you took, could you say that you are finally free? But do be careful, since you don't want your kids to grow up resenting their mother. Despite what your ex-wife have done, she is still their mother. It may be a challenging time for her right now, but once she gets her act sorted, she might want to rekindle her relationship with her children in the future. Redemption usually starts from one's self. So it really would depend on her if she will pick herself up and move forward. But I am worried since you mentioned that her sister has been diagnosed with mental disorder. Could your ex-wife also be in the same case? She might need professional help. Immaturity might not be the sole reason why she ended up like that. Well, please do let me know if this is getting uncomfortable, as it seems that I'm asking too many questions, and I do respect your privacy.
  3. My take on this is that if it's just raw one on one fight, Aptom can overwhelm Guyot, since Aptom have acquired powers capable of going toe to toe with a Zoalord. But if it's going to be an urban combat, then I would think that Guyot has the advantage. His cunning and tenacity is something to watch out for. But of course the outcome of this battle will depend on how that author wants to portray it. This reminded me of a theme in Hunter X Hunter, where a highly prepared Class B fighter can easily defeat a lax Class A opponent. Or something to that effect.
  4. From what you just related, I came to a conclusion that the kids are better off with you. But that's going to be a lot of work on your part as it's not easy raising kids alone. But it is good to hear that the kids are taking it well. But how are you going to juggle raising kids and working? Are they old enough to take care of themselves? It would be easier if your mother is willing to help you raise them, as I'm sure grandparents have this tendency to spoil their grandkids. I'm surprised that you didn't get sole custody with the way your ex-wife is living. Could the recent events happening to her be an after effect of you leaving her?
  5. We'll have to see how this performs. DC has been losing to Marvel in cinematic universe building. They lack a Kevin Feige, so any attempts to merge their cinematic universe seems to have failed. They have done a good job with their TV series though. That's the part where they dominate over Marvel. But then again, with the recent shakeup in their mother company, only time will tell how they are going to end up. I am hoping that this iteration of Batman is successful.
  6. I just found a funny quote about Pattinson and the Batman.
  7. I hate playing of hard. I am a petty and lazy person. Once I'm done with normal, I don't play it on hard. The only time I played Hard on the first try was on Metal Gear Solid just to prove a point. God, I was insane to do that. Finished it and never played the game again.
  8. There was a time when downloading games are not the norm and we relied on physical discs. My answer to that would be different depending on when you asked me, Suffice to say, even then, I have never bought a genuine game. I have stopped playing games for a while now. My last console was the PS2 and I still wasn't buying the genuine discs. If you asked me then, I would acquire the game in a less then honorable manner. If you asked me now, with what I currently have, I would feel guilty not paying for the game. But I guess that wasn't you question, was it? Personally, I prefer the physical disc. There is this certain feeling of owning something tangible. If it's something downloaded, I don't feel like I own it, more like having a feeling of borrowing it. Of course there are pros and cons to both, but I simply prefer to keep something physical for me to use as decoration.
  9. Wow, sorry to hear that. It must have been very tough on you. I hope you don't mind me asking some questions, you did post this on a public forum, so please pardon me in advance if you feel offended by my inquiries. I noticed from the date of this topic started 5 years ago that you were having second thoughts on your relationship, and then made the final decision just last year. This must have been a long arduous struggle for you to sort things out. I'm sure you have tried everything in your disposal to try and save the relationship, but how did your kids take it? Having experience the same thing when you were younger I'm sure you know how it feels. But at least you now feel happier, and that's what really counts.
  10. I still don't like Ezra Miller as the Flash.
  11. I find it funny how a lot of fans react negatively when an actor is cast as Batman and then loving them when they see them in action. Like Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, everyone lost their heads when it was announced they would play Batman. But later everyone agreed that they did a good job portraying the caped crusader.
  12. Wow, I admire your patience to paint something so small. I've never heard of Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Is this something like a Warhammer 40000 or something?
  13. You can't blame me for making succeeding posts. That's what happens when it takes 5 years in between posts.
  14. Hey, what do you know. It works. More Pichana Yoosuk
  15. Because of that cover, I got curious of Plunderer (since I just found out it's also published in the same magazine). Decided to watch the anime and read the manga. Managed to read that particular issue and saw the contents, no mention of Guyver whatsoever.
  16. I got the Rhava Velar and it does cheese the game. And It's unbelievable that you can actually use Standstill on the last boss. Being the last boss, you'd assume that cheap shots won't work on it. But apparently it does. Man, getting all the cool stuff takes the fun out of the game.
  17. I still haven't seen it. I'm guessing that not a lot of people like it mainly because we got used to the same kind of storytelling. If this was shown 10 or 20 years ago, opinions might be different then. People are just expecting too much. Darth Vader being Luke's father *gasp* might have shocked a lot of people way back in 1980, but use the same plot now and nobody bats an eye. I'll still watch it though regardless what people say about it. I'll form my own opinion then.
  18. Yup, played both SOTN and Aria of Sorrow here. I still like this game though. I did what you did by using Japanese audio. I did find subtle differences in the translation, like Shardbinder being referred to as Shardlinker in Japanese, and a lot of re-phrasing to fit western colloquial terms. But it's not something I'm bothered about. There are a lot of things they can do storywise, but Iga didn't have a lot of leeway in terms of backstory compared to Castlevania which had decades worth of history. I have to admit, I play this not for the story, but for the fun factor. To this day, I still enjoy playing SOTN emulated on the PC. Until I get the Crissaegrim that is. Everything is just cheese after that. Have you obtained the Rhava Velar yet? (you most likely have) If so, does it cheese the game as well? I do love the music. I fell in love with the theme from the Entrance and I always get Last Song Syndrome with it. Michiru Yamane is truly a genius.
  19. Soooo..... Anybody playing this game? They dubbed this as the spiritual successor to Castlevania SOTN. So far, it looks amazing. And yes, it does run on a potato PC. I only have an i3 but it still runs.
  20. I've been following the manga for a very long time and I'm still confused with what is happening. I always get the Eldians and Marleyans mixed up. Everything started to get confusing after the time jump. Whose side is Eren on anyway? It was obvious on the later chapters, but it's still confusing.
  21. Arifureta Shokugyo de Sakei Saikyo. (From commonplace to world's strongest) Actually started reading the manga a few months ago, and then started reading the web novels when the manga caught up. Only found out recently that an anime is currently airing. Another interesting series for me. What is it with these Isekai series? These seems to be the constant thing that gets my interest recently.
