How many episodes is this again? I'm waiting for this to finish before I start watching. I don't want to watch this only to be left hanging for a week before the next episode comes out. A lot of people do say that Mephisto is involved in this. Very hard to form my own opinion having not seen the show yet.

The Closest Thing To A Guyver Face Mask
durendal replied to BlackEpyon's topic in General 'whatever'.
I've seen a lot of Gundam, Tolyo Ghoul, Overwatch, or even Fornite. But unfortunately I have not seen one from Guyver. Would be cool though if you've wearing a Guyver Mask. I'm actually contemplating on wearing a Mandalorian Helmet to work since we are required to wear face shield along with face masks. -
I think this varies from person to person. I've known a few who contracted the virus and felt fine. They didn't feel any different with the only distinguishing difference is that they temporarily lost their sense of taste. I've also known a few who have succumb to the virus, though they have underlying conditions that caused their demise. How is the virus being contained in your area? For us, it's the usual face mask and social distancing. Luckily, the only lockdown that happened was when the onset of the pandemic. Traffic is a lot less stressful, but a lot of things that I used to enjoy are now inaccessible, like group gatherings and such.

Considering this is the final season, I find it hard to relate as to how they will finish this in relation to the source material. From where the anime is right now, there are a lot more things that happens before we get to what is currently happening in the manga. With the number of episodes remaining, I wonder how they will compress everything. Perhaps tweak the ending in line with how the author envisions it?

Thanks for the inputs. I've finally figured it out. The solution is too simple that it's laughable. I just didn't realized that DCHP was turned on on the WIFI router. And the fact that I've connected the LAN from the ONT to the WAN port of the wifi router. Turned off DCHP and switched the connected port from WAN to LAN and everything works fine now. For the life of me, I still don't understand how the devices on different networks can see each other despite having the DCHP on. Thanks for sparing some time to discuss this. It really helps having someone to talk to about these things.

Thanks for your insight. Please help me understand since I'm not really very well verse in networking setup. The reason why I though this might work is because all the devices in my home network can be seen by the other devices. The PC which is attached to the TP Link Switch can access the Laptop connected that's connected to the Wifi router. The Laptop can also access the webpage of the Printer Server and indicates the status of the printer as online. But for some reason, the printer cannot be detected, even though the print server is accessible. (Printer is connected to the print server) As much as I want to simplify the connection, like connecting the wifi router to the tp link switch as you mentioned, this is physically impossible. The Wifi router is downstairs, connected via LAN cable to the Fiber ONT, which is in another room upstairs. The Switch is on a different room connected the Fiber ONT. But I'll try moving the printer downstairs and connect this to the wifi router to see if it connects. Though this setup will not work for me, it will help me narrow down which device has the problem.

Hey Guys, I hope you don't mind if I pick your brains. As much as I hate asking for help in doing this, but I'm already at a stage where I'm starting to give up. I know this is not a tech forum, but this is the forum I most frequent. Maybe some of you guys have experience in setting up networks and might have some clues to what I missed. I bought a Wavlink Print Server with the intention of sharing the USB printer over the network. I managed to get this to work on devices connected via wired LAN, but can't seem to get this to work for devices connected via wifi. This is the setup of my home network: Fiber Internet Huawei ONT Router (with wifi switched off as it's wifi sucks) => connected to a TP Link Archer wifi router => All wifi access is being router through here including all our laptops and phones. Then Also connected to the Huawei Router ONT => TP Link Gigabit unmanaged Switch => which Wavlink Print Server is connected to (Canon G1010). PC is also connected to this switch. So it basically looks like this: ONT Router = Wifi Router = Laptop, Phones, Wifi = TP Link Switch = Print Server, PC The PC can print fine, but the Laptop (wifi only) for some reason is unable to detect the printer, but can access the print server just fine (via ping) Typically, if the laptop can detect the print server, it should be able to detect the printer right? But no matter what I try, I can't seem to get the printer to work. I cannot change this setup due to physical limitations (covering multiple rooms, hence the need for a wifi printer) Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice to see two of Caps best buds hanging out. At the end of Endgame, we officially see Sam taking on the mantle, but I don't see him lugging around that shield. Carrying that shield is indeed complicated. We do see someone dressed up as Captain America, could this be John Walker? As bad as 2020 is, at least there is something to look forward to in 2021.

And here I though I know the Marvel universe so well, surprised that I still learn something new from time to time. Thanks guys. Looking forward to this as well. Would love to see more of that Hiddleston Humor.

So Wanda has official lost her European accent. It's not entirely surprising since I know a lot of people who lost the accent of their native tongue. This is good stuff, unfortunately Disney+ has yet to open in our region. Perhaps this could be the catalyst to connect the MCU with the merry mutants as Wanda gets shocked at the end of the series. Imagine at the end of House of M where she utters "no more mutants" but instead says the opposite.

#Guyver (fanmade) game project~!!!! [PC]
durendal replied to G'-illusion Studio's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Very nice! Your dedication is very impressive. Hope a lot of people support this. -
Obviously he's not stupid enough to make deals with demons. But were to referring to him being Guyver 0 or a modern day Guyver? Not that it makes a difference, but he would most likely be more skillful than Agito.

You see, that's just the thing. You mention you were a bitter person, but none of us think that you were (presuming everyone agrees). Years into this board and I haven't seen you being toxic. In fact, instead of lashing out, you reached out. It just the way how people handle themselves. Some may be nice, prim and proper offline, but when they get online, they suddenly turn into trolls. It's like how a mild mannered person could turn into a road maniac when they are behind a steering wheel. Though I am guilty of that sometimes, but that usually happens when intensely provoked. This quote, which I'm not sure if it was really Keanu Reeves who said it, but it resonates with me: I can't say that it's an age thing, as I also see people who are older than me that says the damnedest things. Could it be that people now are much more opinionated, that they malign anyone who simply disagrees with them? I get how heated debates can become, but to the point of insulting?

Yeah, I just saw this the other day. I'm not really a huge Terminator enthusiast and merely enjoy the movies despite what the public says. I also view this movie in a similar way. I enjoyed it, period. I did notice something different here, unlike the previous installment where they end the movie by stopping what's to come from happening, this movie actually accepts the future and just went on to prepare for it. Terminator 2 - Prevent future by destroying the T-800 and all of it's remnants Termiantor 3 - Prevent future by stopping activation of Skynet Terminator Salvation - Doesn't really count since this happened in the future Terminator Genisys - Prevent future by destroying a newly born AI that eventually becomes skynet Terminator Dark Fate - Oh F**k it, you're just gonna come back anyway

We'll it looks like Biden has indeed won. Winning in both electoral colleges and the popular vote. Despite his triumph, he will be inheriting a Trump-era America, so it's interesting to see how/if he pivots most of the policies created during Trump. It does seem logical he would restore some of the policies created under Obama's administration seeing he was his VP. There is this saying "Camaraderie through adversity". Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, there are still a lot of Americans who are racists. Mostly closeted KKK or something similar. Why do you think there is such a movement of "Black Lives matter" if it wasn't? Well this idea isn't actually limited to the US, but are prevalent in some parts of the world. Trump knows how to use this to his advantage. Why else would he be successful in most of his business ventures?

Okay, this may sound really out of place considering the type of forum this is, but is anyone monitoring the 2020 US election? For me, it really has no bearing since I don't live in the US, but I find it interesting due to the on-going drama. I'm not a Trump supporter and I barely know anything about Biden, but my take is that Biden might actually win this. As of this posting, Biden just needs to win any one of the four key states to be declared President. I think Biden's key is either he keeps his lead in Nevada (by 11k votes), or he overtakes Georgia (which trump is only leading by 1.7k votes). For those living in the US, have you casted your votes? And what do you think about this election?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Because of the internet, people can have a conversation with anybody without being shy. Eliminating a face to face discussion puts less pressure on people to communicate properly, more often, saying things without inhibition. Like what Salkafar has quoted, people now eliminates the possibility that they will get punched for disrespecting people. I also don't get why it is so easy to disrespect people. I understand that when you are angry, you say hurtful things. This is caused by an emotional response. But does that mean that most everyone online are angry all the time? Well, that's what it looked like to me.

A fine definition of a refined gentleman. He defined the role of 007 for generations to come.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius War of the Visions. And One Punch Man the Strongest. I did stop playing FFBE, since they keep releasing new units and it's so hard to keep up. Not to mention I've broken the daily login streak that I've been doing for the past 4 years, so not much incentive to play it anymore.
-
With the digital age, everybody can now be easily heard. Now that social media is the norm, everybody can freely express themselves. But is this a good thing? The ease of communicating also brought about lesser inhibition. Introverts are now a thing of the past. People now are easier to offend. I wonder how this came about. Were people really easy to offend to begin with and was just amplified by the digital age? Or was it because the boom of the internet failed to prepare the emotional state of a person? Did parents then fail to realize the effect of leaving their children to the internet that paved the way to those kids growing up to be emotionally fragile? What happened to us? I remember a time when people would call me names and I would just laugh it off. Now you call that bullying. If you do something out of good will but others see it differently, you get lambasted for it. That's why I stay away from all forms of social media. It's too damn tiring to squabble when you can do something much more productive.
-
Wow! That's really a lot of anger you're holding there. I don't blame you, especially from what you've gone through. It's really hard to please everybody, and once you do, you'll end up miserable. It's good that you have let go of the negative influences in your life and you can now start focusing on the positive.

I'm kinda sad that he gets kicked out and branded ex-communicado, but I am thrilled to see how He and Lawrence Fishburne is gonna work on John Wick 4. Although the hype for me has lessened for every installment that comes out. I guess the excitement is due to the surrounding mysterious mythos of the franchise, and as more details gets exposed, the lesser the surprise gets.

I actually fell asleep binge watching V a decade ago. Can't remember if it's because I got bored, or was just tired. After the experience, I never put the effort to watch it again. Although I know the gist of it, still wasn't interesting enough for me to rewatch it. I'm wondering what the next iteration of Gundam would be. I found Re:Rise to be wanting. Maybe I should start watching Reconquista in G? Or even Turn Away Gundam?
-
LOL on what is written on the opening credits. This really caught my eye (translated): Well, I never really cared for Spongebob, but this is a funny iteration.

Anime you are currently watching and/or Downloading
durendal replied to Toku Warrior's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Recently, I've noticed that I am getting more and more into the isekai genre. Started with SOA, and then Overlord and Shield Hero. After that I found Arifureta. I even read the web novel. Right now, I've added Tensura (That time I got reincarnated as a slime) and Re: Zero. Also read the webnovel for Tensura and have finished the main story and seriously contemplating if I should read the extra chapters. At the moment, I'm waiting for Season 2 of Tensura and the 2nd half of Re Zero, which will start to air January 2021. Also, Log Horizon season 3 might be on the way. Lot's of shows to look forward to. On a separate note, the final movie of Evangelion will finally come out next year. Anybody looking forward to it? Hopefully no more delays for this.
