Hey, these are pretty nice. Never thought about a Guyver with a tail. Certainly a new idea.

But, to say that they don't have a body, and then say that needed a body to merge with a Unit, it's contradictory. It doesn't make sense. The Creators can't be entirely energy. But, I suppose, they could have a "body" of energy in an anthropomorphic way. But, still...reading what you said straight through doesn't make sense. It's contradictory and makes little sense. -
The best GWOTG Warrior?? Who do you think?
Thunder Demon1472669266 replied to W'Kar's topic in GWOTG Fan Fiction
For all of his faults W'Kar was a good fighter, and you're right, he did have a great kick ass attitude. I think that's a pretty good reason to have liked him. For all his faults, you don't see many like him in our world. -

But, the singularity, in theory is incredibly dense with an incredibly excessive mass, if one could prove one existed. And one can't really have a physical black hole in or on your body. Again, an incredibly dense and small object. Your black body idea could happen, it's just that the Unit would have to absorb any excess heat, (body heat that escapes) and disperse it almost instantaneously, which in theory is out of our range to do, but more than likely well within the range of the capabilities of a Unit. This could be especially true since the Unit seems to almost require bio-heat to help it in some form. I could be wrong, it's just my impression. If you wanted to incorporate like plasma or fusion into the design, theoretically, based off the fact that the Unit would dissipate the heat, could in fact add it in, and the plasma would basically appear black. I mean, you could do the Black body, you just have to figure out how to block EM waves of the entire spectrum. -

But then, there is a reason that these are assumptions. However, sometimes a mental imprint and any artifacts left behind can give a general idea. Not an exact idea, but a general one. This all falls under Xenoarcheology, that is the study of ancient lifeforms not originating from Earth. Given that we have even less of an idea of what they look like without the imprint, there is much locked away we cannot see, simply because most pictures aren't 3D and we can't explore them like our own world. But, you have to understand, even evolving to beyond the need for a physical body, does not mean they don't have one. It simply means that their mental abilities and capacities have expanded incredibly. But, this also does not mean their bodies are frail. To evolve beyond that physical form simply means that they understand their bodies and the way it works. It's similar here, though we don't know the whole story. Sometimes, not even the author knows everything about his/her world. Wild right? Not really. Look at it this way, they have a greater understanding of their minds, bodies, and spirits (if you believe such a thing). This also explains to a degree their vast scientific knowledge, and their technology for themselves, taking advantage of their strengths and making up for their weaknesses. It's exceedingly complex, but amazingly simple in principle. -

No, I agree. There are fates much, much worse than death, probably worse than being forced to watch Care Bears for eternity. Death, in some cases, seems almost heavenly. Like, I'm not really, afraid of dying, at least, I don't think I am anyway. I'm more afraid of how I'll die. I'd rather die all ready asleep, or completely painless. I'm not one for too much pain, though after plenty of accidents, I do have a slightly higher tolerance for pain. Anyway, having you dead body being used by a megalomaniac to do his bidding ranks up there. Having your significant other or children (family in general) suffer that fate and you watching it, read being forced to witness it, is up there as well. -
Some "Fan Art" In the form of screen shots?
Thunder Demon1472669266 replied to TheGuyversWill's topic in Fan Art
Umm. I kinda hate to say this. I mean, I'd really like to see the pics. But, umm, I can't see them. It just says "Image". -
Still, really, it won't take that long to catch up. Well, relatively speaking. When you look at how long a show typically runs for, yeah, it's short. But, hopefully, they will do it soon. Even if it means not releasing it in Japan (Like I really believe that they'll do that? Not a stinking chance). But, eh, who knows. I'm not a seer. If I was, I'd tell you when the next season would start. Or hell, even the next lottery numbers for crying out loud.

Okay, usually I don't buy a game on its release date, or even close to it, so I don't have to pay so much. But I might just skip the waiting on this one, just because, well, because. Wow. That was, wow. Yeah, that covers it. That's all I can say really. -

Well, yeah, even a lot can happen in a year too you know? But, I think that it would be interesting for Jarrod and Anubis to meet. Particularly if some memory of Jarrod occurs in Anubis' mind, though I doubt it seeing as they are completely different people (Anubis and Greg). -

Aliens vs Predator: Requiem Red Band Trailer

See, this is what should have been the first one. That was more like, I don't know, a watered down one. This, see, this one, the trailer got my heart pumping again, after it stopped it in the first place. -
Okay, so yeah, it would be great for them to do a second season. Of course, they would be getting farther than before, which may explain why it's taking so long. They have a "list" of sorts they need to go through, like any good project. They need to decide whether they go ahead or not, they need to go through and figure from where to where in the manga they will be moving, and figure out which details they change, whether they want to or not, and figure out how it will fit into everything. Season one was smooth only because they had a few other things besides the manga to use as a reference for how they wanted the anime to run. Would you rather have quality over it being done soon? Granted, 18 months is a long time, but be patient. And 'Japanese' technically is kind of racist. It dates back to WWII here in America just after Pearl Harbor was bombed during the period when all of the Japanese Americans were moved into those camps. I don't exactly recall some of the chants I think I learned them saying, but, it was racial in nature. Rather derogatory in nature too, if I recall correctly.

Well, I think it's safe to say, as long as there is a brain that is capable of some form of coherent thought (that is, is it in some way similar to the functionality of a human brain?), then it is likely to bond just fine. So, that is to say, an intelligent being could utilize the Unit. Then comes the question, what would an intelligent being be capable of? From what I've heard, read, and learned, it's not just bipedal animals that are intelligent (c'mon, we've done plenty of studies on gorillas, chimps, apes in general, to understand that they do in fact communicate, can remember, and can speak intelligently with ASL, that's American Sign Language for those who don't know). I have been told plenty of times that dolphins are just as smart or smarter even, than a human. If this is the case, based on the "brain factor" let's call it, then a dolphin should be perfectly capable of using a Unit. However, it is unlikely that there would be one, floating out in the middle of the ocean, waiting to be poked by a dolphin. The Units do weigh a fair bit on their own from everything that I can tell, meaning they would sink in H20. But, it sounds like that the Creators did some test work on other animals with Unit. Wouldn't that also come into play here as well? We do know that the Units gave the Creators a humanoid form. But, this doesn't mean they were humanoid, or even bipedal to begin with. They could be something vaguely like a rat. But, I'd imagine that when they created the human race, that they wanted something that looked similar to how they do in true form, which then implies that they are indeed bipedal. This "Creator Form" idea, is interesting. I'll get back to it later. When you create something, you want it to be able to be used by beings similar to your race, or of your race ideally, so humankind as a whole, Canis lupus familiaris is another. To continue using Earth examples, something that a Man creates could very well be in use by say, a chimp or other great ape. But, it would be difficult for say a dog to use a TV, now wouldn't it? Based on this "Similarity Concept", something that is made for a particular race is made usually solely for that race's operation and usage. In some cases, it can be used by another race, that is similar. As stated, it isn't a far leap from human to great ape. About 2% of our DNA. as a proportion it's not much, but given the fact that in a 10 point font, it fills a book twice the size of your standard dictionary, it still is an incredible amount. Some of which only dictates the difference between the tailless and tailed. But, I'm going off. Based on the "Similarity Concept," "Creator Form" idea, and "brain factor" from above, it would make sense that a) the creators were of a similar form to human kind, b) that the Unit would only be able to be used by some being who is of a similar structure ie chimps, apes and the like and c) that it would be nigh impossible for another like a dog or cat to use it. Yet, this doesn't necessarily apply to the Zoanoid process, which can be "readily applied" to just about any kind of being you can imagine, given the proper time. But, yet, at the same time it has been said "[t]he creators use the bio-booster armor in order to interact with the physical world since they do not possess phyical bodies. They evolved to the point where they no longer needed a physical body, so that is why they use the armor" on this board. This would mean that they were energy beings. Beings with no physical body, mostly life energy, EM energy, and the like, but could shape into a semi physical body. That is, the appearance of a true physical body, when in fact, there is nothing tangent there. However, based on that and the parts above it, perhaps they were bipedal prior to their evolution? -

Thunder Demon1472669266 replied to zeo's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Well, genetics is pretty dicey to begin with. That's starting off with relatively simple organisms. Personally, to me messing around with a species' DNA is just begging for trouble. Ideally, if they do decide to go through with the DNA combination, they'd have to choose what aspects of the species they want, then be able to isolate just those parts of the DNA. And that's not the worst of it. Some of those parts may be a part of another function as well. And supercharging a human body sounds more like a Marvel thing with the vague similarities to the Goblin serums. Though, on the other hand, it may well re-jump-start the human evolution sequence, seeing it's sort of...kinda...okay, it has stalled...and is sorta, kinda going backwards, seeing as how the general population seems to have less common sense, and a whole lot of laziness. -
Yeah, I did see this, actually through a different place. I forget where actually. Kinda bad, right? Anyway, it's not a bad interview.

No, but it is a problem. And yeah, I have noticed now too. It's sort of one of my pet peeves about the internet. People seem to not care that even in online forums, English Grammar, and Language Grammar in general still apply. The shortcuts that people use are fine for IM, but even then, it's not necssarily a good idea. Especially, when someone might not know what you mean. Like me, I know very few of the shortcuts that people use. One like lol is okay, but there are the Emoticons that we have instead to use too, so it's not like you don't have alternatives. Personally, I try to do things correctly, because otherwise, I can't understand it. Call me IM illiterate, but it's the way I am. Nine times out of ten, I'll completely ignore what that person wrote not out of spite, but because I can't understand and read it. If I can't do that, I'll ignore it nine times out of ten. The one time of ten I do read it, is because it is at least written grammatically correct.

So many Warrior Units.
Thunder Demon1472669266 replied to Archaos's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
I quite agree. But, it wouldn't necessarily mean that they would upgrade everyone. I mean, it would be nice, but it would problably be on a basis of merit and what not. That way, Carter could prove himself trustworthy first with a regular Unit, and then upgrade, once everyone else is satisfied. Same with whoever else wanted a Unit. Actually, scratch part of that. First start with an Aceaer, then go to a regular unit, then move to a Warrior Unit. That way, if someone screws up with the Aceaer, you don't necessarily need a Remover to take the Unit away. -
It does look promising. But it's still in the early stages. Plus, it will be expensive for a long time as far as I can tell as the cost of making something that microscopic isn't exactly chump change. Plus, you have to program the blasted things! You wanna try and encoded several million lines into a computer?

I agree with Allen, the most deadly weapon can be intelligence and cunning. You can also outsmart yourself in battle. And I do recall seeing the Dreadnought v. Hulk topic, though it was a while ago. It's not like a Guyver would always lose against a Marvel, or vice versa. Particularly if one is stronger than another, sometimes it could come out as a draw. Example: Agito going as Guyver 3 against the Hulk. Agito wouldn't necessarily lose, and the Hulk win. Remember, at some points, the Hulk ain't exactly Einstein. Yeah, one out powers the other, but the other has a vast intellect and quite a bit of cunning to make up for it. So, it's not like it's a completely one-sided fight. Nor would say pitting Spiderman against Dreadnought. Wait that is a bit one sided. Sandman v. Guyver wouldn't necssarily be cut and dried either. See? It's not all about brute strength. Anyway, waiter! Check please!

Shhh, nothing to see here move along! Cute. Nice pic though. She definitely fits her namesake. Let's see, the Valkyrie were the Norse equivelant to the Greek Amazons. Yep, she's definitely going to fit her namesake. I cantell just from the name and what's happened. Just from what I know and have read and seen, I'd say she'll be pretty interesting to watch out for.

It is a bit simple in design. On the flipside, the coloring scheme isn't too bad. Be better in a darker green I think. Not the same shade as say Max Steiner's forms. Mmm let me see, possibly a 0,64,0 or 8,64,8 on the RGB scale (0 to 255) for the main one armor, and a darker shade, maybe black for the under stuff. That's if you wanted to recolor and add it later. But yeah, it is a bit simple in design, but it's not all bad. Think of it as a relatively fair trial run for the final thing. Hey, it's just an idea...
