  1. I don't understand why you are 'correcting' me, when you quoted my post that explicitly stated Armenian. maybe you wanna read my post again and rethink your reply?
  2. beautiful work by Aiuke! I don't agree with the colour scheme though. based on past colour scheme for zoalords I think there is a relation to bright colours and also a relation to cultural dress of where they come from. yentsui was jade green often seen as traditional colour for China, purgstall was deep blue, which is very common in traditional Austrian garb. Looking at Armenian traditional dress there is a lot of red and blue, so here is how I think shin's battle form would be coloured. regarding Shin's ability, I believe it is more like mass ordnance. he has a lot of orbs round his face which would make sense for being able to aim multiple beam weapons very accurately.
  3. wow, very pretty! I am sure they will be well received
  4. you have some beautiful designs. I wonder why... is that upside down japanese characters on the image? anyway, the designs are clean and the shading is exceptional!
  5. yeah, you need to choose 'save as' and then select the file format. PNG is a good format, but JPG is most common due to the compression. the file sizes are generally smaller and therefore easier to deal with on the web. you've been using the lasso tool, this is a way to do it but very hit and miss. better to have a look at how to use masks. then use a colour adjustment layer with a mask. that way, you can adjust the mask as much as you like using a standard paintbrush.
  6. I think you guys do need to really be concerned about this. it'll certainly effect me but not nearly so much as US citizens. from my perspective, the USA looks more and more like Soviet Union day by day. There's a statue in the New York harbour. I wonder if those guys in Washington remember what it represents.
  7. I think when comparing them, it is important to consider what world they are in. if they are in DC world, the DC characters will win, but in Guyver world, Guyver will win. so let me suggest that when making these comparisons, bring both characters out of their own world and pit them i the real world. I'd also like to mention, I saw the man of steel movie and looking at that guy, I think guyver would have a strong chance. But then I don't really understand why that superman is not as strong as what some people have described him as.
  8. he is quite beautiful. sort of reminds me of things like zone of the enders.
  9. indeed, that is interesting to see waferdanos's tentacle. looks like it may be possible to revive him. he was sorta plant based wasn't he. it could be that his consciousness was non centralised. I wonder about this time scale though... we were just watching shin talk to shou and aptom about valkyria, now he is in washington? it could be we are seeing a time skip and shin went to washington to talk to barcas about events.
  10. America used to be 'the sh it', now it's just.... there are some awesome people in america. just a shame about the assholes in charge. I wish I could say the UK was any better. psh. does my signature count for much since I am not a US citizen? by the way, the server this website is hosted on is based in the USA. and beside that, doesn't this thing concern the creators of such works, not the place where said work is hosted?
  11. here is a good site to study about a lot of things. It's especially useful now that Chelsea Manning has decided she no longer wants to be known as Bradley. http://www.t-vox.org/index.php?title=Trans_101 The thing about sexuality is, it is different from gender. a man may start out as a straight man, fancying women. he may then undergo hormone replacement therapy which will change his/her body chemistry and brain chemistry and his/her soft tissue body structure, and she ends up fancying men. In effect the straight man, became a straight woman. on the other hand, he may start out fancying women and become a lesbian. There are lots of possibilities. unfortunately, what can be taught in schools is extremely limited and usually kept over simplistic. I was also taught that the world consisted of xx and xy.
  12. I concur. for a good time, call gigantic guyver.
  13. yeah my mum says wool is expensive. I don't have the patience for knitting to be honest, but I think it's pretty cool. when I was a kid, before I learned about computers and video games, I used to crochet and knit. made some pretty good stuff back then.
  14. oh very nice! baby blanket project? sounds very exciting! I understand cabin fever. I will never stay in the house all day if I can help it. I always go out to do something. see some people somewhere. buy some groceries or look around the thrift store etc. I thik if I stayed home all day, I would feel very awkward.
  15. cabin fever! another term I'm not familiar with I suppose it is because I live in a large town of 60,000. we have plenty of shops round here. I think the USA is arranged differently with lots of small stores and family run places. I can't think of many 'mom and pop' stores round here.
  16. that sounds really exciting! can't think of any thing like that over here. I mean we might travel to another town but we'll spend the whole day there then come home. never even considered the concept of visiting different towns in one trip. sounds pretty cool. might consider it one day.
  17. wow, that is incredibly generous! [emote=onion]cute[/emote]
  18. no, i bought it for the xbox 360. I don't remember multiple enemies at once but there might have been. all I remember is something like.. the button timings were really strict and unforgiving. it wasn't a fluid fighting gameplay, it was more a case of having the get the right timing on everything or get completely plastered.
  19. I laughed so much that I cried that was brilliant!! I miss the old power rangers.
  20. I have seen a lot about this one. attack on titan. yes it is certainly intriguing. I have not watched anime in such a long time, but as a few people seem to be watching this one right now, maybe i'll join in?
  21. I really liked that game where you could run around konoha and perform tasks for people. but the problem with that game is that the combat was really badly designed and was incredibly frustrating. since then, I have avoided naruto games. I wish I could play a nice naruto game but I don't know about the gameplay.
  22. a man, with a male brain, couldn't psychologically cope with having the body of a female. I think you need to do more research. It is not a case of a man being gay and wanting to deny it or anything like that. there are trans women who are in relationships with women. there are two hormone stages in gestation. one effects the brain, one effects the gonads. when the stages don't match, you have either a male structured brain in a female structured body, or you have a female structured brain in a male structured body. That is what research currently shows. currently a trans woman cannot get preganant or menstruate etc. Science is still working on techniques to grow organs and there are various studies being carried out that can cause ovaries to actually turn into testicles. the reverse is still being investigated, but in the future it will be possible. I think some important questions are, what determines sex, and what determines gender. the two are different concepts. currently sex is determined by physical characteristics. gender is determined by how person feels and expresses themself. since a person can legally change their sex and physically change their sex albeit imperfectly, they are legally, physically and emotionally that sex. genetically is another matter of course. But of course, genetics is a tricky subject. scientists used to think maleness was caused purely by the SRY gene, but now are discovering that if the SRY gene doesn't work, sometimes there is a gene on the X chromosome that causes maleness too. this means that even if a person has XX chromosomes, they can still become male depending on circumstances. what these circumstances are, is unclear. it is possible that the mother may contribute to the hormone concentrations at specific times during gestation.
  23. I'm afraid it's not that simple. There are xx males and xy females in the world. sex determination is resulted from a varied set of genes, one of which is SRY gene. this is mainly on the Y chromosome, but this gene fails and other factors determine sex. the bottom line is that if testosterone is in enough concentration, at a particular point during gestation, the gonads turn into testicles and from that point on, the testicles will produce the male balance of hormones. in utero castrated rabbits, they developed as fully female for example. another question is determination vs mechanisms. chromosomes are chemical information, but what determines what gender a person is or should be, is it the information used to build their body, or is it something else?
  24. I think it's pretty awesome too. I always thought there was a lot of intolerance in society. I've often thought of how difficult it must be for minorities in society, but this really shows how people can rally in support, it makes me very happy about the goodness of people.
  25. Good video series. What would you do? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsynPXnk_l8
