thank you, you guys. yes, I do think it is a good technique. but It's not a case of improving photoshop skills. photoshop is merely a tool, I've been able to use it effectively since 1998. It's more a case of studying the world, how light behaves etc. actually I think maybe my eye has gotten better due to studying how makeup artists work. actually, this could have been a very plain looking piece, but the improvement is due to how I decided I wanted to use colour to effect lighting. there is no true yellow on him, it's more red, peach and cream, with sandy grey shadows.

wanted to get this done ever since valkyrias backstory presented a rather moody image of lisker. finally finished it!! I'm pretty happy with it myself, has a nice solid feel and is very moody and atmospheric.

see.... copyright laws as they are currently, and how companies are pushing for them to be, it doesn't help google to do what they do. quite frankly it is all a big pain in the ass for google to keep having to deal with these issues and i think google are getting tired of being pushed to deal with these things constantly. just think of the demands that are being constantly placed on them. demands for filtering etc. these demands, they are getting in the way of what google wants to do. I'm not saying google is innocent completely. they mine data and they make massive profits from that... but from what i have seen of google's practices their ethics seem to be sort of in the right ball park.

I know what is going on and it's not as stupid as people think. google is not so stupid. they are in fact very intelligent. google is playing devils advocate. they are doing this to highlight a very important issue of copyright law as it currently stands and how various corporations are trying to screw us all up the backside. with these people always pushing for things like SOPA and now the TPP, I believe that google has taken this current course of action to wake people up to the dangers we are facing.

The other guys have done their thing, it's just waiting on me. I've had a bit of a hard time these past few weeks and I haven't felt up to the task of distribution. It's on my list of things to do when I feel up to it. Sorry about that.

power rangers was bright and colourful. this isn't. how can it claim to be power rangers? the very name power rangers makes me think of dorky do-gooders in garish colours. I liked that. it was cool. is that weird?

so right now It seems like I have no time for anything. I'm stuck in hte same house with nowhere to move to because i cannot afford a deposit and my landlord is threatening to take me to court to evict me. I've got the job centre on my back demanding more from me all hte time, whilst I try to push my troubleshooting business. I'm heavily involved in a community centre startup, this may result in a paid job if the paperwork can be sorted and if we can stretch the criteria so it includes my age group. Whilst all this is going on, I'm trying to figure out my personal feelings about my own gender identity. I can't afford to buy much food, I would really love to have a nice meal, but I am struggling with having to choose the cheapest available. haven't been able to buy a new video game for months, got no tv, the internet is patchy at best. landlord cut off the internet so I have to try and pick up next doors wireless signal if I can or use my phone which is not great. it's a dark time and I think it is the same for many people at the moment. Christmas for me just isn't going to happen. I'll be lucky if I can afford to eat. I'll be lucky if I have a roof over my head. when you're in a difficult position, there is always one thing that you know for sure. The only way is up!! well that is not always true, but as long as one remains positive, things can only get better. (that's 2 songs, let's see if I can fit in more) So If I just remain working on hte community centre project and focus on my business, I can surely improve my situation. I have a networing event tomorrow that I have organised and am hosting. that should be pretty awesome! I have yet to roll it out completely and fully market the weekly event. I still think the turnout will be good though. The networking event is free as it is in conjunction with hte community centre project and I am utilising the space. I am also advertising it as a skill share where business people with poor skills in particular areas can get assistance from other business people and can offer their assistance too. As a troubleshooter, my skillset lends itself to organising this kind of event. I feel I can realy benefit from this and so can the other people who go.

I disagree on that point. this movie feels to me like something that might be remembered for a long time. it gave me a very strong feeling of some of the original movies. particularly supergirl. I also did see the lack of chemistry though.. but my main gripe with Lois was her hair colour. each time I have seen this movie, when she comes on screen my first thought is "April O'Neill".

hey, I want to revisit some of the issues that were brought up here. more noticeably the line about evolution. from my understanding of what I read in this thread, I disagreed. but I am thinking it may be a communication/understanding error because I believe I have identified the spirit of the argument. upon watching this for the third time yesterday, I started to notice the themes and suggestions in this movie. it does appear to be very much leaning towards the christian ideology. The whole ideas of Clark surrendering for humanity etc. I realised that yes, the line about evolution was a sort of characterisation of the arguments of creationism vs evolution. I have to be honest, that line always did seem a bit forced to me. I didn't initially see it in this light, but I did feel that the dialogue seemed a little out of place.

I wish I had the patience to read, alas my dyslexia makes it so laborious. it is a shame because it is such a nice thing to see you guys sharing with each other and creating such wonderful things!

after he got derzerb's ability, he didn't meet archanfel. if you mean the spiral attack that archanfel used... well he did recognise that when imakarum used it but he recognised it because of its visual appearance didn't he? is that what you are referring to?

both aptom and imakarum have changed since they last met. aptom has gained numerous new genetic patterns. imakarum has received a huge energy boos and if he is apollon, he is wearing armour. aptom has not shown an ability to identify people telepathically or from a distance without visual cues.

I'm not sure about the title of the thread. 'naming and shaming' seems a bit sucky. I think it might be a bit distasteful to be taking potshots at some stores just for the sake of it? by all means if you had a nasty experience, share that with friends, to keep them safe.
