  1. welcome back dude sounds like you had a good time ! let me ask you this - how much does a bottle of water cost you at home. that's the one thing you left out that gives us an idea of the difference. that's amazing to see that camera at such a low price!
  2. also, sometimes we need to learn to cut our losses. I haven't read your writing so I have no idea what it is like. it could be amazing and the best writing in the world... or it could be really really bad. I don't want to suggest it is bad, I would prefer to think it is good or you would not continue doing it. passion usually shows through and involves the reader. but the point i'm trying to make is, we have some good work and some bad work. I cut my losses with my videos. in other words, I decided to be brutal in chopping away some of the not so good videos and focusing on my best ones. I am much more discerning in the videos that i post for the public to see and i think this gives more chance of them being viewed. do you know what i mean? I haven't done fanfiction in years though and i never wanted a huge audience for my stories. perhaps i'm not qualified enough in this area to comment.
  3. good luck with it. it's hard to get attention for our work at first. it takes work and perseverance.
  4. oh that is interesting! i had not realised that! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo but that is cinderella? and majin buu is more like a genie isn't he? I guess it doesn't really matter a whole lot, as it's a good enough reference to disney. edit: since aladdin came out 1992 and majin buu appeared around 1993 sometime (can't seem to find any data on that but i worked it out roughly through maths) it seems that majin buu is pretty clearly based on the genie from aladdin.
  5. that forum is dead. why not just post the rest of the news here where people can get to it easier. it'll raise the chances of us getting more discussion going on.
  6. to be honest can't remember. well.. I mean, I didn't have bentou myself. I had onigiri and oden mostly. ramen is particularly cheap, but there isn't a huge difference. hold on, I'll see if i kept the receipts for any of the food i had. oh, about the travel. it depends where you come from really, but if you compare to uk travel you would be in a state of shock. I don't know if the issue is british travel being too expensive or japanese travel being really cheap... i was talking to my friend about travel:- so travel is cheap in my perspective. ok now i found a receipt from seven eleven. ham sandwich - ¥250 (that was about £1.75, it would cost about £2 in wrexham and about £3 in london.) onigiri - ¥115 (that's about 60p, and it was fairly substantial and enjoyable.)
  7. nice use of the spoiler tag. wow, I totally didn't recognise ankh there. it shows i haven't been watching ooo for a while.
  8. no, not expensive. as far as capital cities go, Tokyo is actually rather cheap. of course it depends on your exchange rate too. for me.. for tHE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT I WOULD NEED TO BUY A GOOD SANDWICH, i COULD BUY A GREAT BIG BOWL OF RAMEN. damn, sorry caps. too lazy to convert it.
  9. oh! i will say this much... I was very pleased with how mister satan accidentally befriended boo. it's like... he actually contributed to 'saving the world'. it's a weird sort of redemption. it's one of teh qualities of dragonball that is so powerful. on one hand the series is so incredibly shallow and soulless. on the other hand, it has such complicated issues being played out between some characters. edit: and i love dragonball kai. the music makes a BIG difference. dragonball kai has exciting and invigorating positive music. dragonball z has weird spooky and desolate music.
  10. well... i've already done that now i just hope it wasn't wasted effort! hmm, I don't remember the fight between piccolo and juunanago. was that when they were all beaten up after those 3 escaped and started looking for goku?
  11. when i'm a millionaire, i'll buy you a plane ticket.
  12. yeah I think we are in agreement there. cell seemed like the pinnacle to me and it is definitely a come-down from that. the whole concept of saiyaman was just stupid. I hated that, was very bored wanted to get past it. wanted to see super saiyajin 3... and now that i have seen it, it seems like there is not much more to be had. i guess that is it really, there was never much in the way of character development, foreshadowing etc. there was never any really overlying plot. just fighting. and now we are at pretty much the end part of the whole thing, they are just trying to top everything before it. they are going for the overkill. I'm thinking I will just quickly read the manga to finish it off and then watch db kai as it is released. I need to watch something more involved. I think i've had the best that dragon ball had to offer. goku's fight in the cell games. oh and of course some amazing earlier fights such as krillin versus jackie chun. that was brilliant. the earlier series dragonball was much much better. what shall i continue onto.. maybe to give one-piece a thorough chance?
  13. he doesn't attack the libertus but he slices through those containers.
  14. no, that's not true. I don't need my dog to die to appreciate the fact he is alive. you don't need such catastrophic things to occur. I loved goku's first fight against cell. that was amazing. I haven't enjoyed any of this bit with majin boo. mainly because the characters don't seem to care about what happens to earth. it doesn't matter because they have the dragon balls. and their motivation was always to fight stronger opponents. goku never cared about protecting earth, he made that absolutely clear when he let vegeta and piccolo live. it shows goku's character. he just wants to fight strong opponents. they never cared about the people on earth, so these events had no meaning. it showed how evil majin boo is... well i'm sorry but freeza and cell were just as evil. cell only held the tournament because of his joy for fighting, otherwise he would have just killed everyone. it's completely pointless to even do this because it doesn't make him any different from the others before him. it just takes away the reason for urgency. it takes away the hope of the common person. it makes the fights empty and soulless.
  15. really getting towards the end now. majin boo is horrific. dragonball z is now very very depressing. i don't feel like watching. i don't get joy out of the fights when the situation is so bleak.
  16. we can't say for sure. we do know that he absorbed many zoanoids that we did not actually see and do not have any name for. we can only assume at this stage that the spear came from unspecified zoanoid. I don't see how khan could just make it up.. he would need some genetic data to draw from.. that is how aptoms body works. I looked at the pictures and couldn't even see any zoanoid that appeared as if it could have the spear.
  17. wow, we are getting rumours now awesome. thanks bobby. I was a little distracted by the big picture of ryuki. I quickly thought it was a potential remake or continuation but thought that would be silly. the concept does seem to fit with the current direction of kamen rider. sounds good.
  18. i think you should be able to get wifi quite easily, like in macdonalds etc. I hope you have a great time ! have you been before? I think you said before that you had not been? I look forward to seeing your photos
  19. sorry, I have this book but i don't have a scanner that works with windows 7. why do you want the image? simply for collection purposes? or is there something you want to check on? would a photograph or short video clip help?
  20. I don't read fanfictions full stop so I'm sorry i can't comment on if it is good or not. did you look at the topic views? does it seem like nobody visited? in that case, have you considered putting an excerpt in the tasters section?
  21. oh sorry EX, I edited my post to add more stuffs about eating and food.
  22. EX, you said it's best not to complicate it... yet that seems to be what is happening! it's best not to try and go over all complicated rules and just go with the gut. that's why i tried to mention just things that i have experienced rather than trying to give rules. ご飯 gohan - meal 朝 asa - morning 昼 hiru - afternoon 夕 yuu - evening 朝ご飯 asagohan - breakfast 昼ご飯 hirugohan - dinner 夕ご飯 yuugohan - supper 食べ物 tabemono - food 食べる taberu - to eat 物 mono - object/thing 食べ物を食べます。 tabemono wo tabemasu - (I) eat food 今日,居間に朝ご飯を食べました。 kyou, ima ni asagohan wo tabemashita. today, I ate breakfast in the living room. durendal please correct me, I'm sure my grammar is faulty.
  23. i would find it very odd for a younger brother to call an older brother -kun. it would suggest that the older brother was very immature and pretty useless at looking after himself. think of dragonball. goten will probably call gohan - 'gohan' or 'nii-san'. in some other cases, you get teh use of 'aniki' which seems a bit more familiar and friendly. for the younger brother, if he called him -chan, he would have to be very much older like a parent, even then it would be weird, unless the younger was very effeminate and it would certainly still be weird. really, for the younger brother, stick with -kun or just the first name. this is going y my own experience, of course you can always go by a precedent. look at some relationship in some anime that you wish to emulate and take teh naming conventions from that.

thanks for sharing the figure on the other side of the bridge represents your subconscious or your soul. the appearance of fiona is curious. does it mean that you have supplanted your soul with hers? or could it be that you two were so close that you became almost the same? only you can answer that though. well she can. that's the point. that's the point of the librarian too. since you could not get into the library, the person in the forest is kind of like a level 'before' that. the librarian is the holder of universal knowledge. the person in the forest is the holder of personal and spiritual knowledge.
