Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm the newbie joining your community today. I'm not a big fan of anime or manga but I enjoy old school Shonen from time to time, like Fist of the North Star, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Baki, etc. I discovered the Guyver manga 5 or 6 years ago and it captivated me from the first moment, my favorite characters are Sho, Agito, Imakarum and Aptom.

Not sure how active you guys are anymore, but...hi, I'm Sammy, from Utah(no, there are no Precursor dig sites near me.), and uh.. got back into the fandom as a result of some tabletop stuff I've been doing recently, got a fanfic muse bug biting me, and so...here I am. My cousin used to be big into Guyver and got me into it years ago as a kid, and this is...pretty much the place I got when I googled the fandom.

Hey y'all, I'm not up to snuff with all my Guyver history, but it was the first manga I fell in love with alongside Robotech and Evangelion. I remember reading the series with my best friend in the library during lunch and then after finding out that they stopped translation of the series hit a brick wall and gave up hope to ever continuing reading the series i loved so much. I'm hoping you guys can help me catch up and appreciate such an amazing artist and storyteller again. Heres to hoping.

Hello, I am new here and in need of some information. I am a pretty big fan of the series Guyver and had a few questions regarding it. I started off by watching the 26 episode anime series and then fell in love with it. It wasn't long before I realized the anime never finished it, since it was originally a manga. So I started reading the manga (naturally up to where the anime ended) but only found myself getting to around chapter 207. Since that's where the English translations for it ended at. And then I find out that they are way further and up to around chapter 245. So now I am just wondering (as someone mentioned coming here) if you guys had any of the chapters past w…

Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself to all of the great Guyver fans (myself included) on this forum! I recently signed up but have followed the forums for a long time. It's good to be a part of a nerd community obsessed with Guyver and lots of other great subjects! I have been a huge fan not only of Guyver, but comics and gaming as well since my wee childhood. Just stopping by to say hello. I've lurked on this forum a few times here and there, and just now decided to sign up. Definitely want to thank the people who have kept the forum alive and well.. ie Yuki, I believe, as well as many others. I've enjoyed Guyver since I was a toddler, back when you could rent Guyver from blockbuster. I like to think that all the childhood violence has helped shape me into the good person I am today. Oh hello there. Not much to write about this, but I'd rather not just be that dude who hangs in the corner eyeing your girl..eerr..guyver scans. After like a bajillion hours looking around and rearranging and redownloading guyver scans, I figured I'd join up and get my hands on the newer volumes come payday. Seems like a neat community and hope to finally keep reading this manga that I've been on since 2004.

Hey Guys, I just found out about Guyver not too long ago (from the live action movie) and fell in love. I did some research and found out it's a manga/anime and I went on a crazy binge. I've read all the manga GA has put out and all of the anime/OVAs. This is by far one of my favorites! I hope that I can make some cool friends on here who share their love of Guyver!

Yeah, I had nothing original for the title, but hello from the Southern USA. I had actually seen where a few other members said they were introduced to Guyver through the Manga VHS tapes...well I'm no different. My older brother always loved the show and loved to terrify me with the old 80s series. Although I've actually only started to pick up the show and manga for myself in the last...4 years I suppose. So I can't really say I'm an old fan, but it has quickly grown as my favorite manga/anime series. As my name username might suggest, I also enjoy the Final Fantasy series, along with most RPGs. Hello all long time Guyver fan here, so excited to see so many people who love guyver outside of Japan. I am into anime/manga but Guyver is among my top 3 series. Other than anime if you couldn't tell by my pic I am also a MMA fighter. I have been involved in martial arts since the age of 4 (after my sister introduced me to super sentai)started with karate and 4 years ago decided to give MMA a try, found out I'm pretty damn good lol. hope to make some good friends here and have some great conversation

Just wanted to say, Hi everyone! So I guess my old Account died? God, time sure flies doesnt it? I remember that when I was last 'active' by any sense of the word Murakami was just released by Max Factory. I used to go by 'DaMoe' back then. With a series like Guyver where the story is released very slowly its easy for interest to cool and for people to just move on to other things. I do wonder after all these years if Takuya even has an end in sight. As much as I love Guyver, it has taught me that there is a downside for a creator be so attached to his work. I've been a fan of Guyver since my older brother showed me the Manga Entertainment OVA VHS tapes in 1996--they actually sold them at Walmart at the time, I believe. Granted, I was like 9-10 at the time, so the violence got to be a bit much for me after a while, but they still left their mark on me when I think of monsterous creatures and the like. Hey guys, I was a member here quite some time ago – back in the time of guyver.net. I posted a fair amount so some of you will probably remember me, I also took a stab at a fan fiction. Anyway, I've recently had some free time on my hands and was curious as to what's happening in the world of Guyver. I'll probably look up the Guyver Advocacy project translations to see what I've been missing.
