alkanfel009 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) for I am not so sure about that remember when sho was in the giant cocoon in the Dead Sea and went to the yamado of mizuki in japan, teleport to the place where it was mizuki esacto and company that could give a clue that the Guyver has telepathic aviles or an excellent ear Edited December 4, 2011 by alkanfel009 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 that is an interesting question. how did guyver gigantic cocoon, know that mizuki had called out? i don't think it is a simple case of guyver telapathy. if guyver was telapathic in this way, he would communicate with agito when he was in america. daveblackeye152 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I always figured it was a combination of excellent ear/something akin to how animals and insects are known to flee days to weeks before a massive earthquake...and a bit of 'rule of drama/cool.' Quote
Super Existence Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Or some kind of mental link between the two outside of the Guyver. God. I still remember the OVA with Mizuki screeching SHOOOOOO!!! As the camera zoomed away from her. Happened every episode. There was simply no need. Quote
durendal Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I, for one, don't see any mental link, but more for dramatic purposes. It was also my understanding that the Guyver can communicate mentally. So since Agito was present during that time, the scenes might have been transmitted by Guyver III to Guyver I. Or Guyver I has been monitoring the events through Guyver III. I don't know, but I still think that Mizuki screaming and the cocoon appearing is nothing more than a dramatic entrance for the Gigantic. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 eh? agito was in israel and used the portal the gigantic cocoon made to travel to tokyo. it appears, from book 3, that they have some form of tentative sensory link possibly when close by. shou was aware that agito was close by but there did not seem to be any communication between them, only a sort of an awareness of their presence. same when shou 'died' a little bit later. also, if they had some form of communication, shou would have been aware that agito was alive after guyot destroyed the campsite. not to mention, shou would have been aware that aptom was not guyver 3 though he appeared to be. it seems to be a very flimsy sort of sense, possibly something they have to concentrate on, or not be under stress. Quote
neozxtole Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 But if I remember correctly, in the OAVs Guyver III made some type of a telepathic connection (for lack of better words) with Sho when they were in a deadlock while Sho was stil unconscious from having been "revived" or "regrown" from the pieces of flesh left of the CM. Wasn't that communication done through the mounds on his back? Then again, that may have been the CM. I can't remember. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 OVA is an adaptation though. there's lots of things in the OVA that are not strictly true. it's not 'canon'. Quote
durendal Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Hmm.... I may have been gravely mistaken with my conception. Quite right about Agito being in Israel prior to being brought into Tokyo via Cocoon. Then I've got nothing about the link. Alpha waves? Although I can vouch that the cocoon came rushing toward Mizuki was because of the programming Shou inserted into it. I know that It was Shou's subconscious that wanted to protect his friends by amassing more power, with the basic principle of protecting his friends, which it did when Mizuki screamed for Shou. Though the control metal may have links to each other, the user might not be consciously aware of this. This might probably the reason why Shou is not aware of Agito. Quote
jerrygoodman Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Couldn't Shizu just recall the Libertus that are fighting Aptom? Quote
durendal Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Perhaps Shizu's zoacrystal is not as refined as that of the other zoalords, that distance may reduce the effectivity of the mental commands. Even Zoalords like Kabral would require the assistance of the psychic wave generator to summon zoanoids from a distance. And also, who is to say that she hasn't already? Quote

Guest RCL6 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Peak, i wish this manga came out weekly, its too epic for monthly releases, and it should go to anime too, Quote
guyverfanatic Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Peak, i wish this manga came out weekly, its too epic for monthly releases, and it should go to anime too, Well the anime covers up to volume 10 (at least the first 3 chapters I think). I wish there would be a second season but it has been too long since the first one. Quote
alkanfel009 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) pues a mi no me gustaria que hubiese segunda temporada preferiria que reaisiesen desde zero la serie pero que tomaran los puntos mas sobresalientes de la serie con un estilo de dibujo mas oscuro con mas violencia y gore , en resumen que fuesen mas como ls primeras ovas de los 80as , o y claro que abarcaran mas de la trama como con los rebulis de evangelion o como con la nueva serie de full metal alquemist , y las nuevas ovas de hell sing , en resumen que se acercasen mas al trabajo orijinal de el manga , adaptandolo oviamente como deve ser sin cursilerias ni dramas inutiles , mas mas y mas sangre desmembramientos y peleas asta el fin despedasandose los unos a los otros eso nesesito la serie nueva , ademas de mayor participacion para murakami y aptom, claro que para alkanphel tambien , no solo sentrarse en las cursilerias de sho junto con mizuki because I do not like that second season would prefer to reais from zero to take the series but the most outstanding points of the series with a darker drawing style with more violence and gore, in short that they were more like ls first eggs of the 80AS, o clear covering over the frame as the rebulis of evangelion or the new series of full metal alquemist, and new eggs from hell sing, in short to be closer to work orijinal of the manga, adapting as being no deve oviamente kitsch and useless dramas, but more and more blood and dismemberment despedasandose fights till the end to each other that nesesito the new series, in addition to increased participation and aptom murakami, alkanphel also clear that not only the kitsch sentra with mizuki sho Edited December 11, 2011 by alkanfel009 Quote
