Larz Zahn Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 heres the thing i cant stand the most, cause it happens the most. i came to the point where i will not play games infront of her, i will not watch any kinda series or just a movie infront of her, because she asks twenty questions. one now an then wouldnt be so bad, but she gets up, walks off for about 30 minutes, then comes back and watches like five minutes, then starts askin "whoes he" or "why are the people shooting at the guy". an a simple answer wont do, cause she'll just ask follow up questions. she wants to know the whole story up front, and she wont wait till is over to find out. same with games, its like shes not willing to sit an wait till the end of a game or a movie to find out what happens, or why a bad person does what they do. she'll hold up the entire movie asking thousands of questions. lol. so for a few years i became a recluse in my room when i got a new game or movie. *BananaKing Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 All schools are differant larz... I got my grades a couple of days ago and I passed 5 out of 6 classes (hence why I have to repeat a course). I now have a 2.01 gpa which is just barely keeping me in the school! Well I got to hope things will be better this semester, but I have a feeling that my workload won't be as large this time since I only have 4 classes as opposed to the 6 I had last semester. Hey, I almost have a 1000 posts! Sweet! Quote
Larz Zahn Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 ugh... i really forgot about all that stuff... i struggled to stay above the water so to speak... it wasnt cause i couldnt do the work, it was just cause i didnt wanna do it so i kept putting it off till it was too late. then i just didnt pay attention during class... so my sorry grades were my fault. it got a bit better in college, but no too much. i did improve drastically in some classes, cause those were my major and i was very interested in them, but others like chemistry and end comp. i wasnt so hot on. i usually zoned out during class... im a bad student! lol! Larz Zahn Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 ok, first update in... forever. some of you may know that i was looking for a job for a while a few months ago, and i recently got one... in.... november or december, i dont remember really. bottom line, i got one. building drum kits in florida. well... its january now. and the freakin larz zahn luck strikes again. my boss's bosses bosses bosses boss called me into his office today. apparently this company im temping for is not making any profit, and ( thru no fault of my own) they are going to have to let me go because im only a temp, and the company's owner is a punk who pretty much wasted everybodies time on his personal project, instead of getting a particualar peice of material to finish these drum kits. thats all we need, is a peice of freakin rubber. but the owner is so concerned with his little project, he's neglected these rather important component, for 6 months!! thats how long! i didnt find out about it until yesterday, and i been busy, there is no shortage of work here, its just that with all the inflow of drums to build, there are no drums leaving. so the bosses bosses bosses bosses bosses guy told me whats going on, and that why its going on. so he's gonna let me finish out this week, then i move back to mississippi, once again, unemployed. and once more, with no internet except lousy dial up that never works.. which, actually bothers me more than losing my job! lol. .... ugh.. so... i'll be on alot this week, doing what i can and savoring what i can.. but saturday on.... i'll start the withdrawls. lol. *BananaKing Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Aww man that sucks. Well if you're gonna do an update, I might as well also. So if some of you still haven't heard, I am moving to the South end of the states. I live towards the upper end of the states and I'm now moving to Florida. I finally got in a very high tech media arts school where I can finally pursue my degree in animation. Thing that bothers me is that I'll be down in Florida for a straight 21 month program. But I'll get over that I guess. It is a bit different because my first school was only about 100 miles from my home. SO it was only a two and half hour drive home. Other than that, its mostly just working at my job at Cold Stone. I don't get a lot of hours so my paychecks aren't as good as I want them to be. I've also taken up my old hobby of Warhammer again. So, anybody here play 40k? Quote
